Episode 240: The Gospel for Sale: Jim Bakker, the Prosperity Gospel, and the Business of Selling God's Blessings
2026/10/28
Jim Bakker died on October 5, 2026, at 86. Paul M. Neuberger uses his death not to mock a man whose fall from grace became a national scandal, but to ask a harder question: why did the theology that built Bakker’s empire survive him?  This episode traces the PTL Club from its peak, an estimated 13 million nightly viewers and a sprawling Christian resort called Heritage USA, through the 1987 scandal involving church secretary Jessica Hahn, the discovery of a ministry drowning in debt despite enormous fundraising, and Bakker’s eventual conviction on 24 counts of fraud and conspiracy. But the history is really a setup for Paul’s real target: the prosperity gospel itself, and how comfortably it still lives inside modern American Christianity, including, he admits, inside his own ambition.  This is one of the more self-critical episodes of the show. Paul turns the lens on his own history as a self-described “recovering workaholic,” connects it to the same 2018 season of depression and suicidal thoughts he’s referenced before, and asks listeners (and himself) where ambition quietly becomes idolatry.  In this episode, you’ll hear:  The rise and collapse of PTL and Heritage USA, including the financial numbers behind the ministry’s debt and donor fundraisingWhy Paul separates “money” from “the love of money,” and insists the show isn’t anti-wealth or anti-fundraisingCurrent survey data cited in the episode: a 2023 PRRI finding that 31% of Americans agree God rewards strong faith with wealth and health, a Baylor study at 17%, and a LifeWay study finding 69% of Protestant churchgoers believe God wants them to prosper financiallyWhy Paul argues forgiveness and restored spiritual authority are not the same thingA direct challenge to Christian leaders, including himself, about confusing audience growth with God’s approvalThe distinction Paul draws between discernment and judgment when evaluating a teacher’s public ministryWhy Paul calls his 2018 crisis a turning point in understanding his identity apart from achievementWhat Paul says accountability should look like for Christian leaders and organizations, including financial transparencyBecome an official member of C-Suite for ChristSupport the mission with a donation (C-Suite for Christ is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit)Learn about becoming a market president and leading a local chapter Key Scripture referenced: 1 Timothy 6:10, Mark 8:36, Galatians 6:7, James 3:1, Luke 9:23, Matthew 6:24, 2 Corinthians 12:9, Philippians 4:12, John 16:33, 2 Timothy 4:3, Acts 17:11, Galatians 1:10, Matthew 6:21, Proverbs 27:17, Ephesians 2:8, 2 Corinthians 9:7, 1 John 4:1, Ephesians 5:11, Matthew 16:26 Get involved Visit csuiteforchrist.com Mixing, editing, and show notes provided by NEXT DAY PODCAST
Episode 239 : The Devil Doesn't Need a Real Woman to Destroy Your Marriage
2026/10/20
A man can be emotionally unfaithful without another human being ever entering the relationship. That’s the claim Paul M. Neuberger opens with this week, and it’s not hypothetical. He downloaded an AI girlfriend app called Zeta himself to understand what’s happening inside the hearts of Christian men who are forming attachments to software. This episode goes to a place most church conversations avoid entirely: artificial intimacy, pornography, secrecy, and the quiet erosion that happens one small compromise at a time. Paul is unusually personal here, naming his own decade-long battle with pornography addiction and a specific turning point in his recovery this past June. He doesn’t treat this as a hypothetical “some men out there” problem. He treats it as a mirror. In this episode, you’ll hear:  Why Paul believes Matthew 5:28 (lust “in the heart”) applies even when the object of that lust was never a real personWhat happened when Paul spent several days inside the Zeta app researching the appeal a friend had confided he was struggling with, and what he recognized in himselfWhy Paul calls loneliness “a business model,” and how AI companion apps monetize emotional vulnerabilityThe Common Sense Media stat that 72% of American teens surveyed had used an AI companion at least once, and why Paul says that number matters even without evidence of romantic useWhy Paul argues businessmen protect their company’s intellectual property more carefully than their own hearts, and what that double standard revealsA direct word to men on the difference between remaining “strong” by hiding a struggle versus taking it to the lightA direct word to spouses who’ve discovered secret pornography or digital relationships, and why forgiveness and trust-rebuilding aren’t the same timelineWhy Paul distinguishes “godly sorrow” from simply feeling bad about getting caught, using 2 Corinthians 7:10Practical next steps: deleting the app, telling a pastor or accountability partner, setting boundaries before private conversations turn sexualBecome an official member of C-Suite for ChristSupport the mission with a donation (C-Suite for Christ is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit)Learn about becoming a market president and leading a local chapterShop the C-Suite for Christ SWAG store (Serve, Worship, And Glorify)Key Scripture referenced:Matthew 5:28, Proverbs 4:23, 1 Corinthians 13:4, James 1:14, Matthew 26:41, Numbers 32:23, Luke 16:10, Galatians 5:16, Galatians 5:24, James 5:16, 2 Corinthians 7:10, Romans 8:1, 1 Peter 5:8, Joshua 24:15, Mark 8:36, Genesis 2:18, Romans 12:2Get involved Visit csuiteforchrist.com.Mixing, editing, and show notes provided by NEXT DAY PODCAST
