Good News, The Story of Jesus Christ | Bro. Bill Newton | Episode 216
2026/10/02
The Gospel of Jesus Christ is still the Good News.
In Episode 216 of He’s Not Done Yet, Bro. Billy McDougal is joined by Bro. Bill Newton, who shares a powerful message about the Gospel, the New Birth, and the saving and keeping power of Jesus Christ.
Bro. Newton received the Holy Ghost and was baptized in Jesus’ name at just 12 years old. Now, after 60 years of living for God, he shares a testimony of what it means to be kept by the power of God.
Throughout this episode, Bro. Newton walks through the biblical story of mankind’s need for a Savior and the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. He speaks about repentance, baptism in Jesus’ name, receiving the Holy Ghost, and the new life that comes through Jesus.
He also has an important message for the next generation: you don’t have to experience the world to appreciate what you have in God. He is a keeping God.
There is hope. There is salvation. There is new life.

2026/09/18
In memory of Sis. Dee Edwards, we are honored to share again Episode 130 of He’s Not Done Yet, “Focusing on the Good.”
Sis. Edwards shares her journey of faith—from receiving the Holy Ghost and finding her way back to God, to discovering what she called “the flow” through prayer, fasting, giving, the Word of God, and serving others.
Throughout her testimony, she shares stories of God’s provision and miracles, her years of ministry, her work with women in prison, and her desire to make a difference for the Kingdom of God.
Her message begins with a simple decision that takes on even greater meaning as we remember her life:
“A lot happens in that amount of time, and a lot of good and a lot of bad. But I don’t wanna focus on the bad. I wanna focus on the good.”
And near the end, she shares one of her greatest prayers:
“Lord, don’t let this die with me.”
Today, we honor the memory of Sis. Dee Edwards by sharing her testimony once again. May it encourage each of us to keep praying, keep serving, keep giving—and keep focusing on the good.

A Commitment to Excellence Through The Power of The Holy Ghost | Bro. Seth Pomeroy (Episode 213)
2026/09/11
What does it mean to have an excellent spirit?
In Episode 213 of He’s Not Done Yet, Bro. Billy McDougal is joined by Bro. Seth Pomeroy for a powerful message about pursuing excellence—not through human strength alone, but through the power of the Holy Ghost.
Using Daniel as an example, Bro. Pomeroy explores what set him apart: his commitment, consecration, prayer life, and the excellent spirit that was within him. He then takes us throughout Scripture to show the transforming power of being filled with the Holy Ghost and the importance of staying full.
The Holy Ghost gives us power to overcome, helps us bear the right fruit, strengthens our faith, gives us direction, and enables us to live beyond the limitations of our own flesh.
As Bro. Pomeroy shares:
“There is a level of excellence, a level of power, that will come through first receiving the baptism of the Holy Ghost, and then learning to walk in it.”
Whether you’ve experienced the baptism of the Holy Ghost or you’re hearing about it for the first time, this episode is an invitation to go deeper with God, strengthen your prayer life, and commit yourself to excellence through His Spirit.
Scripture references include: Daniel 1 & 6, Acts 1–2, Acts 10, Acts 19, Galatians 5, Romans 8, and 1 John 4:4.

A Prodigal’s Path | Bro. Kevin Willis | Episode 212
2026/09/04
What happens after the prison doors open?
Bro. Kevin Willis has spent years involved in prison ministry, witnessing incredible revival—hundreds baptized, many receiving the Holy Ghost, lives transformed, and people experiencing the power of God.
But Bro. Willis has also witnessed another reality: for many men and women, getting out of prison is only the beginning of another difficult journey.
In this episode of He’s Not Done Yet, Bro. Willis shares firsthand experiences from prison ministry and the burden that grew as he watched people struggle to rebuild their lives after incarceration. From finding employment and stable housing to escaping destructive environments, the obstacles can leave people feeling as though there is no light at the end of the tunnel.
That burden eventually led to A Prodigal’s Path.
Bro. Willis shares the vision behind this new nonprofit and its planned two-year residential program for women coming out of incarceration—a different approach focused on changing culture, rebuilding lives, restoring hope, and creating a genuine path forward.
He also discusses the work of Nobody Like Jesus Ministries, the incredible doors opening to reach incarcerated individuals across the country, and the exciting developments already underway for A Prodigal’s Path.
This episode contains difficult stories, powerful testimonies, and an important reminder: there is more to someone’s story than where they’ve been.

