197. The Golden Rule
2026/10/22
What if being visible got easier the moment you stopped thinking about the people who’ll never buy from you? In this episode, I share what happened when cold leads started signing up for my recent webinar, and my very human brain went straight to who I’m not for and what they’d think of me.
I walk through a concept I’m talking about more and more: the golden rule. Whatever you want from your clients, you’ve gotta give it first. I also share why knowing your ideal client always comes before your marketing and your website, why believing you can get her results makes everything else possible, and what it looks like to focus on her fear instead of your own.
Grow a Thriving Practice doors are closed right now. Get on the waitlist for the next enrollment period, and if you’re ready to work together sooner, I have limited spaces open for private coaching. Click here to learn more.
What You’ll Learn from this Episode:
Why your brain focuses on the people who won’t buy, and what it costs you.
What the golden rule means for your practice, from engagement to investment.
Why getting clear on your ideal client comes before your marketing, your pricing, and your website.
How dreaming about her 2.0 version helps you show up for her.
Why believing you can get your clients results makes marketing and selling so much easier.
How to shift from your own fear to hers.
Why your visibility is an investment in her.
196. You're Not Behind
2026/10/16
What if the thing standing between you and your big goal isn’t more effort, but feeling enough right now? In this episode, I share what happened when I set a $20k revenue goal for 30 days, something I’d never done before, and found myself exhausted, telling myself I was behind.
I walk through why I’m talking openly about money on this podcast, how I find the purpose in a big goal, and the moment I realized that every time I thought “I’m behind,” I was leaving myself behind. I also share what shifted when I started practicing sufficiency, how it showed up when I said yes to a big presentation with four days’ notice, and where my revenue landed when I stopped pushing and started trusting myself.
Grow a Thriving Practice doors are closed right now, and the wins inside are rolling in. Get on the waitlist for the next enrollment period and join the movement of thriving healer entrepreneurs. Click here to join the waitlist.
What You’ll Learn from this Episode:
Why talking about money matters if you want to grow a thriving practice.
How to find purpose in a big goal by looking at its impact on the people around you.
Why you have to love and accept who you are now before chasing a big goal.
How the thought “I’m behind” can drain your energy, even when nothing else has changed.
What sufficiency is, and why it’s what actually gets you to your goal.
How sufficiency changes the way you show up on consults and say yes to opportunities.
Why you expand from enough, and reach more people just by being you.
195. [Evergreen] Leaning into Discomfort
2026/10/08
What if the discomfort you're feeling while growing your practice isn't a sign that something's gone wrong, but a sign that you're growing? In this Evergreen episode, I share why discomfort is the currency of your dreams, and why fear, self doubt, and rejection are part of the price of building something of your own.
I walk through why your brain is wired to avoid uncomfortable emotions, and how deciding ahead of time what you'll do when they show up changes everything. I also share a recent shame spiral of my own, why other people's opinions of you have nothing to do with you, and what I call the river of misery: that unsettling space between letting go of an old belief and fully believing a new one.
Grow a Thriving Practice doors are closed until 2027, but you can be the first to know when they open. Click here to join the waitlist.
What You'll Learn from this Episode:
Why growth requires emotional capacity, and why more growth means more emotional risk.
How your brain tries to protect you from discomfort, and how to anticipate it instead.
Why it's okay to pause and not take action when your nervous system is activated.
What I did when I found myself in a shame spiral, and what I didn't do.
Why other people's judgments and perceptions of you have nothing to do with you, especially if you're a people pleaser.
The idea that life is 50/50, and how it helps you stop chasing happiness.
What the river of misery is, and how to move through it with self compassion and support.
194. You Lead
2026/10/01
What if your clients aren't waiting for a better offer, but for someone to lead? In this episode, I share three moments from the last two days where practitioners figured out why their clients weren't buying, and every time, the answer had nothing to do with their clients.
I walk through what happened when a member realized her people were stuck in indecision because she was, when a massage therapist heard herself say her clients won't invest time in themselves, and when a webinar participant saw that the worthiness work was hers first. I also share the scary thing I'm doing right now, letting go of Biofield Tuning as a standalone service, and the funny moment a friend pointed out that I wasn't clear on where I'm going, right as I was writing this episode.
