Now What? - Romans
2026/11/01
What are you still holding back from God? His mercy invites us to give him our whole lives, let him renew our minds, and use our gifts to serve others. That love reaches beyond our church family to those who are far from God—even to people who are hard to love.
From Insecurity to Secuirty - Romans
2026/10/25
Where can we find lasting security in an uncertain world? Through Jesus’ resurrection, God gives us living hope, an unfading inheritance, and his protecting power. His promise is to carry us through suffering into his presence, giving us courage to stand for Christ today.
The Depths of His Riches - Romans
2026/10/18
How do we trust God when life doesn’t make sense? Discover the depth of his wisdom, kindness, and grace—and how recognizing his gifts leads us to humility, gratitude, and a life that gives him glory.
Mercy to All Who Believe - Romans
2026/10/11
God has not rejected Israel or his promises to Abraham. A remnant remains by grace, and Israel’s unbelief allows Gentiles to share in these promises through faith. This calls for humility, not arrogance. Israel’s hardening is temporary, and God can graft them in again. Salvation rests on God’s mercy, not human performance, for both Jew and Gentile. The good news is that God's mercy in Jesus Christ awaits ALL who believe!
How Will They Hear? - Romans
2026/10/04
How can people believe if they haven't heard? Everyone who calls on Jesus’s name will be saved, but before they can believe they have to hear about Jesus, and God uses us to tell them. As followers of Jesus, we are sent to love others and share the Gospel in our everyday lives. You don't need perfect words and you’re certainly not sent to win arguments—just a willingness to love and speak up when God opens the door. Join us as we explore what it means to share our faith naturally and effectively.
Stumblin', Bumblin', Fumblin' - Romans
2026/09/27
You can be passionate about God and still miss him. In Romans 9:30–10:13, Paul explains how his own people, who had the Scriptures and worked harder than anyone at pleasing God, stumbled over Jesus, while people who weren't even looking for God found him. Their problem wasn't a lack of effort; it was trying to reach God on their own. The good news is that God has already come near to us in Jesus. You don't have to clean yourself up or prove anything to him first, because anyone who calls on him will be saved.
Is God Unjust? - Romans
2026/09/20
Is God unjust when he shows mercy to some and not to others? None of us deserves his mercy, and his choice rests on his goodness rather than our effort, background, or worth. Moses and Pharaoh show that God is free to show mercy and he is just in judgment, even as we remain responsible for our response to Christ. These can be hard things! But always remember that we can bring our hard questions to God while remembering that he’s the potter and we are the clay. We can always trust and rest in the fact that all of his ways and actions are good, because he himself is altogether good.
Before You Were Born... - Romans
2026/09/06
Even though we know that God’s promises never fail, sometimes life can make it feel like they have. In Romans 9:1-13 we find Paul full of sorrow and grieving over his family, friends, and people being far from God and without faith in Christ. God had given every advantage to them people, including promise upon promise, yet they still rejected Jesus. But it wasn’t God’s word or promises that had failed. God’s word stands firm. Paul goes on to note that God choose us not based on anything good about us, but entirely due to his goodness. God choosing is the doctrine of election. It’s a truth that gives us great comfort and security in God’s kindness toward us, and moves us to grieve, love, and pray for those who are far from God that they might come to faith in Jesus.
Inadequate... But Still Useful! - Single Messages
2026/08/30
God calls every believer to serve him and carry the good news to others, even when we feel inadequate. Moses offered excuse after excuse—Who am I? What will I say? What if they do not believe me? I am not a good speaker. Please send someone else!—yet God answered every objection and still used him powerfully. The same is true for us: God does not call us because we are naturally sufficient, but he does promise to enable those he sends. Rather than passing the responsibility to pastors or waiting until we feel capable, we are called to go where God has placed us, speak about Jesus, and trust him to work through our weakness.
Extend the Gospel - Find Your Way
2026/08/23
At Wawasee Bible, Your Pathway is to (1) be ENCOURAGED in your faith, (2) get EQUIPPED for your calling, (3) ENGAGE at Wawasee, and (4) EXTEND the Gospel wherever you live, work, learn, and play. This week Bob Blahnik from Evangelism Shift joins us as we look at Jesus's model of extending the Gospel in John 4:1-42. We're sent to love people and invite them to follow Jesus with us. That involves intentionally going to people, cultivating relationships, listening well, finding common ground, sowing gospel truth, and pointing people to Jesus. Jesus calls us to move from “come and see” to “go and seek” as we extend the Gospel.

Be Encouraged - Find Your Way
2026/08/09
At Wawasee Bible, Your Pathway is to (1) be ENCOURAGED in your faith, (2) get EQUIPPED for your calling, (3) ENGAGE at Wawasee, and (4) EXTEND the Gospel wherever you live, work, learn, and play. This week Pastor Josh briefly explains each part of that pathway before unpacking why gathering regularly is so important. Hebrews 10:24-25 says it’s so that we would stir one another up to love and good works and to encourage one another. There’s a path for you at Wawasee that begins with showing up to be encouraged and to encourage others.
The Grateful Life - Grateful
2026/07/05
We wrap up our Grateful series by looking at three evidences of a grateful life from Colossians 3 and Habakkuk 3. Gratitude isn't just a feeling tied to good circumstances — it's a heart posture that returns thanks to God no matter what. That posture shows up in three ways: it lets Christ's peace rule our hearts, lets his word shape our walk, and lets his strength sustain us — even when everything else fails.
Here and Not Home - Grateful
2026/06/28
There are two things we can be grateful for as Americans. First, that God (in his sovereignty) placed us here. And second, that here is not home. We've been sent here by God to seek the good and welfare of this place so that others might know God's goodness in Jesus Christ personally. But while we've been sent here, here is not home. As followers of Jesus our citizenship is in Heaven, and from there we await our Savior who will come and fully transform us.
Don't Forget... - Grateful
2026/06/21
Gratitude fades when God’s people forget the Lord, not because they lose information, but because they stop keeping his goodness at the center of their lives. Deuteronomy 8 calls God’s people to remember how he humbled them, provided for them, disciplined them, blessed them, and warned them against pride. Remembering the Lord forms grateful people who can trust him in the wilderness, bless him in gratefulness, and source every accomplishment in his grace.
