What If the Real Me Isn’t Enough? + How We Protect Our Marriage With the Opposite Sex
2026/09/29
What if being fully yourself still doesn’t feel like enough? And how do you protect your marriage while navigating relationships with the opposite sex? In this episode, we start with a really honest conversation about insecurity, belonging, and the fear of being fully known. Clint shares what’s coming up for him as he prepares for a men’s retreat—and what he’s realizing about his need to perform, prove himself, and feel accepted. Then we get practical about something we’ve been asked numerous times: What do healthy boundaries with the opposite sex actually look like in marriage? We share the boundaries we’ve created around texting, one-on-one conversations, emotional intimacy, physical touch, work relationships, and more—not out of fear or control, but because we want to intentionally protect what we’re building together. Is Porn Cheating When You're Dating? With Clint and Charity Munoz
2026/09/22
Is porn cheating when you're dating?  We can't tell you how many times we've been asked this: Is it cheating when we are choosing not to have sex?  Isn't it better that I look at and use porn than cross boundaries with my girlfriend?  Isn't it better that 'he' uses porn than cheats on me? This question has a ton of subtleties to it, yet they're all asking the same thing... So today we answer it.  Is it better to do this sin instead of doing that sin? Maybe we're asking the wrong question, and maybe the question reveals a deeper issue... Resources: Ask Us Anything https://restored2more.com/resources/ Thanks for listening! What Is Your Heart Hungry For? With Shawn Bonneteau
2026/09/15
What if your struggle with pornography isn’t only about sexual desire? What if underneath the urge is a heart longing to feel safe, wanted, reassured, comforted, or loved? In this episode, we sit down with Shawn Bonneteau, founder of Secret Habit Coaching, to talk about what’s really happening beneath unwanted sexual behaviors. Shawn shares his own journey with pornography, the impact it had on his marriage, his encounter with Jesus, and how understanding his story helped him move beyond simply managing behavior toward experiencing real freedom.  At the center of our conversation is the concept of the “hungry heart.” Instead of only asking, “How do I stop watching porn?” what if we started asking, “What is my heart actually hungry for?” We talk about identifying the deeper needs beneath our behaviors, allowing Jesus into those places, and why recovery isn’t just about becoming a man who doesn’t watch porn—it’s about becoming a man who can lead his heart, love deeply, and walk confidently in freedom. If you’ve been working hard at recovery but still feel stuck, this conversation will help you look beneath the struggle with curiosity, compassion, and hope. Your heart is hungry for something. The question is: what are you feeding it? https://secrethabit.ca/personalrecoveryplan/ https://secrethabit.ca/quiz/ https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/secret-habit-porn-recovery-for-christian-men/id1606390061 Resources: Ask Us Anything https://restored2more.com/resources/ Thanks for listening! I Went Back to the Places My Addiction Took Me—With My Wife
2026/09/08
What happens when you return to the places that once held some of your deepest shame? What if the parking lots, buildings, and memories connected to addiction didn’t have to own your story forever? And what could it look like to go back—not as the person you were then, but as someone who has found freedom? On our 13th wedding anniversary, we did something we never imagined we would do: we went back together to some of the places Clint’s addiction had taken him. Places connected to secrecy, acting out, betrayal, and memories we both wished had never become part of our story. But this time, we weren’t there to relive the past. We went to pray, to reclaim ground, and to ask God to use the very places that once represented captivity for something redemptive.  Clint describes his addiction like being a prisoner of war—trapped, starving for something real, and being taken farther than he ever thought he would go. But Jesus brought him out. And years later, standing in those same places with his wife beside him felt completely different. He wasn’t returning as a prisoner. He was returning free—and wanting to help someone else find the way out. In this episode, we talk honestly about the grief that can still surface years into recovery, the difference between grief and condemnation, the false promises of fantasy, and what happened when old memories were replaced with new ones. We share what it was like to pray for the men walking into these establishments, the women working inside them, and the marriages and families represented by every car in those parking lots. We also unpack something that became incredibly clear to us that day: if we want to fight pornography, exploitation, and sexual brokenness, we can’t only address the supply. We have to help heal the hearts creating the demand. This episode isn’t about telling couples to physically revisit places connected to betrayal. That was a deeply personal decision we prayerfully made in our own story. It’s about something much bigger: What if the places that once represented your greatest defeat could someday become evidence of how far God has brought you? The past doesn’t disappear. But through Jesus, it doesn’t have to get the final word. If you’ve ever wondered whether real freedom from pornography and sexual addiction is possible, whether shame can actually lose its grip, or whether God can redeem even the darkest parts of your story, we hope this conversation reminds you: There is still freedom. There is still healing. And no part of your story is beyond redemption. Resources: Ask Us Anything https://restored2more.com/resources/ Thanks for listening! What The Odyssey Gets Right About Pornography: The Siren Song of Desire
