-Nebraska’s special teams have continually not been good enough, and one major issue is kicking---Kyle Cunanan was way short and right on another 50+ yard attempt (the hold also was not good), but that’s no 0-for-3 on 50+ yard kicks. -The Hoosiers rolled out to a 37-0 lead at Rutgers before winning, 47-15, and come to Lincoln with a 5-0 record and 21 straight wins -Nebraska’s running game ended up with 200+ yards rushing but it took a lot of Anthony Colandrea scrambling to hit those numbers, as the RBs struggled to get much going until the 4 th quarter…can this offensive line stay in it vs. Indiana? -The first quarter was nothing other than disastrous for Nebraska, as the opening drive was extended for the Terps by a running into the kicker penalty which resulted in a field goal eventually; Maryland scored 4 separate times in the opening quarter, but thankfully only one drive was a TD -Somehow, someway, Nebraska led this game at halftime, 28-23, despite being overwhelmed in yardage…and then, the 2 nd half featured a shutout by the defense and 21 points by the offense….how do we assess that game with the penalties and slow start?
