Description

We all think and talk about what we’ll do someday, but what if that someday could start right now? If there’s a change you want to make in yourself, in your life, or an idea that you have that you want to make real … this podcast is for you. After 20 years leading and coaching innovators, Certified Coach Marie McDonald is breaking down how great change-makers think so you can do what they do and take your ideas out of your head and into the world where they belong. We’ll teach you how to stop trying to get other people to like you and your ideas, and how to be your own biggest fan instead. You’ll learn how to ditch the drama and have fun with failure, to stop taking things personally, and to get out of anxiety and into decisive action when you don’t even know how or what you’re doing yet. Marie has used this work to go from bar tender to Vice President, to create the family of her dreams, and to start a multiple six-figure business from scratch within eight months. Whether you want to change a relationship, a habit, write a book or start a movement, it starts here on The Bloom Your Mind Podcast. Ep 161: Thinking Yourself Into Better Relationships
2026/01/30
Relationships are not actually about other people. They are about the thoughts we think about other people. And that is incredible news. Because it means that even when another person doesn’t change, even when circumstances don’t shift, even when history is complicated… you still have agency. You can change the entire emotional climate of a relationship by changing the way you think, feel, and show up inside of it. In this episode, we explore why it only takes one person in a relationship shifting their inner world to transform the dynamic between two people. And we walk through exactly how that works at the level of thoughts, emotions, nervous system, behavior, and connection. You’ll learn why: Thoughts create our body language, tone, and the emotional safety or distance in our relationshipsHow all of that becomes contagious in relationshipWe break down how negative thought loops become self-fulfilling propheciesHow those thoughts quietly shape our body language and the other person’s subconscious response to usHow thoughts gather more evidence that looks like them. How people who believe they are liked tend to be more likableCouples who believe their relationship is special tend to create relationships that actually areTake responsibility for your side of the streetPractical tools for cleaning up our side of the street in relationships, so that we have have more love, connection and joyRelationships are everything, and you have far more power in them than you were ever taught. Ep 160: Out of Negativity
2026/01/23
We love the romantic idea of inspiration striking. The muse arrives. The energy shifts. We suddenly feel like creating, reaching out, working out, having the hard conversation, writing the email, going on the date, taking the leap. But real artists, real writers, real leaders, real change-makers, and the people who actually achieve the big dreams they’re cooking up know the truth:  You don’t wait to feel like doing the thing.  You get yourself to the place where you can do the thing by shifting your emotional state. Painters go to the studio even after brutal critiques.  Writers sit down and write even when the page feels dead.  We don’t wait to “feel like” exercising, sending the email, or putting ourselves out there. We move first, and the feeling follows. In this episode, we apply that same principle to something even more powerful: your emotional state. So many of us unconsciously believe we’re supposed to feel good naturally—and that something has gone wrong if we don’t. But the human experience is 50/50. Half joy, half struggle. Add in our brain’s negativity bias and environmental stressors, and it makes perfect sense that we don’t wake up in a great emotional place every day. The problem isn’t feeling negative. The problem is waiting for it to change on its own. What You’ll Learn in This Episode Why waiting to feel motivated, confident, connected, or calm keeps us stuckHow emotions become habitual neural patterns that replay automaticallyWhy unshifted emotions run our behavior and leak into our relationshipsHow negativity becomes contagious through tone, body language, and energyHow small emotional states snowball into full-blown emotional climates (the “rings of a tree” effect)Real examples from coaching: body image, relationships, anxiety, self-doubt, and morning emotional statesThe Core Skill: Emotional Shifting Instead of letting your emotional state dictate your actions, you learn to: Notice and accept what you’re feelingObserve the thoughts creating the feelingLet the emotion move through your body without judging itIntentionally shift into a state that better supports how you want to live and leadWe explore tools like: Thought tradingEnvironmental shiftsMovement and nervous system resetsIn-the-moment “thought prophecies”Looking for what you like instead of what you fearAsking, “How could the opposite be true?” (Byron Katie style)Building a daily “emotional warm-up” practice that trains your brain like a muscleBecause when you learn to shift your emotional state, three powerful things happen:  You stop repeating old patterns.  You stop acting from emotions you didn’t choose.  You stop unconsciously spreading the very energy you don’t want to live in. You don’t wait for the clouds to part.  You learn how to move the weather. Ep 159: How I Built a Million Dollar Business
2026/01/19
