On this episode of B’s and Queens with Caitlin Palmer, we meet Dr. Andrew Knight of the University of Winchester. Dr. Andrew led a survey study of more than 2,500 dogs to explore links between dog diet and health outcomes, suggesting that nutritionally sound vegan diets may be healthier and less hazardous than conventional or raw meat-based diets.

Behavioral issues are the #1 reason why dogs end up in shelters. According to the ASPCA approximately 3.1 million dogs are surrendered or placed in U.S. animal shelters every year. Even more worrisome? Thousands never get adopted.  But there is good news! We  can quite literally save the life of a dog with proper training and care. We simply must learn to listen to our dogs, communicate effectively, correct bad behaviors, and respond appropriately.
