Chapter 1: Before I was Mr Mc
2026/06/26
In this first episode, I’m going right back to the beginning. Before Mr Mc, before the classroom, before the workshops, the podcast, the resources, the burnout and the rebuilding… there was just me, sitting in school, trying to work out who I was and where I fitted.
This episode is the opening chapter of my story.
It’s a story about identity, confidence, belonging, and the beginning of a journey that would eventually lead me into teaching, burnout, recovery, and taking back control of my own life.
So here we go!
Back On Track: Be Bold, Be Brave, But Never Be Basic… buckle up for the journey!
2026/04/01
Get ready for my story… why does it even matter? Because I have been there, the highs and the absolute gutter feeling lows of burn out! But I am back and thriving! Think of this of more like my audiobook. Come along to listen to my journey. It won’t always be an easy listen, but difficult things need to be spoken about, hard things we learn from, change is challenging but life deserves to be lived!