Lately, I’ve been getting the same question over and over: How did you become so successful, so fast? And when people ask that, they usually mean the numbers. Yes, I left a career in the innovation field, started my own coaching and leadership practice, and made $360K in my first year. Four years later, it’s a million-dollar business. But the real success wasn’t financial. The real success was this:  Creating a vision for a whole new version of my career and myself…  Diving in headfirst off a high dive…  Committing fully, going deep, moving fast, and never looking back. I had never owned a business before. I had always been a leader inside organizations. So from the outside, it looked like an anomaly. But from the inside, it was the result of very specific inner and outer work. In this episode, I walk you through exactly what made the difference. What You’ll Learn in This Episode Why belief is everything. Just like my son picking up a guitar and declaring, “I’m a guitarist,” the people who move quickly are the ones who allow themselves to be who they are becoming before they have proof. How to clean up the mind. Our thoughts create our emotions, our actions, our results—and then we collect evidence to prove whatever we already believe. To build a new future, we have to deliberately change the belief system, not just the behavior. Why your energy is your most precious resource. Your time, focus, and life force are not free. When you stop leaking energy in every direction and start investing it intentionally, everything accelerates. How to work with the subconscious. The brain filters out opportunities that don’t match what it believes is possible. Through visualization, emotional processing, and unconscious reprogramming, you train your nervous system to recognize the future you’re creating as “safe” and “real.” Why you must be willing to feel anything. Fear, doubt, cringe, imposter syndrome—none of these are problems when you know how to feel them without letting them stop you. How to use the same process innovators use. Vision. Iteration. Obstacle strategy. Milestones. Aligned daily action. A simple, regenerative system that turns ideas into reality. Why community changes everything. Being in rooms with high-level, high-vibration women leaders raises your nervous system, your standards, your belief in what’s possible. You rise to the level of the room. This is the exact recipe I’ve used to: Go from burned out and broke to building a million-dollar businessCreate time freedom and deep family connectionTransform my body, my relationships, and my leadershipLive a life that includes snowy mountain days with my kids and beach strategy sessions with women CEOsIt’s also the exact work I teach inside the Moxie Mastermind. Because the world needs women leaders right now. There is no more waiting. And I am all-in on helping women rise. So I’ve made my journey from burned out to blissed out, the thing I’m doing to help other women, teaching the three steps I took to get here.  How to connect with Marie: On the Web | The Local Bloom Instagram: @the.bloom.coach All Things Marie on LinkTree JOIN THE BLOOM ROOM! Ep 158: Finding Your Mentors
2026/01/09
We start the year—or a new chapter of life or a new project—with a vision. We know what we want to create, who we want to become, and what we want to move toward next. And then…we stop there. In this episode, we talk about why having a vision isn’t enough—and the single factor that determines whether your idea actually becomes real: belief. Not surface-level optimism, but sustained belief that you can do this, even when doubt, old patterns, and blind spots show up. There is always a new way to think about how to do something. And often, we can’t see where we’re stuck in our own thinking—especially when we don’t yet have an example of the person we’re becoming. This is one of the biggest places I see people stall, particularly women leaders who are looking for models of strength rooted in feminine energy rather than burnout or hustle. In this episode, we explore how to move forward even when you can’t find “someone exactly like you” who has already done what you want to do. What You’ll Learn in This Episode Why belief—not vision—is the real differentiator between ideas that stay ideas and ideas that become realHow staying stuck often comes from unseen thought patterns, not lack of effort or talentWhy waiting for the perfect mentor can keep you frozenThree powerful ways to find mentorship when no single example existsThe Three Ways to Find Your Mentors Put yourself in rooms with women who bring out your best.  Surround yourself with people who keep your energy high, your vision alive, and your momentum moving forward.Build a mosaic of mentors.  Find multiple women who are doing different parts of what you want to do—leading, creating, parenting, speaking, building, living. Let their examples expand what feels possible.Be your own example.  The world doesn’t need a carbon copy of someone else. It needs you. The way you lead, create, love, and contribute is the mentorship someone else is looking for.You don’t have to wait for permission. You don’t have to wait for proof. You get to become the person you’ve been searching for. And if you want support doing that—working with your thought patterns, maintaining momentum, and taking aligned next actions—we’ve got you. Ep 157: Yearly Reflection — The Questions That Matter
2026/01/02