2026/09/01
Have you ever watched a scene in a movie and thought, That captures my story of brokenness so perfectly? In this episode, we unpack a powerful scene from The Odyssey and the Sirens—a beautiful, irresistible song that promises to satisfy every longing, but ultimately leads to destruction. It sparked such a meaningful conversation for us about pornography, desire, belonging, and the false promises we can so easily believe about sex. We also look back at the messages we both absorbed about sexuality from culture, our experiences, our parents, and the church—and how those narratives shaped us long before betrayal ever entered our marriage. But healing has given us the opportunity to rewrite those narratives. And as God continues to heal our own hearts, we’re learning how to talk about sexuality with freedom instead of shame—and make sure culture isn’t the loudest voice shaping the next generation. We hope this conversation encourages you to look beneath your own desires, recognize the narratives that have shaped you, and believe that God can redeem your story and give you something different to pass on. Who’s Influencing Your Recovery? The People Around You Matter
2026/08/18
Who you surround yourself with in recovery matters more than you may realize. Are the people around you helping you grow in hope, honesty, surrender, and restoration? Or have you stayed in a recovery environment that once served you well—but may no longer be helping you move forward? In this episode, we talk about the power of community in healing and why the right relationships can completely change the trajectory of your recovery. Charity shares the moment she realized she had outgrown her betrayal recovery group—not because the women in it were bad or because her pain was no longer valid, but because she needed to be surrounded by people who were pursuing the same kind of healing and restoration she desired. We also share a powerful parenting moment with our eight-year-old after he saw a frightening image he couldn’t get out of his mind. What began as a hard night became an opportunity to teach him how to bring fear into the light, reach for community, pray, speak truth, and actively engage his faith instead of trying to fight alone. That experience reminded us how similar these practices are to what we need as adults in recovery when an image, temptation, trigger, or thought gets stuck in our minds. This conversation is ultimately about learning to ask better questions: Who is influencing me? Am I still growing? Am I surrounded by people who sharpen me? Have I become dependent on a recovery system instead of depending first on Jesus? And am I willing to make a change if the environment around me is no longer producing the fruit I want in my life and marriage? We believe recovery was never meant to happen in isolation. God designed us for fellowship, confession, encouragement, and community. And when couples are surrounded by other couples who are also pursuing healing, reconciliation, and a restored marriage, something incredibly powerful can happen. If you’ve been wondering whether you need a new community, deeper fellowship, couples recovery support, or simply a few people around you who will help point you toward hope, this episode is for you. Because who you’re becoming in recovery is deeply connected to who you’re walking with. Resources: The Bridge Back to Us  https://restored2more.com/contact/#1 Thanks for listening! Heal the Boy, Free the Man: Outgrowing Porn with Drew Boa
2026/08/11
Are you using porn as a pacifier? Why do certain fantasies feel so powerful? And can you really reach a place where porn loses its pull? In this episode, we sit down with Drew Boa, founder of Husband Material and author of Outgrow Porn, to talk about why lasting freedom requires more than simply fighting urges. Drew describes porn as a pacifier—something many people discovered young and learned to use to soothe pain, loneliness, rejection, powerlessness, or unmet needs. We unpack how specific fantasies can reveal what we’re actually longing for, why understanding both pain triggers and pleasure triggers matters, and how going back into our childhood stories can help us understand where these patterns began. Drew also shares his practical BOA method: Breathe, Observe, Attune—a simple tool for moving through an urge without fighting against it and learning to identify what you truly need in that moment. This conversation unpacks how Drew has over ten years of freedom from internet pornography, and a key lies in the ability to “Heal the boy to free the man.” Resources: Outgrow Porn Book Husband Material R2M: Restored 2 More Thanks for listening! Can Individual Healing Create an Unintentional Chasm?