Doors to Grow a Thriving Practice close Saturday, October 3rd at 12pm Pacific and won't open again until 2027. Join us now for just $147/month, or save two months with the annual option at $1,470/year. Our Impact series starts Tuesday at 10am Pacific with client creation. Click here to join.
What You'll Learn from this Episode:
Why "my clients are indecisive" is often pointing back at you, and why that's good news.
How your own confusion, doubt, or pricing fears show up in your clients.
Why going first, before it feels safe, is what builds real faith in your clients.
The difference between doing your own work to get a client and doing it to be ready for one.
How to hold space for someone's worthiness until she can hold it herself.
What you gain from investing in yourself, even when you don't get the result you wanted.
Why your clients can only go as far as you're willing to go first.
193. Impact Comes First, Then Clients
2026/09/24
What if you don't need more clients to start having the impact you got into this work to have? In this episode, I share why so many practitioners are doing all the things and still nobody's booking, and why it has less to do with how much you're putting out there and more to do with what you're doing it for.
I walk through what it means to put impact first, and why the people who join my program so often tell me they've been following me for years, listening to the podcast, or reading an email that spoke to them. I also share why you don't need a big audience, a polished feed, or to be everywhere at once to have your right person find herself in your words and reach out already decided.
Join me live for my free workshop, How to Make an Impact and Attract Clients Without Chasing Them, on Wednesday, September 30th at 9am Pacific. Click here to save your spot.
What You'll Learn from this Episode:
Why "I'm doing all the things and nobody's booking" is such a common place to get stuck, and what's really underneath it.
Why waiting for clients before you have an impact keeps the whole thing backwards.
The difference between putting a lot out there and actually having an impact on someone.
Why giving real value before anyone pays you is what helps them decide.
How clarity and specificity help the right person find herself in your message.
Why quality over quantity and unpolished over perfect work better than you think.
Who you become when you stop chasing and start talking to her.
192. Success Greed Reversal
2026/09/17
What if treating your practice like a business isn't something you wait to do until you feel ready? In this episode, I share why so many wellness and energy practitioners lead with the safer identity — nurse, healer, practitioner — and why the moment you decide your practice is "just a little thing you do," you start treating it that way.
I walk through the hidden cost of what I'm calling humility, the belief that keeping your work small and personal is somehow more honoring of it. I also share why de-personalizing your business is actually the thing that frees you — to charge what you're worth, to market without apology, and to show up as the leader your clients need.
Join us now in Grow a Thriving Practice for just $147/month, or save two months with the annual option at $1,470/year. Click here to join.
What You'll Learn from this Episode:
Why we lead with the safer identity when we're in transition and what it costs us
What happens to your practice the moment you decide it's "just a little thing you do"
Why calling it a business can feel like dishonoring work that's deeply personal to you
The difference between your value as a human and the value of what you offer and why fusing those two makes charging almost impossible
What marketing and selling actually mean for practitioners, minus the charge those words carry
Why I think the belief that success equals greed is completely backwards
Three things to practice this week
191. Identity Over Habits
2026/09/01
Being good with time is who you are, not what you do.
In this episode Jillian shares the thought her coach offered her earlier this year that she's been growing into ever since: I am the asset. The first time she heard it, her old programming kicked in and it felt selfish. If you've ever struggled to put yourself first in your own business, this one is for you.
She also talks about why "I'm just lazy" and "I'm not good at time management" are never the real story, what's actually happening in your brain when you avoid the thing on your list, and how she finally sat down with her financials after putting them off for weeks.
In this episode:
Why so many of us, especially women, were never taught that we matter
What actually changes in your business when you believe you're the asset
Why your brain resists effort and why that's not a character flaw
The short-term discomfort of doing the thing vs. the long-term drain of avoiding it
How to notice resistance and create desire with your own mind
Why being good with time is an identity, not a skill
How to celebrate what you learned, whether or not you hit the goal
Doors to Grow a Thriving Practice are open through September.
This month Jillian is teaching Time Creation: how to create more time with your mind, the Intentional Planning process, time deconstruction, and time as currency. Come in now and get the replays to catch up, then join live. The sooner the better.

