#137 - There’s More to Life Than Striving and Achievement w/ Meghan Gifford
2026/08/04
This week, I'm joined by Meghan Gifford - a private guide to founders, visionaries, and leaders who spent a decade in boardrooms working on billion-dollar deals before walking away at the peak of her career.
Meghan opens up about her "gold star girl" (the achievement-driven identity she built from childhood) and the moment she realized that all the striving, perfectionism, and control wasn't actually leading to the feeling she was chasing. We talk about what it looks like to loosen the grip without everything falling apart, how to tell whether your choices are coming from fear or from your wise inner self, and the tiny moments of trust that slowly build a different way of living.
This conversation is for anyone who's ever tied their worth to their achievements and is curious about what exists on the other side ❣️

#136 - Expanding Your Capacity for Joy with Taylor Welch
2026/07/21
This week, I'm joined by Taylor Welch: a yoga teacher, breathwork facilitator, and coach who blends sacred wisdom with modern science to guide women back to their wholeness.
Taylor opens up about the 30-day joy experiment she gave herself after realizing that joy felt genuinely unsafe in her body, and what happened when she decided to let joy lead her decisions instead. We talk about why so many of us are wired to orient toward pain, what gets in the way of actually receiving joy, and the small everyday practices that can start to bring it back💓

#135 - How to Shift Out of an Emotional Funk
2026/07/07
In this week’s episode, I'm getting real about the emotional funk I've been in lately and the framework that helped me start to shift out of it.
I'm walking you through the Emotional Triad, a tool that looks at three things that impact our emotional state: our physiology, what we're focused on, and what we're making things mean. I share what this has looked like in my own life recently and the small shifts that have already started to make a difference.
This isn't about fixing your emotions, it's about learning to work with them❣️

#134 - Getting What You Want Requires Audacity w/ Kira Mathews
2026/06/23
This week, I'm joined by Kira Matthews - coach, speaker, and the creator of Pitch School. She helps people unlock their most confident selves so they can go after the dreams they once thought were impossible.
We dig into the inner critic and how it shows up to keep us small, why asking for what we want is so often harder than it should be, and how reframing rejection can completely shift the way we move through life.
This conversation is a reminder that audacity doesn't have to be loud or extreme, sometimes it can be found in doing the little things that we've been putting off❣️

#133 - Healing Anxiety Beyond Talk Therapy with Tori Lutz
2026/06/09
This week, I'm joined by Tori Lutz, a spinal energetics practitioner and a transformational mindset & somatic coach who spent two decades in talk therapy before discovering that healing her anxiety required getting out of her head and into her body.
We talk about why so many of us get stuck intellectualizing our experiences, what it actually means to "feel it to heal it," and the difference between identifying as an anxious person versus simply having moments of anxiety (a shift that has been completely transformative for both of us).
This conversation is for anyone who has ever felt like they *know* all the things but nothing is actually changing - and is ready to explore a different way in 🤍

#132 - Do I Still Have Relationship Anxiety? (My Honest Answer)
2026/05/19
Welcome back!!! 💓 It feels really meaningful to be here again after taking some time away.
In this episode, I’m sharing a bit of a life and identity update: what’s been shifting for me over the past year, why I stepped away from the podcast for a period of time, and the honest answer to a question I’ve been getting a lot lately:
Do I still experience relationship anxiety?
The answer surprised me… and it might surprise you too.
In this conversation, I open up about what it actually looks like for me to still have moments of anxiety, while no longer identifying as someone who has relationship anxiety. I talk about the difference between experiencing anxious thoughts and being defined by them, and how my relationship to those moments has completely changed over time.

#130 - I didn't realize how often I stuffed down my real feelings until now...
2025/09/23
In this video, I share the 3 patterns I realized were holding me back, and how I’ve been working to reset them during Week 4 of The Artist’s Way (which, let’s be honest, took me way more than a week to get through… 😅).If you’ve been feeling stuck, disconnected from yourself, or just in need of a reset, I hope these reflections give you ideas for ways to reconnect and move forward (even when you don’t have it all figured out).

#129 - Navigating shame and criticism in healthier ways
2025/09/16
I’m back for a (slightly delayed) recap of the Artist’s Way Chapter 3 - Recovering a Sense of Power. And to get your power back, Julia Cameron talks about bouncing back from feeling shame (unworthy, I am doing something bad or wrong, I am embarrassed of myself) and bouncing back from criticism (especially when the criticism is not helpful and leads to feeling more shame or ickiness!)—both topics I found SO helpful, especially this week.Later in the video, I get honest about my own feelings of shame this week, my aha moment about some criticism I received this week, and share how daily morning pages + my artist date went this week!Things mentioned in this video:

#128 - To Feel More Fulfilled, We Must Release Skepticism and Self-Doubt
2025/09/09
Week two explores self-doubt and skepticism as big blocks to living a more creative + fulfilling life, the dangers of surrounding ourselves with people who don’t support our vision, the importance of paying attention to your life to make space for more delight, and gives advice for how to feel proud of ourselves as artists (or people who are healing + growing).I also share my serendipitous story from my Artist Date this week!Thank you for being here!Things mentioned in this video:

#127 - Why We Stay Blocked (Even When We Say We Want Change)
2025/09/02
I’m back with a recap of Week 1 of The Artist’s Way sharing my key takeaways that go far beyond creativity. This isn’t a book summary, it’s sharing what was most helpful for me because I imagine it will also be helpful for you, too!Week one dips into creating a sense of inner safety (for our inner artists, but also for general life), why we stay blocked even when we say we want to change), the importance of letting ourselves be a beginner (and suck at things), and how to be on our own team instead of self-sabotaging.Stick around to the end where I share my honest review of doing daily morning pages, and what I did for my first ‘Artist Date’ this week!I hope this video encourages you wherever you are in your own creative or personal growth journey + I am rooting for youuuu.Things mentioned in the episode:

2025/08/26
After 5 years of building You Love and You Learn and focusing primarily on relationship anxiety... I’m feeling a pull I can’t ignore any longer! A pull to expand and share other parts of my life outside of feeling anxious in my relationship. More about joy, creativity, self-trust, and how to live a full life. This is the start of a new series where I'll take you behind the scenes as I explore what it means to evolve in my business and on social media (without burning everything to the ground!!)I'm starting The Artist’s Way in the hopes it will help me get out of the creative block I've been feeling (aka - resistance to try something new!). #124 - The Love You Give Becomes the Love You Get
2025/07/01
This episode is an open-hearted reflection on what the quote “The love I give becomes the love I get” brought up for me, and how it inspired the creation of a new July 7-Day Challenge inside the You Love and You Learn Patreon community. It’s a gentle reminder that even in overwhelming times, connection can be built through small acts of kindness and intention.
Whether you join the challenge or not, I hope this conversation helps you feel more connected to yourself, to those around you, and to the version of you that wants to show up with more love.

#123 - Letting Go of Who You Think You “Should” Be with Mollie Birney
2025/06/17
In this episode, I’m joined by Clinical Life Coach & Consultant and former therapist Mollie Birney to discuss the role identity plays in all aspects of our lives. We talk about why letting go of the labels we put on ourselves is often the scariest (and most freeing) thing we can do. Molly shares her personal journey from licensed therapist to coach, the concept of “freedom work,” and how we can stop trying to fix ourselves and instead be in relationship with the parts of us we’ve tried to avoid.