Episode 238 :They’re Not Coming for Someone Else’s Child
2026/10/20
This is the hardest episode Paul M. Neuberger has recorded. He says so himself, more than once. There's no Liam Neeson story here, no villain who gets caught in two hours while the credits roll. This episode is about real human trafficking: a $236 billion global industry built on buying and selling human beings, and the uncomfortable truth that awareness without action has become its own kind of complacency.  Paul doesn't treat this as an issue "out there." As a father of three, he walks through the numbers the way a parent does, by refusing to let them stay numbers. He talks openly about his own decade-long struggle with pornography and why he believes Christians need to examine what they consume before they condemn what traffickers do. And he makes a direct, specific case to business leaders: the resources, relationships, and influence that build companies are exactly what's needed to fight this.  This episode is heavy. It's also one of the most action-oriented the show has done, closing with a national hotline, concrete steps for parents, churches, and executives, and a clear answer to the question "what can one person actually do?"  In this episode, you'll hear:  The scale of the problem: an estimated 27.6 million people in forced labor worldwide, 6.3 million in forced commercial sexual exploitation, and children representing 38% of detected trafficking victims globallyWhy Paul says the Hollywood image of trafficking (a van, a stranger, a kidnapping) causes Christians to miss what's actually happening around themHow grooming really works: not a kidnapping, but attention, affection, and dependency that slowly turns into controlWhy 83% of trafficking survivors in one national survey reported experiencing poverty before being trafficked, and 96% reported prior abuse, and what that means about who predators targetThe scale of online enticement: 1.4 million cyber tipline reports in 2025, and why Paul calls smartphones "thousands of digital doors" into a child's lifePaul's personal disclosure about his own pornography addiction, and why he connects that conversation to the larger one about sexual exploitationThe Parable of the Good Samaritan, and why Paul says the priest and the Levite are the ones Christians should read most carefullyA direct challenge to business executives: how supply chains, vendor relationships, and influence can be used to fight exploitation instead of ignoring itWhat churches should look like as "the safest building in the community," including how not to handle a disclosure of abusePractical next steps for parents, including how to talk to kids about grooming and sextortion before a crisis, not afterBecome an official member of C-Suite for ChristMake a tax-deductible donation (C-Suite for Christ is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit)Learn about becoming a market president and leading a local chapter If you or someone you know needs help: National Human Trafficking Hotline: 1-888-373-7888 Text: 233733 Emergency: 911 Key Scripture referenced: Genesis 1:27, Psalm 82:4, Proverbs 31:8, Proverbs 22:6, James 1:27, Mark 7:21-22, Psalm 139:23-24, Isaiah 1:17, Luke 10:37, Matthew 25:40, Micah 6:8, John 1:5, Psalm 147:3, Proverbs 24:11, Ephesians 5:11, Matthew 5:14 Get involved Visit csuiteforchrist.com. Episode 237 :The Devil Is Not a Metaphor
2026/10/05
What if the devil isn't a metaphor?  That's the question Paul M. Neuberger opens with this week, and he doesn't ease into it. This episode goes somewhere most "polite Christianity" avoids: Satan, demons, darkness, and the spiritual battle Scripture says is happening around us whether we acknowledge it or not.  The jumping-off point is a real, reported incident. On September 3, 2026, messianic Jewish author Jonathan Cahn was on a flight from Dallas to Newark, talking with the passenger beside him about faith, when the conversation allegedly turned violent, fast. Cahn believes he encountered something deeper than one angry man having a bad day. Paul doesn't tell you what to believe about that flight. What he does say is that dismissing the possibility without examining it through Scripture would be a mistake.  