Every Good and Perfect Gift Comes From The Lord | Sis. Candy Holmes | Episode 211
2026/08/28
Sometimes it takes a while to discover the place God has prepared for you.
Sis. Candy Holmes joins Bro. Billy McDougal to share her testimony of how prayer, fasting, and a seemingly temporary opportunity led her to a calling that would shape decades of her life.
After nearly 30 different jobs, Sis. Candy began working at Calvary Academy in 1999 with what was supposed to be a six-week substitute teaching position. She had no idea that God was leading her into a place of purpose where she would teach, serve, lead, and impact generations of students and families.
Through the laughter, memories, and stories of the people who helped her along the way, Sis. Candy shares a simple truth she has seen proven again and again:
“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above…” — James 1:17 KJV
We should work hard, set goals, and pursue what God has placed before us—but some of life’s greatest blessings are things we could never have planned for ourselves.
In Episode 211 of He’s Not Done Yet, be encouraged by a testimony of finding your place, trusting God’s direction, and recognizing the good and perfect gifts He has placed throughout your life.
Being Influenced by the Right People | Bro. Josh Alvarado | Episode 210
2026/08/21
Who you allow to influence you can change the direction of your life.
In Episode 210 of He’s Not Done Yet, Bro. Josh Alvarado shares his testimony of how surrounding himself with the right people helped change the direction of his walk with God.
There was a season when Josh was attending church but wasn’t praying, fasting, reading God’s Word, or pursuing God the way he knew he should. He found himself around the wrong influences and slowly becoming spiritually disconnected.
But things began to change when he started spending time with people who challenged him to become better.
Young people who prayed. Godly men who encouraged him. Mentors who prayed with him, corrected him, invested in him, and demonstrated what it looked like to serve God faithfully.
Those influences helped Josh move from simply attending church to actively pursuing God—praying, serving, participating in outreach, joining the Ambassador program, working with the tech team, and asking God, “What can I do more for You?”
Josh also shares an important truth: influence goes far beyond our friendships. The music we listen to, the things we watch, the books we read, the content on our phones, and the voices we consistently listen to can all influence us for good or for bad.
“Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.” — 1 Corinthians 15:33 KJV
This episode challenges us to examine the influences in our own lives:
Who are you surrounding yourself with? Are they helping you become who God has called you to be? And what kind of influence are you having on the people around you?
Your circle matters. Your influences matter. And He’s Not Done Yet.
Every Life Has a Purpose | Sis. Denise Perez | Episode 209
2026/08/14
Every life has a purpose—even when pain makes that purpose difficult to see.
In this episode of He’s Not Done Yet, Sis. Denise Perez shares her deeply personal testimony of faith, loss, grief, and discovering that God still had a purpose for her life.
After losing her son, Leighton, Sis. Perez entered one of the darkest seasons she had ever faced. For nearly two years, she found herself simply going through the motions. She continued going to church and work, but behind the scenes, she was struggling with grief, questions, and the feeling that the life and purpose she once knew were gone.
Then something began to change.
Through prayer, fasting, the Word of God, and a renewed commitment to seek Him, God began reminding her that her story wasn’t over. The pain she had endured could become a way to reach and encourage others who were hurting.
Today, Sis. Perez helps others navigate loss through Strength In The Journey, a grief class born in part from her own experience and her desire to help others find hope through their darkest seasons.
Throughout her testimony, Sis. Perez speaks honestly about questioning God, battling the thoughts that came with grief, and ultimately coming back to a truth she could stand on: God is still good, and He has not failed her.
Her story is a powerful reminder that pain does not erase purpose. Sometimes the very thing we never imagined we would have to walk through becomes part of how God uses our lives to reach someone else.
Every life has a purpose—and He’s Not Done Yet.
