The conservation girls speak to Genaye on the conservation of whale sharks, her current marine biology work, and how she got involved in the field of marine biology. In this episode, we share a presentation by Charles Summerfield and Tendai Wilkinson, founders of the NPO Rhinosaverz based in South Africa, given during the Global Co Lab All Hands Meeting in October. We chat about the state of poaching, and how teens can get involved in efforts on the ground in Africa to combat the illegal wildlife trade. We speak in depth about the orphaned rhino sanctuary, Care For Wild, and the process of rehabilitating orphaned rhinos whose mothers were victims of poaching. Charles' and Tendai's message to teens: use your unique talents to focus on the area of conservation you want to help the most! We hope you enjoy!

In this episode, we speak with Grace Comerford, a teen climate activist from California, who is part of our Climate Hub and a winner of our teen's dream video contest from the Global Co Lab. Grace is extremely passionate about wildlife conservation and saving the environment, and has written and self-published multiple books about saving endangered species and more! We were able to talk to her about the process of self-publishing, her experience working with wildlife, and what teens can do to protect wildlife in their own communities. We hope you enjoy!
