#82 - Redefining Self Through Motherhood
2025/12/29
There is no denying that motherhood changes you — not just your schedule, but your identity, your priorities, your nervous system, and the way you move through the world.
In today’s episode, I’m joined by my dear friend Jessica for a deeply honest conversation about motherhood — the invisible load, the constant decision-making, the overstimulation, and the quiet questioning of whether you’re doing any of it “right.”
We talk about:• How your identity shifts after becoming a mother• Navigating other people’s opinions about how you parent• The mental load we’re never warned about• Redefining self-care in this season• Learning to slow down without guilt• Releasing the all-or-nothing mindset to move the needle forward
This conversation is a reminder that even while caring for others, your needs still matter. And that sometimes the most supportive thing we can do is loosen expectations and meet ourselves where we are.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, touched out, unsure, or quietly carrying more than you let on — this episode is for you.

Some previously undisclosed BTS of my ED
How I spent $200k on food
My journey to finding authenticity by coaching weight loss
Starting a cleaning company
Things I've been feeling shame around lately
Also mentioned in the episode:

#77 - Food Noise & How To Quiet It
2024/07/29
Can you relate:
You're constantly thinking about what you're going to eat, how much, at what time, whether or not it's the "right" thing, too much, how it's going to impact your weight.
You're always doing math in your head about how many calories, carbs, protein, etc. is in your food.
You feel bad if you eat "junk food" and immediately go to work planning how you'll get back "on track"
The list of food noise experiences goes on. But these are a few of the most common.
Food noise is no stranger in my life, and it's taken me time and lots of intention to quiet it, but I want you to know that it is possible to not have food run the show.
In the episode, we chat about:
What food noise is
Why we experience it
How diets & weight loss make it worse
3 tools to help you quiet it (plus one bonus)
Also mentioned in the episode:
Kelly's episode
Leslie's episode
Intuitive Eating Study

2024/06/10

2024/04/22
Sherri Wright-Schwietz - my new (self-proclaimed) bestie joins me on today's episode! Sherri is a 51 year old Calgarian, a VP for ATP wealth, a mama, lover of humans and fellow diet culture rebel.

Sherri's childhood imprints of what a woman's body "should" look like
The loss of two organs in the pursuit of thinness

#71 - The 4 Step Blueprint for Letting Go with Divorce Coach Jaime Morgan
2024/04/08
Jaime Morgan joins me today to share about a new layer of healing untouched on the LYN podcast - healing from the loss of interpersonal romantic relationships.
Jaime and I met at a networking event where we connected over our histories of struggling with food. I was so curious to hear more about her line of work, and how certain challenges (particularly control) manifest in both romantic relationships and relationships with food.
We chat about:
Why we try to control our relationships & relationship outcomes
The connection between controlling her relationship and Jaime's eating disorders
How she healed after the divorce from her spouse of 15 years
The biggest barriers that hold people back from finding all forms of healing
Jaime's signature 4 step blueprint to letting go
So often we think of our relationships with others as independent from our relationships with ourselves, but the healing goes hand-in-hand and looks very similar so for those of you on any healing journey - body image, food, self-love, divorce, etc. - this episode will feel like such a warm hug!
