#61: Goodbye for Now - Choosing What Supports This Season of My Life
2026/08/23
Sometimes the bravest decision isn’t to keep pushing — it’s to recognise when your priorities need to change.
In this very personal episode of Cappuccinos & Confidence with Nefe, I’m sharing why I’ve decided to pause the podcast and step away from one-to-one life coaching for now.
After everything that has changed in my life and health over the past year, I’ve been thinking much more carefully about where I put my time, energy and attention. Coaching has allowed me to support some wonderful people, but once someone has made the change they came to me for, they naturally move forward — which means a lot of my time has been spent constantly trying to find new clients.
Right now, I need to focus on building something that provides more consistent income and supports the life I want to create for myself and my family.
That means putting more of my energy into Nefe Ledger, my bookkeeping and finance administration business.
I’m still helping people — it just looks a little different now.
In this episode, I talk about changing direction without seeing it as failure, choosing what works for the season of life you’re actually in, being realistic about money and energy, and why sometimes something can be meaningful without needing to be your forever path.
The podcast and one-to-one coaching will be taking a break, but NefeOguntoye.com will remain online, with all of the blog posts, resources and content I’ve created to help you build your confidence, manage your money and create a life that feels more like your own. I’ll also still share occasional blog posts when I have something I genuinely want to say.
And if you’re a small business owner, freelancer or sole trader who needs support with bookkeeping or finance administration, you can now find me at:
https://nefeledger.com
For all my existing confidence, lifestyle and personal development content:
https://nefeoguntoye.com
Thank you so much to everyone who has listened, downloaded an episode, read a blog post, used one of my resources, worked with me or sent me a private message. Knowing that something I created has made even a small difference in someone else’s life has meant more to me than you probably realise.
This isn’t goodbye forever.
It’s simply goodbye for now. 💛
#60: Too Much to Do? Time Management When Life Feels Full
2026/08/17
Too much to do and never enough time?
In Episode 60 of Cappuccinos & Confidence with Nefe, we are talking about time management when life feels full—when work, relationships, family, your home, your health and your own goals are all competing for the same limited hours.
Through the story of Amara, an ambitious and dependable woman trying to fit every important priority into one week, we explore why the problem is not always that you need to manage your time better. Sometimes, you are simply trying to fit more into your week than your current capacity can realistically hold.
In this episode, we explore:
Why available time is not the same as available capacity
How to create a more honest and realistic weekly schedule
Why every blank space in your calendar does not need to be filled
How to identify the season of life you are currently in
Why not every priority can receive equal attention at the same time
How boundaries protect your time and energy
Why every “yes” has a hidden cost
How to leave breathing room for unexpected life
How to decide what you are consciously not prioritising this week
We also talk about one important reminder:
Not now does not mean never.
Something can matter deeply without needing to become your priority today, this week or even this month.
Try the seven-day calendar reset
Open your calendar and look at the next seven days. Before adding anything else, ask yourself:
What do I realistically have the capacity for?
Which one or two priorities matter most right now?
What can I reduce, postpone or remove?
Where do I need a boundary?
Where is the breathing room?
Then choose one thing you are consciously not prioritising this week and remind yourself:
“This matters, but it does not need my attention this week.”
Sometimes, the answer is not better time management.
Sometimes, the answer is fewer priorities.

2026/07/08
If the word “budget” makes you feel restricted, judged or slightly tempted to avoid your bank account altogether, this episode is for you.

Self-love sounds beautiful in theory — but what happens when it feels awkward, uncomfortable or even impossible?

In this episode, we talk about:
Why self-love can feel uncomfortable at first
How people-pleasing and self-criticism affect your confidence
The difference between real self-love and performative self-care
How to start listening to your needs without guilt
Small ways to rebuild self-trust and self-worth
Reflection questions to help you reconnect with yourself
This episode is your reminder that you do not have to love every part of yourself overnight. You simply have to start treating yourself like someone worth listening to.

#48: Becoming Her — Without Losing Yourself
2026/05/27
Everywhere you look, someone is telling you how to become “that girl” — but what happens when becoming her starts to feel like becoming someone you don’t even recognise?
In this episode of Cappuccinos & Confidence, Nefe explores the pressure to glow up, level up and become your “best self” without turning personal growth into another performance. We talk about the difference between real inner growth and social media aesthetics, why confidence is not about rejecting your current self, and how to evolve in a way that feels honest, grounded and true to you.
In this episode, you’ll hear about:
Why the “That Girl” aesthetic can become a mask
The difference between looking healed and actually healing
How to stop measuring your growth against someone else’s highlight reel
Practical steps to become your best self without losing your personality, joy or peace
Reflection questions to help you define what “becoming her” really means for you
This is your reminder that you do not become your best self by abandoning who you are. Real growth is not about becoming more perfect — it is about becoming more honest, more confident and more connected to yourself.
