Alright, history buffs and music fanatics, let's fire up the DeLorean and punch in "Summer of '85." The year is 2025, and we're looking back exactly 40 years to a time when mid-July meant blazing sun, sandy toes, and car stereos absolutely blaring. And what was on those stereos, you ask? A trio of albums that were practically stapled to every boombox and walkman: Kix's Midnight Dynamite, Rush's Power Windows, and Saxon's Innocence is No Excuse. Now, four decades later, a burning question arises: were these albums genuinely good, timeless masterpieces that deserve their place in the rock 'n' roll hall of fame? Or, were we perhaps just a little too "hydrated" on those '85 beach days to truly discern musical genius from… well, good vibes?