From there, the episode turns into something bigger than one airplane. It's about why our culture will binge supernatural horror and superhero movies by the billion but treats anyone who takes the spiritual realm seriously as unsophisticated. It's about the difference between spiritual awareness and spiritual paranoia. And it's about the masks evil wears when it isn't dramatic at all, when it looks like ambition, success, busyness, or a LinkedIn profile that looks incredible from the outside.  In this episode, you'll hear:  The full account of what happened aboard American Airlines Flight 618, and why Paul refuses to either dismiss it or declare it provenWhy Ephesians 6:12 ("our struggle is not against flesh and blood") is the anchor for the entire episodeThe difference between seeing Satan everywhere and refusing to acknowledge him anywhere, and why Paul says both extremes are dangerousPew Research numbers on how many Americans believe in a spiritual world beyond the natural one, and what that says about where the culture actually standsWhy Satan's "opening move" in Genesis wasn't an explosion, it was a question: Did God really say?The masks evil wears: greed as ambition, pride as confidence, self-worship as authenticity, idolatry as successWhy the real enemy, according to Paul, is never the person in front of you, and what that means for how Christians are supposed to fight this battleCurrent religious landscape numbers: 62% of U.S. adults identify as Christian today versus 78% in 2007, and what Paul thinks that means for the mission aheadWhy surrender, not willpower, is the actual battle plan, drawn from James 4:7Join C-Suite for Christ as an official memberSupport the mission with a donation (C-Suite for Christ is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit)Learn about becoming a market president and leading a local chapter Key Scripture referenced: Ephesians 6:11-12, 1 Peter 5:8, Genesis 3:1, 2 Corinthians 11:14, John 10:10, John 3:19, John 8:12, Romans 1:16, Luke 23:34, Romans 12:21, James 4:7, Colossians 2:15, 1 John 4:4, John 1:5 Get involved Visit csuiteforchrist.com for all three. Episode 236: The Bullet Didn’t Silence Charlie Kirk. But Did It Change Us?
2026/09/25
Today, we confront a moment that shook the nation. The assassination of Charlie Kirk. Not just another headline. Not another fleeting controversy to be fed to the algorithm and forgotten by Friday. A 31-year-old husband, father, and believer gunned down in broad daylight for stepping into the public arena. But one year later, Paul M. Neuberger refuses to offer empty sentiment. He asks the hard, convicting question: Did America actually learn anything? Or did we just trade our grief for more outrage, deeper tribalism, and louder hatred? Make no mistake—a bullet is not an argument. And Christianity is not a team sport. Jesus Christ doesn’t share His throne with political parties, media figures, or cultural movements. When we excuse venom on our side while screaming about it on theirs, we aren’t defending the gospel—we’re worshiping an idol. What will you do when the cultural temperature rises? Will you surrender your witness just to win a political argument, or will you stand boldly and play for an audience of one? “Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.” — Romans 12:21 Episode Highlights 08:40 - It's easy for me to condemn hatred when hatred is directed towards somebody I admire. The harder test comes when hatred is directed towards somebody whose worldview I strongly oppose. Do I still defend that person's humanity? Do I still condemn violence? Do I still refuse to celebrate suffering? Do I still pray? Because if my morality changes depending on which jersey somebody's wearing, I don't have morality, I have team loyalty. And Christianity is not a team sport. 27:14 - I'd rather publish something truthful that not a single person reads than something destructive that goes viral. I'd rather lose followers than lose myself. I'd rather disappoint an algorithm than disappoint God, because one day I am going to stand face-to-face in that heavenly exit interview in the sky, and there ain't going to be do-overs at that point. And I am not willing to make that meeting a bad meeting for me to make you feel good. 38:20 - Politics makes a terrible religion. And when politics becomes religion, disagreement becomes heresy, opponents become demons, elections become salvation, politicians become messiahs... winning becomes righteousness, and eventually almost anything can be justified because our side is supposedly saving civilization from theirs. Episode 235: Lindsay Clancy And The Face Of Evil: When A Culture Stops Valuing Life
2026/09/18
