It’s 1955, Montreal is booming, its international reputation growing by leaps and bounds and rivalling the iconic city of Toronto in industry and investment. When an unfortunate accident takes the life of Mrs. Brian Eaton, everyone agrees it’s a tragedy. But when a second sudden death occurs only weeks later, Chief Inspector Crippen starts to fear for the warm bodies still left—even for Ronnie the helpful newcomer who seems to know everyone and everything...and possibly whodunit.