2026/08/04
Is an accidental chasm being created between spouses within the Christian recovery community? How do you know when you and your spouse are ready for couples work? And what do you do when one spouse is ready to heal together, but the other is not?  In today’s conversation, we answer some of the most meaningful questions we’ve recently been asked about couples recovery, The Bridge Back to Us being revolutionary in the industry, and why sobriety and personal growth do not always restore a marriage.  We hope that this conversation helps you understand what may be missing in your recovery journey and reminds you that, with humility, support, and Jesus at the center, it is possible to begin building a bridge back to one another. What Fills You Up? Identifying Your Needs and Staying in the Green
2026/07/28
What fills you up when you’re feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or emotionally drained? How do you know whether you need physical rest, relational connection, a mental break, or time with Jesus? Learning to identify and communicate our needs has helped us stay healthier, more connected, and more grounded in who God created us to be—but this has not always come naturally to us. In today’s conversation, we share some of our own struggles with running on empty, recognizing when we’re moving into the “yellow circle,” and discovering the deeper needs beneath irritability, numbing, unhealthy coping, increased temptation, scrolling, overeating, or disconnection. We’ve also learned that the things we expect to fill us up do not always meet the need beneath what we’re feeling. Our hope is that, through our conversation, you learn how to become better teammates by communicating needs, choosing curiosity over criticism, extending grace while you figure out what truly restores you, and creating space for one another to rest, process, connect, and spend time with Jesus. Are You at War with Arousal? Lust vs. Embracing Beauty with Sam Jolman
2026/07/21
What does it mean to be a biblically sexual man? Can masculine men also be deeply romantic? And how can we stop lusting and learn to embrace true beauty in other people? What if we processed beauty differently? What if beauty helped reveal our deeper needs, emotions, and inner longings rather than leading us into lust?  In today’s conversation with trauma therapist and author Sam Jolman, we unpack the difference between what happens in our physical bodies—arousal—and what happens in our hearts when we notice or feel attracted to another person. We also discuss what we can do when we notice our spouse looking at someone attractive, how couples can respond without immediately moving into fear, shame, or accusation, and how we can steward our hearts in ways that honor God, ourselves, and our spouse. This conversation touches on several topics that are crucial for us during our own healing journey. We hope you enjoy this convo as much as we did and be sure to check out Sam Jolman’s book below. The Most Masculine Men Are the Most Honest with Brook Mosser
2026/07/14
Today, with Brook Mosser, we challenge the idea that masculinity is defined by toughness, silence, performance, or stereotypically “manly” activities. Instead, biblical masculinity is marked by humility, confession, emotional honesty, meekness, and the courage to be fully known. Brook shares vulnerably from his own story of family betrayal, hidden pain, forgiveness, marriage, fatherhood, and the relationships that have helped shape him into the man he is today. Together, we talk about why so many men struggle to name what is really happening inside them, why accountability alone is often not enough, and why genuine brotherhood can become a place of healing, strength, and freedom. This episode is an invitation for men to reject isolation, stop pretending, and allow trusted brothers to help carry the weight of life. It is also an encouragement for wives who want to support their husbands without shaming, controlling, or forcing vulnerability. The most masculine men are not the ones who hide their weakness. They are the ones brave enough to tell the truth, receive help, and become more like Jesus. Restoring Date Night: Making It Fun, Not Triggering
2026/07/02
Everyone says date nights are vital for a healthy marriage. But after betrayal, date night can feel anything but fun. It can feel awkward, scary, vulnerable, and even triggering. One wrong question, one hard moment, and suddenly the whole night feels ruined. If that’s where you are, we get it. Restoring date night was not easy for us. We had some funny fails, awkward silences, and plenty of trial and error along the way. But over time, we learned how to make date night feel safe, lighthearted, and enjoyable again. In this episode, we share the do’s and don’ts of date night in recovery, what helped us stop turning dates into recovery check-ins, and how couples can begin laughing, reconnecting, and creating new memories after betrayal. The Travel Plan Every Couple Needs After Betrayal
2026/06/23
Can travel feel safe again when trust is still healing? For many couples, work trips, weekends away, or time apart can bring up fear, anxiety, and painful memories. In this episode, we talk about how to create a travel safety plan that helps both spouses feel cared for before, during, and after a trip. We share practical ways to prepare instead of repair, build trust through proactive accountability, identify triggers, and create boundaries that protect the relationship. Travel does not have to be another place where fear takes over. With humility, preparation, and a clear plan, it can become an opportunity to rebuild safety and trust. AI: The Greatest Threat to Sexual Health and Real Connection with Michael Leahy
2026/06/16
In this shocking and eye-opening episode, we sit down with Michael Leahy, founder and CEO of BraveHearts and author of Porn Nation, to talk about a danger most people are not prepared for: the way AI is reshaping pornography, addiction, intimacy, emotional attachment, and what it means to be human. Michael has spent decades helping men, women, and couples heal from sexual addiction and betrayal trauma. But after watching the rapid rise of AI, he believes we are entering an entirely new frontier — one that may be even more dangerous than the early days of internet pornography. This conversation goes beyond AI-generated pornography. We talk about AI companions, emotional dependency, betrayed spouses, parenting, recovery, and why real relationships, with real hurt and pain, need a real community and a real God. This is a sobering and urgent conversation for every spouse, parent, pastor, counselor, and ministry leader who wants to understand what is coming — and how we can respond with wisdom, safety, and hope.
