Heather Rae Swanger is the owner of the Utah Real Estate School, one of few locally-owned real estate schools in the country. When asked about the high-fail rate of new real estate agents, Heather says it comes down to two things. One is that when faced with an uncertain future of a self-employed career, many people struggle with the fear and shock of no longer being an ‘employee.’ Secondly, it takes a few months for agents to close their first deal, and by that time, many quit before they begin thanks to self-doubt and discouragement. Craig Whiting is one of the owners of Prime Real Estate Experts. He has a master’s degree in real estate development as well as years of experience that allow him to provide superior service to his clients. Craig lives by the Japanese proverb, “Fall down seven times, stand up eight.” Despite the difficult times, he was in, he knew that the opportunity to succeed in entrepreneurship was still there. As long as he kept standing up, he would never fail. The days when he had the desire to give up and stay in bed were the moments that defined Craig as a person. His secret to compelling himself forward was gratitude. Even at his lowest, Craig would number the good things in his life, such as his family, his house, and the food they ate. This practice helped him see the small successes he had every day.

Doug Horne started Horne Management Group. The company is a hotel management and development company and has also been or is involved in projects including various commercial projects including hotel development, student housing, custom homes, 18-hole golf course, and clubhouse known as Talon’s Cove Golf Course also located in Saratoga Springs. Doug is a fellow east coast guy and was born in Washington, D.C. Doug recounts an important lesson that his father imparted on him, which was integrity. After an unsuccessful business deal, Doug’s father nearly declared bankruptcy--but rather than throwing in the towel, he decided to fight through and ended up paying back every dime. This worked in his favor in the long run, as he was later to borrow any money he needed to because he had built a reputation of having integrity and a strong work ethic.

In the studio we have a power couple Marty and Lee Johnson. Marty started in the mortgage business in 2005 as a Loan Originator and has helped thousands of clients with their dream of Home Ownership in Utah, Colorado and Washington states. She also has successfully partnered with and coaches many real estate agents and loan officers in increasing their production as well as crafting a perfect client experience. Lee just retired from the Military and is joining Marty in the mortgage world.

Nathan Osmond has traveled the world training real estate investors on how to invest. He's shared the stage with United States Presidents, top business gurus, and even the "Sharks" from the hit television show, Shark Tank, He also trained the largest board of realtors in the nation (Long Island Board of Realtors, LIBOR) as their keynote speaker. Nathan now brings his Real Estate knowledge to his home state of Utah. Nathan's grandfather, George Osmond, founded Osmond Real Estate back in 1979 and Nathan has helped keep the family legacy alive.