Every year, I used to get an email that stopped me in my tracks. It would land in my inbox, and I’d feel this immediate sense of clarity and groundedness. The email came from the CEO of the company I worked for at the time—a brilliant, mission-driven leader whose work focused on transforming education by building changemakers, not bubble-fillers. I respected him deeply, and when he shared best practices, I paid attention. That email contained five simple reflection questions to ask at the end of the year and the beginning of the next. I answered them every year. And when I eventually left that role, I kept the practice. Now, I record an episode like this every year to remind you to pause and reflect. And if you’re listening to this at any other time of year, here’s your permission slip: the year is a construct. Reflection works anytime. The more often you do it, the more powerful it becomes. Research consistently shows that intentional reflection increases learning, clarity, emotional regulation, and follow-through. When we pause to look back, we extract wisdom from experience instead of rushing past it—and that wisdom is one of the greatest accelerators for turning ideas into real things. Last year, I shared a set of reflection questions focused on what gave you positive and negative feelings and how you wanted to shift your priorities. This year, I went deeper with my students—and the results were profound. Reflection Questions for This Year What are you proudest of?When did you feel most alive? What did you learn?Where were you deeply true to yourself?Where—and how—did you abandon yourself? How do you want to prioritize differently moving forward? How do you want to grow? What do you most want to celebrate from 2025?I recommend saving your reflections each year. Over time, they become a powerful record of your evolution—what mattered, what shifted, and how you grew into yourself. I’ll end this episode with a final practice that is the MOST powerful I’ve found to launch you on the path you most want to walk for the year ahead.  If you want support bringing your ideas to life, join us in the Bloom Room or the Moxie Mastermind. 2026 is the year of your moxie. Ep 156: Giving Positive Feedback
2025/12/19
Most of us are much more practiced at pointing out what’s not working than naming what is. And even when we do give positive feedback, we often keep it vague: “You did great.” “That was awesome.” “Nice job.” In this episode, we explore why specific positive feedback is one of the most powerful tools we have—for leadership, parenting, relationships, teamwork, and personal growth—and why it’s so often underused. I break down how generic praise feels good in the moment but doesn’t actually help people grow, while specific feedback builds confidence, clarity, and trust. It teaches people what to keep doing, not just what to avoid. What You’ll Learn in This Episode Why the brain needs specificity to learn and repeat behaviorsThe difference between empty praise and meaningful, growth-producing feedbackHow specific positive feedback builds psychological safety and motivationWhy this skill is essential for leaders, partners, parents, and collaborators10 Simple prompts to help you look for and give feedback that actually lands and sticksReal-life applications in parenting, partnership, and team cultureWe also talk about how specific positive feedback helps counter self-doubt—both in ourselves and others. When people know exactly what they did well and why it mattered, they don’t have to guess. That clarity creates momentum. And here’s the quiet power of this practice: when you learn to give specific positive feedback outwardly, you also start doing it internally. You become better at recognizing your own progress, effort, and growth—rather than only tracking what still needs fixing. Whether it’s a colleague, a partner, a child—or yourself—this small shift can radically improve connection, confidence, and results. Ep 155: The Self-Doubt Hack
2025/12/12
Self-doubt is one of the biggest dream-killers on the planet. Not because it means anything about who we are, but because we believe it does. In Episode 155: The Self-Doubt Hack, we break down a simple, powerful three-step process to work with self-doubt in a way that stops it from derailing your ideas, your confidence, and your forward momentum. Instead of spiraling or shutting down the moment doubt pops up, you’ll learn how to meet it with clarity, curiosity, and strategy. This is a practical episode you can return to every time you feel yourself wobble. What You’ll Learn in This Episode Why self-doubt is a completely normal brain response—not a red flagThe importance of learning the language your body speaks to give you information The process of allowing your doubt without fusing with itHow to look underneath your doubt to understand what it’s protecting, what it’s afraid of, and whether any action is actually neededHow to collect intentional evidence and support building your self doubt tolerance How evidence interrupts the doubt cycle and builds new, regenerative beliefWhen to do nothing, when to do something, and how to tell the differenceWhy this process keeps your ideas alive long enough to become realSelf-doubt doesn’t disappear on its own, and it doesn’t need to. But when you know how to work with it, you stop letting it steer your behavior. You regain access to your creativity, your courage, and the version of you who takes brave, aligned action. Try the hack.  Use it this week.  And watch what shifts. Ep 154: BIG NEWS & Outthinking the Motivational Triad
2025/12/05