Today, we take you inside the real story behind the Lindsay Clancy tragedy. Not just another headline. Not just another trial. Not just another parade of explanations and excuses. Three children—Cora, Dawson, Callan—gone. Lives that matter. Names you need to remember. Our world hands out sympathy for the accused, forgets the victims, and explains away evil until nothing shocks us. But on this podcast, Paul M. Neuberger refuses to sanitize, refuses to bow. He exposes the numbness, calls Christians to courage, and reminds us: Jesus is still King. Truth is still truth. Life is still sacred. What will you do when accountability collides with compassion… when darkness demands a voice? Will you speak? "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms." –Ephesians 6:12 Episode Highlights 29:32 - All of that can help us understand human behavior, but explanation and justification are not the same thing. Understanding why somebody did something doesn't automatically transform what happened into something morally acceptable. Yet sometimes I listen to our culture talk about wrongdoing and wonder whether we still believe anybody is responsible for anything anymore. 38:08 - I believe we've spent decades teaching ourselves that the value of human life can depend upon circumstances—wanted or unwanted, convenient or inconvenient, dependent or independent, inside the womb or outside the womb, healthy or disabled, productive or burdensome. And from my Christian worldview, I believe that's extraordinarily dangerous. Don't play that game. 59:36 - If calling abortion morally wrong costs me followers, good. Get out of here. Good riddance. If saying Satan is real makes somebody laugh at me, I could care less. If saying 3 murdered children deserves more cultural attention than they received makes me controversial, well then put a big fat frickin' sticker on my forehead that says controversial and I will wear it for the rest of my life with pride and honor. Episode 14: Forgiveness - The One Thing Standing Between You And Everything God Promised (Tara LaFon Gooch)
2026/09/02
Episode 14: Forgiveness - The One Thing Standing Between You And Everything God Promised (Tara LaFon Gooch) In this powerful episode, Tara LaFon Gooch, coach, author, and host of the Grasp Confidence Podcast, steps into the spotlight to tackle the question: Could forgiveness be the one thing standing between you and everything God has promised? Prepare your heart as Tara paints a raw and unfiltered picture of Christ’s example at the cross, where forgiveness flowed with no delay. If you’re ready to confront the space between your wounds and your words, this episode dares you to ask what ( who) occupies that room in your soul. Is a hidden barrier holding back your breakthrough? Don’t miss this episode—discover what happens when you close the space and let God fill the cracks with gold. "Jesus said, 'Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.' And they divided up his clothes by casting lots." –Luke 23:34 Episode Highlights 02:37 - Paul writes, do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold. That word foothold, in the original language, it means place or space. Every day you leave an offense unaddressed, it's not a quiet day. It's occupied. The enemy doesn't need you to fall apart dramatically. He only needs a vacancy. And bitterness doesn't break down the door. 04:23 - And for a long time, I left that space open. I filled it with everything else. The rehearsed conversations that never happened, the resentment, the story I kept replaying in my mind and telling myself that I was right. But something shifted. I understood that space that I was leaving open wasn't neutral. It was occupied. 09:02 - Here's a question to carry with you. Would you still need to say what you're holding onto if you knew for certain you'd never get a response that you want? If the honest answer is no, it's not a resolution driving you. It's a need to be understood, and that need can only be met by God. Forgiveness doesn't pretend that the break never happened. It releases the right to make someone pay and let God fill your space with gold.   Connect with Tara LaFon GoochWebsiteLinkedIn
Episode 234: How Candace Owens, Tucker Carlson, and Christians Turned Conspiracy Into a Golden Calf
2026/08/28
Today, we draw a line in the sand. We talk about a threat in the church so few want to name—celebrity worship. Not in Hollywood. Not in D.C. But in the church. In your pocket. In your earbuds. Candace Owens. Tucker Carlson. Names that command attention. Voices that spark outrage, controversy, clicks—voices some believers cling to tighter than Scripture. But what happens when our discernment is sold out for the dopamine hit of a viral clip? Here’s the hard truth from Paul M. Neuberger: Jesus doesn’t share His throne. Not with Candace. Not with Tucker. Not with me. You make an idol of any voice other than Christ, and you’re on dangerous ground. Are you letting a commentator shape your soul more than the Word? What happens when your feed shouts louder than your faith? Will you tear down your idols? “You shall have no other gods before me.” — Exodus 20:3 Episode Highlights 13:13 - If C-Suite for Christ ever becomes about building Paul M. Neuberger's brand or Paul M. Neuberger's platform instead of Christ's kingdom, shut the door. Unfollow us. Cancel your membership. Get out of Dodge. I'm as serious as cancer when I say this. This movement is not worth existing if Jesus isn't at the center of it. 43:03 - If political content is consuming more of your emotional energy than the gospel, if you're talking more about commentators than Christ, if you're spending more time forwarding clips than sharing scripture, then I believe something has quietly become disordered in your heart. The solution isn't censorship. The solution... is refusing to finance spiritual junk food. Every click is a vote. Every share is a recommendation. Every subscription is an investment. 