Episode 3 – Wounded vs Whole
2026/10/19
🎙️ Season 2: Becoming | Episode 3 – Wounded vs Whole
We’ve all been hurt. Rejection, betrayal, disappointment, and broken relationships can leave wounds that affect how we see ourselves, how we trust others, and how we move forward.
But what if the wounds of your past don’t have to define your future?
In this episode of What’s the Diff?, we explore the difference between allowing our wounds to shape our identity and allowing God to lead us into healing. Because healing doesn’t mean pretending the past never happened. It means allowing God to redeem it.
Through Scripture, personal reflection, and a relatable everyday scenario, we look at how old wounds can influence our choices, the lies we may begin to believe because of them, and the freedom that comes when we start embracing God’s truth instead.
As Psalm 147:3 reminds us, God heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. ❤️🩹
Take a moment to reflect:
🌿 What wound have I allowed to define me?
🌿 What lie did I begin believing because of it?
🌿 What truth does God speak over me instead?
🌿 Am I allowing my past to write my future, or am I giving God room to write a new story?
Remember, healing doesn’t always happen overnight. Sometimes it happens slowly, through prayer, Scripture, wise counsel, and the courage to face the places we’ve been hiding.
Your wound may be part of your story, but it does not have to become your identity.
Same wound. Different response. Different future.
Welcome to Season 2: Becoming — a journey of discovering who God created us to be, one step at a time.

Hiding vs Being Known
2026/10/12
What’s the Diff? — Season 2: Becoming
Episode 2: Hiding vs Being Known
Have you ever said, “I’m fine,” when deep down, you were struggling?
Sometimes we hide behind our smiles, protect our image, and keep the painful parts of our story locked away because we’re afraid of being rejected. But what if healing begins when we stop pretending and allow ourselves to be truly known?
In this episode, we explore the difference between hiding and being known, the courage it takes to be vulnerable, and how bringing what’s hidden into the light can open the door to healing, freedom, and genuine connection.
Through faith, personal reflection, and Scripture, we’re reminded that God already knows every part of us—and He still invites us to come closer.
💛 Reflection Questions:
What am I hiding?
Why am I afraid to be known?Who is one safe person I could trust enough to let in?Am I protecting myself, or preventing connection?Remember, being known doesn’t mean telling everyone everything. It means finding the courage to be honest in safe places and allowing God to work in the parts of our lives we’ve kept hidden.✨ “You have searched me, Lord, and You know me.” — Psalm 139:1 (NIV)
Same struggle. Different response. Different outcome.
🎧 Welcome to What’s the Diff? — Becoming, where we explore the choices that shape who we are becoming.

🎙️ SEASON 2: BECOMING
Episode 1: Performing vs Belonging
2026/10/05
What if the thing you’ve been trying so hard to earn… was never something you had to earn?
We often measure ourselves by what we do, how much we achieve, how well we serve, and whether we feel “good enough.”
But what happens when we stop performing and start belonging?
In this first episode of Season 2, we explore the difference between living for approval and living from the security of knowing you are already God’s child. ❤️
Because identity comes before performance.
✨ You don’t have to perform for a place you’ve already been given.
💭 Ask yourself:👉 Where am I trying to prove myself?👉 Whose approval am I chasing?👉 Am I serving from love or from a need to feel worthy?👉 What would change if I truly believed I already belong?
🎧 Press play and let’s begin the journey of BECOMING.
Same situation. Different perspective. Different outcome.