In Episode 154, we have some big announcements for new content, programs and courses. We’re also breaking down how to get ahead of one of the most important pieces of human wiring you’ll ever understand: the Motivational Triad. This ancient operating system—designed to help humans survive saber-toothed tigers and harsh winters—is still running the show inside our modern brains. And even though it once kept us alive, now it keeps us stuck. In today’s world, this default wiring creates a net negative in our lives. Because while it kept early humans from being eaten, it does nothing to help us build relationships, set boundaries, grow businesses, create art, change habits, or pursue dreams. This episode helps you see where the triad is running your life—and how to upshift out of it using the prefrontal cortex, the part of your brain that can plan, align actions with values, and make intentional decisions. What You’ll Learn in This Episode What the motivational triad is and why it no longer serves the life you want today. How the triad shows up in modern life through people-pleasing, overworking, scrolling, sugar, avoidance, and staying small. Why doing what’s easy often feels productive (like overworking) but is actually avoidance in disguise. How to shift from your primitive brain into your prefrontal cortex to choose aligned, intentional actions.A practical exercise to analyze your current goal through the lens of the triad—and design a plan that actually matches the outcome you want.Real examples from my students this week: parenting pressure, overwork-as-hiding, holiday family dynamics, business avoidance, and behavior patterns we all fall into.Once you identify where the triad is steering you, you can interrupt the pattern. You can decide how you want to show up and rehearse that response ahead of time—so when the moment comes, you’re already prepared. We’re getting out of the cave.  Off the couch.  Putting down the Pringles.  And building lives we’re proud of—on purpose. Ep 153: Problem Solving
2025/11/21
This week, we’re getting practical. In Episode 153: Problem Solving, I walk you through a real-life example of using multiple tools I’ve taught before on the podcast—and show you exactly how to apply them when life throws you a curveball. Here’s the setup: I’m hosting a three-day Lovefest in the desert for 80 people—an outdoor celebration that’s been months in the making. And three days before it begins, the forecast calls for…rain. Buckets of it. No indoor venues, no easy backup plan, and a lot of people flying in from all over the world. Meanwhile, I’m still working full time, parenting, and running life as usual. In this episode, I show you exactly what I did when my brain wanted to spiral into overwhelm—and how I used my problem-solving toolkit to navigate the chaos calmly, strategically, and creatively. What You’ll Learn in This Episode Why the first tool we reach for isn’t always the right one for the job.How to know which kind of problem-solving approach to use—depending on whether you’re in the emotional, strategic, or tactical phase of processing.Three categories of tools you can choose from:Mindset reset – shifting your thinking when your brain goes negative.Obstacle prediction & strategy – anticipating challenges and creating grounded plans.Emotional processing & curiosity – handling your inner experience before taking external action. The critical reminder that we never use tools and teachings against ourselves—no self-blame, no “shoulds.”Why making requests of others is often the final step, not the first one—after we’ve done our own emotional and cognitive work. How to reflect after the storm passes—so every challenge becomes a blueprint for your next success.By the end of this episode, you’ll see how these tools come together in real time—and you’ll leave with a clear map for how to move from overwhelm to empowered action, no matter what kind of problem life serves up. Ep 152: Intentional Evidence Collection
2025/11/14
Every big change, project, or dream starts the same way: with a glimmer of possibility.  A spark. A flicker. A tiny inner knowing that says, Maybe this could be real. But the second that glimmer appears, our automatic brain jumps in to challenge it. It points out everything that could go wrong. It shows us all the gaps between where we are and where we want to be. It offers scarcity thinking, worst-case scenarios, and doubt — not because we’re broken or unmotivated, but because our brains are wired to protect us from emotional risk. So how do we stay committed to the idea? How do we hold that glimmer long enough to make it real? In this episode, we explore Intentional Evidence Collection — a simple yet powerful tool for strengthening belief, sustaining commitment, and keeping your idea alive through the messy middle. What You’ll Learn in This Episode Why belief and sustained effort (not talent) are the greatest predictors of successHow your brain naturally collects evidence against your ideas — and how to reverse itThe science-backed role of visualization and future-self identity in making change happenHow to anticipate obstacles and rehearse overcoming them before they ariseThe link between thought cycles, emotional states, behavior, and results (RT Model) How to use evidence collection to fuel aligned action instead of shutting yourself down Your Invitation This Week Choose a glimmer of possibility you want to nurture. Write down every piece of evidence you can find for why it's possible. Keep adding to the list. Read it again and again. Sustained belief + sustained aligned action = your idea becomes real. Ep 151: Teaching People How to Treat Us
2025/11/07
