Everyday is a smörgåsbord when it comes to these episodes. We stumble upon a music that inspires to be streamed, we meet an artist who's energy motivates being shared, we listen to my voice notes that evoke an emotion and want it to be compiled. Everyday.  On this one, we included songs that were long meant to be played, and music we came across from just scrolling social media timelines. Peace. First of all, this was meant to drop at the time we told those we told, that it would drop at that time we said it would drop. Secondly, it didn't. For the umpteenth time, we should stop telling listeners when Podtape is probably going to drop. For the other umpteenth time, it never drops when we say it'll drop. But, we will tell the people when to expect an episode. We have always loved the story behind a record, behind an album, behind an era of a culture. It is very enjoyable when artists create that extra bonus material, to speak on the making of their project. Similar to the director's commentary about a film. Also, we do believe the playlist is very important as part of the music offering. On that note, we will admit that it slipped our conscience to do the due with the last (the first) episode, excuse being the excitement to upload the tape. On this one, we decided to apply commentary on how it all came together with episode 01, and since new music instrumentals were attached, we will also include the playlist for this very episode. It’s been 10 years since the last year, and now we reappear with Podtape for your ear.  This is where we close the gap, with an episode for those formerly known as the avid listeners. The culture never picked up where we left off, regarding showing musical support for local Botswana hip hop.  A responsibility we’ve now taken upon ourselves to disembark from the long decade of a hiatus, and make Podtape play again.