54:43 - If the C-Suite for Christ podcast ever becomes more important to you than your Bible, turn me off. I'm dead serious about that. Unsubscribe to the YouTube channel, unsubscribe to the podcast, revoke your membership in C-Suite for Christ. If we ever become your idol, get rid of us. Drop us like a bad habit. Episode 233: Fauci’s Fifth: The COVID Reckoning America Refuses To Have
2026/08/25
Today, we talk about a man who became the face of a nation in crisis. Dr. Anthony Fauci. This name isn’t just a headline. It’s a lightning rod. It’s the spark in a culture of amnesia. And let’s be clear—this episode isn’t about revenge, politics, or score-settling. It’s about remembering. It’s about holding leaders accountable—publicly, biblically, unflinchingly. Because while the world says “Move on… forget the pain… ignore the cost…,” Scripture shouts, “Remember!” (Deuteronomy 8:2). Jesus is still Lord—even when truth is bulldozed, even when accountability is mocked, even when leadership tries to skate by on charisma over character. What will you do when your moment of truth arrives? Will you stand for justice or let comfort buy your silence? Buckle up, brothers and sisters. This one’s raw, real, and rooted in truth. Let’s go. Episode Highlights 07:08 - Christians should never fear examining powerful people, and I pray what we're doing on today's episode of the C-Suite for Christ podcast is a catalyst—a spark that starts a roaring fire to get other people off their duff, to stop believing everything that they're spoon-fed, and get them to hold others to a similar level of accountability. We as Christians should be the first people to do this. Scripture doesn't tell us to blindly trust authority. It says to test everything against truth. 29:30 - When fear becomes our primary compass, we often surrender freedoms, relationships, and convictions that we never imagined giving away. And looking back, I believe that's one of the deepest lessons of the entire pandemic—not simply how dangerous a virus can be, but how quickly fear can reshape an entire culture. 01:11:01 - Truth without grace becomes cruelty. Grace without truth becomes compromise. Scripture calls us to embrace both. My challenge to you today is simple. Don't allow this episode to end when you turn off your phone, close your laptop, or leave your car. Keep asking hard questions. Keep seeking truth. Keep praying for our leaders. Keep extending grace where repentance is found. And never become so comfortable that you stop caring about accountability. Connect with Paul M. Neuberger Website
Episode 232: Social Media Is Poisoning Christians—but Abandoning It Would Be Worse
2026/08/21
Today, we tackle a force that shapes every boardroom, every church, every home—social media. This isn’t a tech review. This is a battle for your soul. Paul M. Neuberger pulls no punches. He calls out the idols of likes, follows, and empty affirmation. He exposes the toxic tide of comparison, outrage, and curated lives. But he also proclaims this: Social media has become a mission field—ripe for the Gospel if you have the backbone to enter it. You’ll hear about criticism, mockery, and spiritual wounds. You’ll also hear how Christ turns tools of darkness into megaphones for His truth. Jesus is still Lord—online, offline, everywhere. So what about you? When your faith collides with the digital world, will you run, or will you rise? Buckle up. This episode is raw, real, and rooted in truth. “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind.” –Romans 12:2   Episode Highlights 27:09 - God wants to form your character. Algorithms want to capture your attention. God develops patience. Algorithms reward immediacy. God teaches contentment. Algorithms often cultivate comparison. God tells us to love our enemies. Algorithms frequently introduce us to more reasons to hate our enemies. 34:15 - I think the greater danger is that it slowly changes what we think about all day long. And over time, what captures your attention shapes your thinking. What shapes your thinking influences your decisions. Your decisions become your habits. Your habits shape your character, and your character determines the direction of your life. 49:42 - Jesus never promised his followers comfort. He promised his presence. And that changes everything. The answer isn't to panic. It's not to become angry or to retreat into the darkness. The answer is to become so deeply rooted in scripture that no algorithm can redefine your identity. Episode 231: What If Darwin Was Wrong? A Christian Case for Creation
2026/08/18