In this episode, we talk about the powerful truth that we are constantly training people how to treat us. Not through lectures. Not through convincing or explaining. But through the boundaries we set, the behaviors we allow, and the way we show up in our own lives. Often, the patterns we feel frustrated by — being the go-to problem solver, the emotional container for everyone else, or the one who says yes more than we want — aren’t “just how things are.” They’re patterns we’ve participated in, usually because we were socialized to be helpful, agreeable, accommodating, or endlessly available. The good news? If we trained people into the pattern, we can train them out of it.  With love. With clarity. And with zero drama. What You’ll Learn in This Episode How we unintentionally teach people to expect more than we have capacity to giveWhy overgiving or overaccommodating often comes from subconscious beliefs about worthThe difference between setting a boundary and trying to control someone else’s behaviorHow to shift patterns without guilt, resentment, or emotional explosionsA simple sentence for kindly and clearly retraining expectationsHow choosing your needs doesn’t disconnect you — it creates cleaner, more honest, more loving relationshipsHow the way we talk about our ideas sometimes matters more than the ideas themselvesEvery time you say yes when you mean no, you’re training someone to believe your needs don’t matter. Every time you say no with love, you’re training someone to treat your needs as real and important. You don’t have to become someone tough or closed to set boundaries. You don’t have to push people away. You simply have to tell the truth about what works for you — and stay consistent — so the relationship can reorganize in a healthier shape. And every one of those things is true of the ideas we’re trying to make real. We are training people how to think about the things we create. We are creating reality with the words that we say and the energy we say it with.  Mentioned in this episode: Culture Code by Daniel CoyleFailure Tolerance The Bloom Room + Moxie Mastermind — where we build the internal capacity to lead our lives instead of reacting to themHow to connect with Marie: On the Web | The Local Bloom Instagram: @the.bloom.coach All Things Marie on LinkTree JOIN THE BLOOM ROOM! Ep 150: Being Original
2025/10/31
Individuality is one of the greatest freedoms of our culture—and also one of its biggest traps. The beauty of individuality is that it allows us to hear our own desires, define our own values, and express our unique contribution to the world. It fuels creativity, innovation, and self-discovery. But when the desire to be original stops us from taking action, it becomes an Achilles’ heel. In this episode, we talk about the tension between wanting to be original and wanting to be effective—and why the world needs you focused on the latter. Because when we obsess over originality, we make our ideas about us. But the truth is, it’s not about us. It’s about helping, contributing, and using our unique voices to make the world better. You’ll hear stories, metaphors, and examples—from surgeons to songwriters, from small community groups to global change movements—that illustrate this truth: the fact that you do the thing matters infinitely more than it being one of a kind. What You’ll Learn in This Episode The difference between originality (ego) and effectiveness (impact). Why your contribution matters more than how “unique” it is. How chasing originality can paralyze creativity and delay action. Why it’s more powerful to focus on helping, healing, and building than standing out.A metaphor for how our individual actions can collectively turn the tide of humanity—like a flock of birds shifting direction together. Right now, the world feels heavy to many people. That’s exactly why your contribution matters. Every positive action you take—every group you start, every song you write, every piece of art, blog, class, or community you build—helps counterbalance the negative. Your voice will land with someone that no one else’s can. Your work will reach people that no one else could reach. And when each of us focuses on being effective, we turn the whole flock toward something better—one small action at a time. Be one of the birds that turns the flock. Get your idea going. The world needs what you have to give. Ep 149: Failure Tolerance
2025/10/24
Most of us were taught that failure is bad. That if we fall short, it means something about who we are—our worth, our capability, our potential. But what if failure isn’t a problem at all? What if it’s the path to everything we want? In this episode, we unpack what I call failure tolerance—the skill of building your capacity to try, fall short, feel the feelings that come with it, and keep going anyway. Because here’s the truth: when we avoid failure, we actually fail on purpose. We choose inaction to dodge discomfort, and that turns a 50% chance of failing into a 100% guarantee. You’ll learn how to flip that pattern—how to stop avoiding failure and instead get good at it. When you do, everything changes. You stop seeing failure as evidence of your worth and start seeing it as iteration. Each “failure” becomes a puzzle piece in building something extraordinary. What You’ll Learn in This Episode Why avoiding failure is actually a form of guaranteed failure. How to expand your failure tolerance so you can take bigger risks with more freedom. The two key skills that make iteration possible (and fun):Evaluating what worked, what didn’t, and what you’ll tweak next time.Learning to feel your emotions when things don’t go as planned. Why mastering these two skills opens every door—to creativity, impact, and possibility.A behind-the-scenes look at how I do a live “retro” (retrospective) on one of my own recent attempts, breaking it down step by step so you can apply it to your own projects. We’ll also celebrate an exciting milestone: the first few women joining the Moxie Mastermind before enrollment even opened! This six-month experience is for women ready to turn one powerful idea into something real—with community, coaching, and deep transformation along the way. Because when you build failure tolerance, you stop being afraid of getting it wrong—and start building the life, business, and legacy that’s been waiting for you all along. Ep 148: Chrononormativity
