Why Do We Pray?
2026/10/22
Prayer is so much more than asking for things we want. When you look at the life of Jesus, you see a consistent, intentional practice of prayer. He regularly spent time to stay connected with his Father, and so should we.
Why Do We Confess?
2026/10/22
Confession is uncomfortable, so why do we do it? And if we've repented to become Christians, why do we keep doing it? The reason for confession is not to avoid losing our salvation, but to enjoy the presence of God, to be cleansed from our sins, and to walk in the light.
Why Do We Give?
2026/10/07
Christians are far more likely than other groups to give their money and time. Why is that? What about being a Christian leads us to give our tithes and offerings? In 2 Corinthians 8-9, Paul gives us a framework for cheerful, sacrificial, and blessed giving.
The Genius of Jesus - Dr. Peter Williams
2026/09/28
Jesus is without a doubt the greatest storyteller who ever lived. In his longest story, the Prodigal Son, he especially shows his genius. This story resonates in any time and any place, and every time it's told, it challenges us to come to the Father and celebrate his saving work.
Why Do We Worship?
2026/09/25
Sometimes it's important to step back and simply ask why. Why do we do the things we do? Why do Christians go to church, sing, give, show hospitality, and listen to sermons? In this first sermon, we examine the most important why: why do we worship? In Revelation 5, John enters the throne room of God, and his vision teaches us all about why we worship and what the future holds for those who give their hearts and lives to God.
Can These Dry Bones Live?
2026/09/23
The prophet Ezekiel lived through one of the worst times in Israel's history. After the exile, God took him out to a valley filled with dry bones and commanded him to prophesy. When he did, God did a miracle that showed him God was not done with his people. It teaches us the same lesson. today. Preacher: Terry Feix
Boasting in the Cross: Gal. 6:11-18
2026/09/23
In the final few verses of this letter, Paul sums up his Gospel message perfectly: I will not boast in anything except the cross of Christ. Our boast is only found in him and his finished work on the cross.
Life in the Spirit: Gal. 6:1-10
2026/09/01
In the final section of the letter, Paul turns to give some application for walking by the Spirit. What steps can we take today? From handling conflict to bearing one another's burdens, our community can be known for life in the Spirit as we follow Christ.  Preacher: Chris O'Neal
The Fruit of the Spirit: Gal. 5:16-26
2026/08/24
Walk by the Spirit, and you will not fulfill the desires of the flesh. Paul's amazing promise leads to the most famous passage in the letter: the fruit of the Spirit. These signs and qualities tell us that our lives are rooted in the Spirit and walking in God's path.
True Freedom: Gal. 5:1-15
2026/08/18
What is true freedom? Paul says we have true freedom in Christ, but it comes only through surrender. As Christians, the freest we will ever be is when we are fully submitted to Christ.
Born Again: Gal. 4:21-5:1
2026/08/18
What does it mean to be born again? In one of the more difficult passages in Galatians, Paul challenges the false teachers with who their mother is, comparing Sarah and Hagar, the law and the Gospel, and slavery and freedom. To be born again means to be a child of the promise, an heir with Christ, and a member of God's family.
Until Christ Is Formed in You: Gal. 4:12-20
2026/08/02
It's easy to see someone growing up physically, but what does it look like to grow up spiritually? The second half of Galatians is all about growing up in Christ. In this section of chapter 4, we get three first glimpses of what it means to have Christ formed in us. We follow godly examples, listen to godly leaders, and look like Christ to the world around us.
Children of God: Gal. 4:1-11
2026/07/31
Of all the blessings and privileges of the Christian life, adoption is the sweetest. God does not just forgive us and justify us; he brings us into his family as sons and daughters. In this section of Galatians, Paul describes the evidence and pleasures of having God as our Father.
The Gospel and the Law: Gal. 3:15-29
2026/07/20
One of the most difficult questions for Christians is how the Gospel and the Law go together. This isn't a new question; it's the very one they were struggling with in Galatia. Paul shows us how they fit together by zooming out and telling the whole story of Scripture. The Law is for our good and points us to our need for Christ.
Gospel Questions: Galatians 3:1-9
2026/07/09
In their time of crisis, Paul asked the Galatians some key questions to help them get back on track. This list can help us to search our hearts as well. Are you believing the gospel? Are you being changed by the gospel? Are you being blessed by the gospel?