Today, it’s not about a celebrity. It’s not about the latest headline. It’s about the battle for truth in a culture obsessed with comfort—where cancel culture rules and Darwin’s theory reigns supreme. Paul M. Neuberger throws down the gauntlet on evolution versus creation. He questions not just the science—but the worldview. He challenges the narrative. He risks ridicule. He invites debate. He draws a line in the sand: “Are we accidents… or are we intentionally crafted by an Almighty God?” And for that? He may be dismissed. Laughed at. Opposed. But the truth doesn’t bow. Jesus is still Lord. The evidence still points to the Creator. So what will YOU do when the world says, “Stay quiet, Christian?” Will you stand up—or blend in? The clock is ticking. Buckle up. This one’s going to be raw, real, and rooted in truth. “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.” –Genesis 1:1 Episode Highlights 23:49 - Personally, the deeper I study the remarkable complexity of living systems, the more convinced I become that they ultimately point beyond chemistry alone. Not because science has proved God, but because the evidence continues pointing me toward an intelligent creator whose fingerprints are clearly visible all throughout the living world. 37:06 - It's a conversation about who we are, why we're here, whether our lives have objective meaning, whether good and evil truly exist, whether there's a creator to whom we are ultimately accountable. Those questions matter way more than winning an intellectual debate, and I'm not trying to do that today, because how you answer them shapes every single decision that you're going to make. 42:23 - Our God is the author of truth. We never have to fear honest investigation because genuine truth will never contradict the God who created all things. Scripture says this in Colossians 1:16-17: For in him all things were created, things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible. All things have been created through him and for him. Episode 230: COMMON SENSE ON TRIAL: Sophie Cunningham, Riley Gaines, and the Battle to Save Women’s Sports
2026/08/14
Today, we fix our eyes on a battleground far from the boardroom, but closer than you think—women’s sports. Sophie Cunningham. Remember that name. WNBA star. Competitor. But more than that—truth-teller. This woman stood firm and declared a reality our culture wants to erase: Women’s sports belong to biological women. She didn’t attack, she didn’t belittle, she simply refused to let truth be bulldozed. The cost? Headlines. Outrage. Social media mobs. Personal attacks. But make no mistake—Jesus is still Lord, even when the world shouts otherwise. God’s design doesn’t expire when society gets uncomfortable. What about you, brother? What will you do when the world demands you sit down and shut up? Will you cave—or will you stand? "Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ." –Galatians 1:10 Episode Highlights 32:58 - Courage always costs something. It always has, and believe you me, my friend, it most certainly always will. Jesus never promised his followers cultural acceptance. Instead, he promised his presence. And somewhere along the way, I think many Christians began confusing popularity with faithfulness. Those ain't the same thing, bucko. 38:05 - If Christians lose the courage to speak the truth with love, we won't simply change the conversation, we are going to surrender it. And when the church surrenders the conversation, somebody else will gladly fill the silence. The question is whether that voice will point people toward God's design or further away from it than it already has. 47:38 - Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ. That verse has become the defining verse of my own life. As I just stated, it's a constant reminder that every single Christian eventually faces a choice. We can pursue applause or we can pursue obedience. Connect with Paul M. Neuberger Website
Episode 229: THE TATE TRAP: How Counterfeit Masculinity Is Destroying Men, Women, and Civilization
2026/08/11
Today, we lock eyes with the crisis shaping our sons, our culture, our boardrooms—the masculinity crisis that Andrew Tate didn’t create, but exposed. His name is everywhere. His message is loud. Millions listen. But what are they really hearing? A counterfeit vision of manhood: power without purpose, dominance without discipleship, status without sacrifice. What does it cost? Confusion. Brokenness. A generation discipled by algorithms, not by godly men. But let’s get something clear—Jesus is still Lord. His definition of strength hasn’t changed. Bold. Humble. Servant-hearted. Cross-carrying. That’s biblical masculinity. When your moment comes—when your sons, your colleagues, your community want to know what a real man looks like—will you show them Christ? "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." –Matthew 6:33 Episode Highlights 22:58 - It takes good desires and points them toward the wrong destination. Want discipline? Good. Want confidence? Great. Want financial success? You betcha. Want to protect your family? Boy, howdy, do I ever. Those aren’t sinful desires. But when money becomes your identity, when women become your validation, when power becomes your purpose, when status becomes your god, you’ve crossed the line. The Bible has a word for that—idolatry. 