2026/08/21
Join us at the Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament for the Adoration Sodality Day of Recollection with Fr. Joseph Tuscan, OFM Cap. A Capuchin Franciscan priest and experienced retreat master, Fr. Joseph carries forward the Franciscan tradition of apostolic preaching, rooted in St. Francis of Assisi’s profound love for the Most Holy Eucharist. Through parish missions and retreats for priests, religious communities, and the laity, his ministry calls souls to deeper conversion, renewed faith in the sacraments, and greater joy in living the Gospel. Fr. Joseph has appeared on EWTN and numerous Catholic radio and television programs. He currently serves as Director General of the Archconfraternity of Christian Mothers while continuing his full-time preaching ministry for the Capuchin Province of St. Augustine. During his visit to the Shrine to lead a retreat for the Poor Clares of Perpetual Adoration, Fr. Joseph once again joined the Adoration Sodality as Retreat Master for this Day of Recollection. We invite you to listen, reflect, and draw closer to Our Lord in the Most Blessed Sacrament. Dots of revelation were sprinkled throughout the Old Testament. February 2026 Retreat | Talk III: Are you Ready? The Four Last Things
2026/02/20
Fr. Patrick Mary, MFVA spoke at our afternoon Eucharistic Holy Hour on Death, Judgement, Heaven, and Hell, traditionally referred to as “the four last things.” Lent is the ideal time to take a step back and reflect on where you are right now. If you were to die today and stand before the Judgement seat of God, He, in His infinite mercy, will give you the destination you have chosen. But have you chosen Him with your whole heart? February 2026 Retreat | Talk II: Lenten Confession Pop Quiz
2026/02/20
Fr. Dominic Mary, MFVA surprised us all by pulling a Pop Quiz on Confession out of his Franciscan habit (don’t think it has back pockets). Can you answer them all?  Father Dominic Mary of Our Lady of Grace, is originally from Wisconsin and started out as an engineer, but thanks to an inspiring college roommate, he embraced his Catholic faith with a renewed zeal. After some time working in Chicago as an engineer, he joined the Franciscan Missionaries of the Eternal Word thirty-two years ago, in 1994. He was ordained to the Holy Priesthood in 2004 so he will celebrate twenty-two years as a priest this year. In August of 2012, he completed his studies in Canon Law at the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. Currently Fr. Dominic is assigned here at the Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament where he daily celebrates Masses, hears Confessions, blesses our religious objects and delivers talks to groups of pilgrims. In addition he serves his community as a Council Member of the Franciscan Missionaries of the Eternal Word and serves as a Canon lawyer in various capacities.
