Todays yarn is with Bain Dohne. Bain is an Australian Airforce Veteren, who grew up in South Africa. He tells me about going to sleep hearing gun shots in South Africa, joining the airforce to hopefully become a pilot, becoming a host nation liaison in the middle east and most recently running a covid taskforce in Sydney. 

Jarrad is a former Airforce military dog handler and explosive detection dog handler and mine worker. We have a yarn about his time working in the mines around Australia. We talk about his experiences good and bad, emotional tolls and what its like to work away from your family. 

This yarn is about Marcs youth in Ireland, stories he tells me include games he played, traps he made, items he stole and tunnel systems he went exploring in. 

Todays yarn is with Marc who tells me all about his crazy antics as a child in Ireland during halloween such as bon fires, blowing up fire works and being chased by a man with a hatchett. 

A yarn about Aarons life with God and religion, a very interesting chat for me as someone who doesn't have a faith in religion. We talk about his baptism at 15, how he stays faithfull to God and how religion helps him through his life.  There is a part 2 coming where we discuss and disagree in what we believe and have faith in. 

Todays yarn is with Damon Kelly, Olympic weight lifter who has won Commonwealth gold, silver and bronze and competed at the olympics. This yarn is about his experience of getting into weightlifting, winning gold, retiring from competition and everything in between. 

Today we have a yarn about our experiences with early gaming from Atari, Nintendo and Playstation 1 and all consoles in between. 

Today we have a yarn about James' experience with listening to rock for the first time, Metallicas black album, some bands he liked and trying to get rock music into his house as a teenager. 

Aaron is a christian construction worker who likes to keep up with current events so we had a yarn about Covid 19, lockdowns and vaccines also the ups and downs of the last 18 months, mostly downs. To enforce a vaccine or to not that is the question. Feel free to disagree with anything that is said. 

Marc and I have a yarn about the Die hard movie franchise, loves and hates of the five movies mainly loves.
