Exploring Worship - Bless
2026/04/20
Welcome to the Inverclyde Vineyard Church Podcast andcatch-up from our Faith Conversations programme. In this series, we’re exploring worship. At IVC we want to be authentic Christians living andpracticing our faith in a way which is relevant for us, our friends, family, neighbours and community. As a relatively new church plant, we’re still exploring ouridentity of who we are.  And to do that we’re asking questions, of ourselves, of each other, and of God.  One thing has become very evident in that we want to understand and explore the bible within it’s historical and culturalmoments, which then leads us to ask: how then do we live, work, worship, and be. In this series of faith conversations, we are looking at thevery nature of worship; of how we express our worship; and discover what elements we need to rediscover, emphasise and adopt. In this episode we examine why God blesses us to be a blessing. If you’ve questions or comments, please email us using theemail address [email protected].

Live & Belong :: Love, Love, Love
2025/05/27
In this Live & Belong series, we’re following Paul’sletter to the followers of Jesus in the city of Corinth in 1 Corinthians.   The letter was written in around 54ad – so around 25 years after the death and resurrection of Jesus.  Paul is writing from Ephesus. Corinth was a small congregation, possibly even a network ofgroups which met in peoples homes throughout the city and surrounding area.  This letter from Paul is centred around how the Jesus followers are to relate to each other and to the world around them. So, it’s themes are very important for us today as we builda new expression of church community at Inverclyde Vineyard Church. In this episode we see how the Corinthian worldview was being mingled and synchronised with Christian living. The grace of God was being exploited and even those outside the church were not agreeing with the moral and ethical stance they were taking and practicing. This episode was recorded on Sunday May 18th, 2025 atInverclyde Vineyard Church and is titled ‘Love, Love, Love ’. As a Church Community we’re all following a 10 week readingplan of 1 Corinthians.  If you’d like tojoin us then it is available here. If you’ve questions or comments, please email us using theemail address [email protected].
