We pop back in-between film shoots to say hi for a short little mini! The historic Shinsekai Kokusai Gekijo is closing down! This repulsive grub hub of pink films and men skulking about for love has been a staple of Shinsekai for the last 75 years. Guy and Dave head there to pay their respects and watch LOOK INTO ME aka WIDOW'S PERVERTED HELL (1991), a usually impossible-to-see Hisayasu Sato film. This one needs an extra content warning because it is disgusting. Sorry. Follow Show Me Something Wrong on Instagram and Twitter. Show Me Something Wrong theme song by JUNK!

And just like that, we're on a break again! In this episode, we discuss why we're taking a break, our highlights and lowlights of the season, and the rip-off films we didn't get the chance to feature.  We hope you've enjoyed the season. In Season 2 of Show Me Something Wrong, we're focusing on rip offs, unofficial sequels, and wrong adaptations! To wrap up this season of the pod, Dave shows Guy MIZERY from 2023, directed by Daddy Love. This gender-swapped version of Stephen King classic MISERY is a true Tubi trip to hell, replete with a complete lack of foley, incomprehensible plotting, and fumbled lines left in the edit. Dave tries to make sense of who Daddy Love is, and we discover that this not only rips off just one film, but also M. Night Shyamalan's SPLIT. What a dumb way to finish off a very dumb season. In Season 2 of Show Me Something Wrong, we're focusing on rip offs, unofficial sequels, and wrong adaptations! In this episode, Guy unfortunately shows Dave JUNKO from 2017. JUNKO is a retelling of the horrifying Junko Furuta concrete-encased high school girl murder case... from India. Yes, you read that correctly... INDIA. From long baffling tangents to impromptu musical numbers, this is undoubtedly the most rotten film we've covered this season, leaving us both in a fit of inconsolable rage. Get ready for a lot of rants and Guy's grim unpacking of all previous Junko Furuta movies. We're so sorry.  Follow Show Me Something Wrong on Instagram and Twitter. In Season 2 of Show Me Something Wrong, we're focusing on rip offs, unofficial sequels, and wrong adaptations! In this episode, Dave shows Guy TITUS ANDRONICUS from 1998... or 1999... a Shakespearean adaptation shot on video in a warehouse in Tampa, Florida. This episode has been in the works for a long time with Dave digging through defunct websites and hunting down cast members. So much mad stuff is uncovered. Connections to strip club kings. Exploding pig corpses. Sets painted with... well... just listen!  Follow Show Me Something Wrong on Instagram and Twitter. Show Me Something Wrong theme song by JUNK!

In Season 2 of Show Me Something Wrong, we're focusing on rip offs, unofficial sequels, and wrong adaptations! In this episode, Guy shows Dave DIABOLICAL INHERITANCE aka HERENCIA DIABÓLICA aka MEXICAN CHILD'S PLAY, a Mexican killer doll movie from 1994. This lethargic outing doesn't have that much in common with film it's supposedly a "rip-off" of, but it does feature the "world's smallest actor" dressed up as a very upsetting looking clown with a silly hat. Also featured: a strange tangent at a demented funfair, excruciating slow-motion murder sequences, and a boy named Roy.   Follow Show Me Something Wrong on Instagram and Twitter. In Season 2 of Show Me Something Wrong, we're focusing on rip offs, unofficial sequels, and wrong adaptations! In this episode, Dave shows Guy GUMS, a 70s porno parody of JAWS that destroys every braincell it comes in contact with. To say that this film is cooked is an understatement. This is a relentless barrage of puppets, giant floating members, horrific sex scenes, and blow-up dolls... all told in a state of rapid fire mania. This is not the film you think it is!       Follow Show Me Something Wrong on Instagram and Twitter. Show Me Something Wrong theme song by JUNK!