Isolation vs Community
2026/08/31
🎙️ Episode 16: Isolation vs Community
Have you ever been surrounded by people and still felt completely alone?
In this final episode of Season 1 of What’s the Diff?, we explore the difference between isolation and community—and how the small choices we make when we’re hurting can shape our journey.
Sometimes isolation is something life brings, but sometimes it becomes a place we hide after disappointment, rejection, or betrayal. We build walls to protect ourselves, only to discover that the same walls that keep pain out can also keep love out.
But God never designed us to walk alone.
In this episode, we talk about vulnerability, healthy relationships, carrying one another’s burdens, and the beautiful way God often brings encouragement and healing through His people.
📖 Galatians 6:2:
“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.”
As we close Season 1, take some time to reflect on these questions:
✨ Am I walking this journey alone?
✨ Who has God placed in my life to encourage me?
✨ Who really knows what’s happening in my life?
✨ Have I been carrying something that was never meant to be carried alone?
✨ Who can I encourage this week?
Remember:
Isolation leaves us carrying burdens alone.
Community reminds us we were never meant to.
Thank you for journeying with me through Season 1 of What’s the Diff? ❤️
And as we look ahead to Season 2, keep choosing Jesus, keep growing, and keep looking for the difference that makes all the difference.
Same journey.
Different support.
Different outcome.
🎙️ What’s the Diff?
Striving vs Abiding
2026/08/24
Striving vs Abiding
Have you ever felt like no matter how much you do… it’s never quite enough?
In this episode of What’s the Diff?, we explore the difference between striving and abiding—between trying to earn what God has already freely given and learning to simply remain connected to Jesus. 🌿
Jesus says in John 15:4, “Remain in Me, as I also remain in you.”
Maybe the answer isn’t to try harder… but to come closer. ❤️
As you listen, ask yourself:
👉 Am I trying to earn something God has already given me?
👉 When was the last time I simply enjoyed God’s presence without asking Him for anything?
👉 Is my service flowing from relationship… or replacing it?
👉 Am I striving, or am I abiding?
👉 What has been draining my soul?
👉 How can I spend more time with Jesus this week?
Same calling. Different source. Different outcome.
🎧 Listen to Episode 15 and discover the freedom of abiding in Him.

Knowing vs Doing

Knowing vs Doing
We all know what we should do… but are we actually doing it? 👀
In this episode, we explore the difference between knowing God’s Word and actually living it. Because knowing informs us—but doing transforms us. ❤️
💭 Take a moment to reflect:
👉 What do I already know that God is asking me to live?
👉 Where has knowledge replaced obedience in my life?
👉 What is one step of obedience I can take today?
Same truth. Different response. Different outcome.

Scarcity vs Abundance
2026/08/11
What if the biggest thing holding you back isn’t what you have… but what you believe you don’t have? 👀
“There’s not enough.”Not enough money.Not enough time.Not enough opportunities.Not enough ability.Maybe even… not enough of you.
In this episode of What’s the Diff?, we uncover the difference between living from scarcity or abundance—and how fear can quietly shape the way we think, decide, give and trust.
Because when we believe there isn’t enough, we hold on tightly. But when we believe God is our source, we can begin to live with open hands. 🙌🏻❤️
Think about it:
👉 Am I living from fear or from faith?👉 Where have I believed the lie that there isn’t enough?👉 What would change if I truly believed that God is my source?
Maybe the question isn’t, “Do I have enough?”
Maybe it’s…
“Is God enough?” 🙏🏻
🎧 Press play and discover the difference between scarcity and abundance—and the mindset that can change everything.

Pressure vs Peace
2026/08/03
Are you living under pressure… or are you living from a place of peace?
In this episode of What’s the Diff?, we explore the difference between striving to meet expectations and resting in the peace that Jesus offers. Pressure tells us that everything depends on us, while peace reminds us that everything rests with God.
If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed by the need to succeed, keep everyone happy, prove yourself, or carry responsibilities that leave you exhausted, this episode is for you.
Together, we’ll discover how to let go of unnecessary burdens, embrace faithfulness over perfection, and experience God’s peace—even in the busiest seasons of life.
Reflection Questions:
✨ Who am I trying to please?
✨ What expectations am I carrying that God never gave me?
✨ Am I living to prove myself, or to be faithful?
✨ What pressure have I been living under?
✨ Is that pressure coming from God, or from somewhere else?
✨ What would change if I chose peace instead?
Key Scriptures:
📖 Matthew 11:28–30
“Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”
📖 John 14:27
“Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you… Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”
Key Takeaway:
Pressure demands more. Peace reminds us that Jesus is enough.