29:00 - The gospel doesn’t tell a man to prove his worth. It tells him his worth was established at the cross. The gospel doesn’t tell a man to become his own savior. It tells him he desperately needs one. The gospel doesn’t glorify domination. It glorifies sacrificial love. The gospel doesn’t produce weak men. It produces redeemed men. 43:09 - The greatest man isn’t the one who accumulates the most power. He’s the one who lays down the most love. And if Christian men embrace that vision again, not only in our homes but also in our churches, businesses, schools, and communities, I truly believe with every fiber of my being that we'd witness the beginning of a cultural revival unlike anything we've seen in generations. Episode 228: Satan Doesn’t Need to Destroy the Herd—He Just Needs to Isolate You

Today’s battle isn’t flashy. It’s subtle. It’s deadly. And it’s everywhere—Isolation. Paul M. Neuberger calls out the prowling lion for what he is—a strategist, a liar, a separator. He doesn’t destroy with one strike. He corrals you, isolates you, quietly pulls you from the herd. And when you’re alone—he pounces. This episode pulls no punches. It’s a wake-up call. The world celebrates going solo—God commands us to lock shields. The herd protects. Isolation kills. Are you drifting? Are you accountable? When your moment comes, will you chase comfort or cling to Christ’s community? Lean in. Stay sharp. This one’s raw, real, rooted in truth. "Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up." –Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 Episode Highlights 10:18 - And in my opinion, one of Satan's greatest weapons is subtlety. He doesn't always tempt you with something that looks obviously destructive. Sometimes he tempts you with comfort. Sometimes he tempts you with independence. Sometimes he tempts you with offense. Sometimes he tempts you with busyness. And you may know this, but BUSY is an acronym, B-U-S-Y. Buried Under Satan's Yoke. 41:22 - And I would much rather follow a humble leader who's honest about needing Jesus than a polished leader who's convinced they no longer need anybody. Because in my opinion, the most dangerous leader isn't the one who's under attack. It's the one who believes they're too strong to be. 44:09 - He simply has to convince you to keep walking farther away from the people God intended to help you stand. So today, take one step back toward the herd. Call somebody, pray with somebody, confess something that you've been hiding, accept an invitation, join a Bible study, find accountability, reconnect with the body of Christ. Connect with Paul M. Episode 13: Deny Yourself - What Did Jesus Really Mean? (Kathleen Johnson)
2026/08/05
Today, we lock arms with Kathleen Johnson. A bold new voice in the C-Suite for Christ Speaker’s Bureau. She’s not here for lukewarm clichés. She’s not here to coddle you with soft words. She rips the lid off a topic the world hates—total surrender. No more self-reliance. No more “me first” Christianity. Kathleen exposes the root of burnout, stress, and defeat—our refusal to let the Spirit rule. It’s counter-cultural. It’s costly. Because denying your flesh, letting God be Lord, isn’t just a slogan—it’s spiritual war. The world mocks surrender. The flesh rebels against obedience. But the truth never changes. Jesus is still Lord—even when you’re tired. Even when you’re tempted to take the wheel back. So what will you do when your soul demands the driver’s seat? Will you grab control—or lay it down? Your victory, your identity, your freedom—they’re found on the altar."Then he said to them all: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me." –Luke 9:23 Episode Highlights 09:21 - It's not. It is an absolute curse. And let's make no mistake, we were dead in our transgressions and sins. And that is why the Lord spoke through the prophet Ezekiel to say, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you. This is exactly what we had to have. Why? Because our spirit was corrupt. It was beyond salvage. It had to go on the scrap heap. 12:36 - Because otherwise, it is a form of slavery. And here's a verse that we should all memorize. It is Romans 6:16. Don't you know that you're a slave to the one whom you obey, whether you're a slave to sin, which leads to death, or to obedience, which leads to righteousness? Someone who is obedient to the flesh is going to become more and more a slave to the flesh. 18:36 - Between obedience and disobedience, between freedom and slavery, from revelation knowledge, which is unlimited, and sense knowledge, which is extremely limited. This is the difference between deep intimacy with God, knowing Him, understanding Him, gazing on the beauty of the Lord, and being stuck where you feel alone.