2025/10/17
So many of my students reach a point in life where they’ve checked all the boxes: career, marriage, kids, home, stability. They’ve climbed every rung of the ladder they were told to climb. And then one day, they look up and think—now what? In this episode, we explore that moment of disorientation that comes after meeting all of life’s early milestones. You’ll hear why so many of us feel stuck once the path runs out, and how we can begin to build our own ladders, guided by passion, purpose, and authentic desire rather than social expectation. I’ll share how I discovered the concept of chrononormativity—the belief that our lives should follow a standard, linear timeline of education, work, marriage, kids, and retirement—and how this subtle cultural force can keep us trapped in patterns that look “successful,” but feel hollow. You’ll hear stories from my own life—dropping out of college to heal, having kids before marriage, walking away from a prestigious leadership role—to illustrate what it looks like to step outside of the “normal” timeline and into a life designed from the inside out. What You’ll Learn in This Episode What chrononormativity is and how it quietly shapes our decisions and expectations. Why so many high achievers feel lost or bored once they’ve met society’s milestones. How to recognize when you’re living by someone else’s timeline instead of your own.A powerful exercise to create your next vision from a place of wild, authentic possibility. How allowing yourself to imagine something “ridiculous” can lead to your most fulfilled and aligned life.By the end of this episode, you’ll be invited to question the rules you’ve been following—and to ask yourself where the “acceptable” timeline might be limiting what’s possible for you. Because when you trade expectation for imagination, you unlock the kind of freedom that makes your life feel worth every moment. Write your vision. Let it feel bold, maybe even a little ridiculous. Because all great ideas do—until they become real. Ep 147: Power Over, Power Under, and Power With
2025/10/10
This week’s episode dives into something we all experience but rarely talk about— embracing all of our weird social reactions. The feelings that rise up when we’re around other people: self-doubt, comparison, superiority, inferiority, grasping, withdrawing, fixing, or trying to prove ourselves. The idea for this episode came to me at a women’s retreat I attended with my daughter, led by facilitator Katie Dove, whose words always stop me in my tracks. Her insights about power dynamics and emotional patterns sparked a question I couldn’t stop thinking about: What if, instead of rejecting our social reactions, we just noticed them? When we put our ideas out into the world—when we share, create, or contribute—we inevitably encounter others, and in doing so, we also encounter ourselves. When we have an idea we really care about, we can expect our brains to do all kinds of squirmy gymnastics to avoid judgment. Today we’ll think about how to embrace that wiggly brain, and refocus it on what matters What You’ll Learn in This Episode Where our automatic social reactions—feeling superior, inferior, excluded, or judgmental come from. The difference between power over (superiority, condescension, fixing) and power under (people-pleasing, grasping, shutting down).Where you can expect power over, power under, and power with to show up in the Regenerative Design Cycle Why suppressing or acting out these reactions keeps the power dynamic stuck, looping in our own body and in our interactions with others—and what we can do instead. How to pause, notice, and allow your social reactions to move through you, so you can respond with intention instead of habit, and keep putting new ideas out there without fear that someone’s stink eye will make you throw in the towel. How this practice leads to regenerative energy—fueling authenticity, empathy, and creativity. When we stop judging our social power reactions and simply let them move through us, we regain choice. We become more empathetic, more grounded, and more aligned with our true selves. That’s when our relationships strengthen, our ideas flow, and our contributions expand. Your Invitation This Week Notice your own social reactions. When do you feel “better than”? When do you feel “less than”? What thoughts create those feelings, and how do you act from them? Just notice—without judgment. Let it all move through you, and then decide how you want to think, feel, and act. Notice your reactions to putting ideas out there. Are you afraid of what people will think? Nervous they won’t want to be a part of it? Worried they won’t think you can do it?  When you can pause your reaction and steer it where you want it to go, you become unstoppable. The world needs your ideas—and the authentic, grounded you behind them, more than ever.  Mentioned in this episode: Katie Dove — Women’s facilitator and retreat leader in San Diego How to connect with Marie: On the Web | The Local Bloom Instagram: @the.bloom.coach All Things Marie on LinkTree JOIN THE BLOOM ROOM!