Guy had a wonderful week and shares it with Dave in this cheeky little amuse-bouche. Topics covered here: Shozin Fukui's PINOCCHIO 964 cinema run, the future of METAL DAYS, Yumika Hayashi screenings, the DVD release of Hisayasu Sato's DISTORTED SENSE OF TOUCH, and signing someone's pipe. Enjoy! Follow Show Me Something Wrong on Instagram. Show Me Something Wrong theme song by JUNK!

In Season 2 of Show Me Something Wrong, we're focusing on rip offs, unofficial sequels, and wrong adaptations! In this episode, Guy shows Dave ROH aka SPIRIT, an Indonesia HELLRAISER rip-off from 1989. This truly is a blow-by-blow recreation of the original horror classic, only with added colourful goo, moustaches, and floppy fake dead bodies. With a film this thin, prepare for some of our most baffling tangents ever. Who knew we had so much to say about fish?      Follow Show Me Something Wrong on Instagram and Twitter. In Season 2 of Show Me Something Wrong, we're focusing on rip offs, unofficial sequels, and wrong adaptations! In this episode, Dave shows Guy BACH KE ZARA aka BOLLYWOOD EVIL DEAD. Yep, two EVIL DEAD rip-offs in a row! It's from 2008... or 2006... long story. And it is, of course, from India. BOLLYWOOD EVIL DEAD has had a profound effect on Dave over the last decade and a bit, playing on his mind regularly and warping his understanding of the word "rascal". Just listen to the ep and SHUT UP, YOU RASCAL!       Follow Show Me Something Wrong on Instagram and Twitter. Show Me Something Wrong theme song by JUNK!

In Season 2 of Show Me Something Wrong, we're focusing on rip offs, unofficial sequels, and wrong adaptations! In this episode, Guy shows Dave BLOODY MUSCLE BODY BUILDER FROM HELL, perhaps better known as THE JAPANESE EVIL DEAD. It's from 1995 (kind of), directed by and starring musclebound hunk Shinichi Fukazawa. This film is a true work of love, and its incredibly drawn out making of is a testament to Fukazawa's endurance and dedication. One of our more heartwarming episodes!       Follow Show Me Something Wrong on Instagram and Twitter. Show Me Something Wrong theme song by JUNK!

In Season 2 of Show Me Something Wrong, we're focusing on rip offs, unofficial sequels, and wrong adaptations! In this episode, Dave shows Guy LADY TERMINATOR from 1988 — Indonesia's take on THE TERMINATOR with added lasers, black magic, eels, ripped off willies, madcap effects work, and lengthy musical tangents. This is a wildly entertaining film... and the tales behind its creation are equally wild!       Follow Show Me Something Wrong on Instagram and Twitter. Show Me Something Wrong theme song by JUNK!

We're finally back! In Season 2 of Show Me Something Wrong, we're focusing on rip offs, unofficial sequels and wrong adaptations. In this episode, Guy shows Dave HOMOTI from 1987 — a film that lies somewhere between Turkish soap opera and a (maybe?) progressive LGBTQ+ rendition of E.T. THE EXTRA TERRESTRIAL. Regardless of what genre you put it in, it is most certainly a goddamn nightmare as its titular alien, Homoti, shoves his paper mache fingers into mouths and eyeballs and struggles to walk with his distressingly huge butt flopping about. This is a rough one, guys...    Follow Show Me Something Wrong on Instagram and Twitter. Show Me Something Wrong theme song by JUNK!

We're finally letting you know why we took a break from the podcast—we made a movie! (To be fair, if you follow our socials, that's old news.) In this mini-episode, we discuss the production of our found footage mockumentary: THE UNSOLVED LOVE HOTEL MURDER CASE INCIDENT. A film starring Guy and Dave, shot in Japan, in an abandoned love hotel! It was a wild fast-paced shoot that genuinely left us terrified. We also discuss the future of Show Me Something Wrong! The film is currently up for pre-sale on Indiegogo! Follow Show Me Something Wrong on Instagram and Twitter. Show Me Something Wrong theme song by JUNK!

In case you didn't listen to the last episode... don't worry. We're not gone. We're just having a little rest. We'll be back with more nonsense soon.
