What began as graffiti evolved into a creative outlet during years marked by mental illness, addiction, and instability. As a teenager and young adult, Kyle spent time in and out of institutions, fighting internal battles that often went unseen. Addiction and ongoing mental health struggles followed him into adulthood, nearly costing him everything more than once.

Sean turned to alcohol at a young age to numb pain and escape trauma, beginning a 30+ year cycle of addiction. By 15, he was involved in gang life on Chicago’s South Side, searching for acceptance he couldn’t find at home. He witnessed friends murdered, lost his brother to suicide, spent nearly 10 years incarcerated, and lost two marriages and his children to addiction. I started young with weed and alcohol, then graduated to cocaine and acid. By my twenties, the party life was all I knew. After getting hurt at work in 2014, pain pills took over, and I was eating enough every day to knock down an elephant.