190. [Evergreen] Seeking Wisdom From Your Future Self
2026/08/19
When you're in the middle of confusion, overwhelm, or self-doubt, the answers can feel completely out of reach. But what if the person who already has the answers is closer than you think?
In this episode Jillian shares one of the most timeless tools she uses in her own life and with her clients — a simple but powerful mindset practice that helps you move through the moments when you feel stuck, lost, or unsure of your next step.
This is an Evergreen episode, originally recorded in February 2025 and brought back because this tool never gets old.
In this episode:
Why confusion, overwhelm, and self-doubt are so common for practitioners and what they actually mean
The mindset hack Jillian has used in her own life and coached hundreds of practitioners through
How to access the wisdom of your future self — the version of you who has already figured this out
Why this tool works even when you have no idea what the answer is yet
How to use this practice in real time when you're in the thick of a hard moment
Why your future self is one of the most powerful coaches you'll ever have access to
The core idea:
Your future self already has the answer. She's already on the other side of the confusion, the doubt, the overwhelm. She's already done the thing you're afraid you can't do. And she's available to you right now — if you're willing to get quiet enough to ask.

189. Commitment is a Daily Decision
2026/08/03
You put in effort, you get a few clients, things start to move. And then you take your foot off the gas. The clients slow down. And suddenly you're thinking this isn't working.
Sound familiar?
In this episode Jillian talks about what commitment actually looks like in a practice — not the New Year's resolution kind, but the real, daily, sometimes moment-by-moment kind. And why commitment has to come before the proof, not after.
In this episode:
The pattern Jillian sees constantly with practitioners and why it keeps them stuck
Why wanting proof before you commit is completely backwards
The difference between confidence and self-confidence and why it changes everything
Her personal story of committing to $10k months before she had any evidence it was possible
How she applied the same commitment to healing chronic pain she'd lived with for over half her life
What the first month of that commitment actually looked like, day by day
The two questions to ask yourself every time you make a commitment
The real question underneath all of it — and why it's usually what's standing between you and the thing you want
Why commitment isn't comfortable and why that's exactly the point
The key insight from this episode:
Commitment has to come before the proof, or the proof never gets the chance to show up. Most people want to see it working before they'll fully commit. But that's backwards. Self-confidence isn't trusting that the outcome will go a certain way. It's trusting yourself to handle it either way.
The two questions from this episode:
What am I saying yes to? And what am I saying no to?
Ask those every time you make a commitment. And then every day, sometimes every moment, ask: why do I keep showing up for this?

188. [Evergreen] Being Visible
2026/07/23
You became a practitioner because you have a gift to share. But if nobody knows you exist, nobody can benefit from what you do. And yet, being seen is one of the hardest things for healers and wellness practitioners to do.
This is an Evergreen episode, one worth coming back to because the content is just as relevant today as when it was first recorded.
In this episode:
The most common fears practitioners have around being visible and why they're so pervasive in the healing community
Why being seen feels vulnerable, uncomfortable, and sometimes downright terrifying
The real cost of staying hidden — to your practice, your income, and the people who need you
Why visibility isn't about ego. It's about impact.
How your fear of being seen is directly connected to the clients you're not reaching
Why the practitioners who are willing to show up imperfectly are the ones who grow
The truth this episode is built on:
The people who need your work can't find you if you're hiding. Visibility isn't about being loud or flashy or perfect. It's about being willing to be seen by the right people at the right time. And the world needs more healers who are brave enough to do that.

187. [Evergreen] How to Befriend Technology
2026/07/15
If the word "technology" makes you want to close your laptop and never open it again, this episode is for you.
Jillian hears it all the time from practitioners — the overwhelm of websites, online schedulers, email platforms, payment integrations. And the reason it feels so overwhelming usually has nothing to do with the technology itself. It has everything to do with the story you're telling yourself about it.
This is an Evergreen episode, one worth coming back to because the content is just as relevant today as when it was first recorded.
In this episode:
Why your thoughts about technology determine the quality of your relationship with it
What it really means when you say you don't have enough time to figure it out
Why hiring help can be a band-aid if you don't also learn to navigate your own tech
The value of becoming a self-reliant entrepreneur who can handle what comes up
Why technology is one of the best investments you can make in your practice
The three steps from this episode:
One. Practice new thoughts about technology. Start with something simple like "technology is here to help." Your thoughts drive your feelings, your feelings drive your actions, and your actions create your results. If you approach tech with dread and resistance, you won't take action. When you approach it with curiosity and openness, everything shifts.
Two. Focus on one thing at a time. Pick one aspect of your tech setup and learn it. Watch tutorial videos. Take it step by step. Complete one project before moving to the next. That's how you build confidence without burning out.
Three. Celebrate when you learn something new. We were so good at this as kids. As adults we beat ourselves up for not already knowing things. It takes courage to learn something new at any age. Celebrate it.

186. Why Your Money Goal Isn't the Problem
2026/07/08
You didn't become an entrepreneur to survive. You became one to thrive. And part of thriving is getting really honest about your relationship with money and the background thoughts that are working against everything you say you want.
In this episode Jillian talks about the difference between having a money goal and needing that goal to feel okay. Because those are two completely different things, and most of us have never separated them.
In this episode:
Why becoming profitable isn't just about money — it's about having the energy and resources to do your best work and live your fullest life
The money thoughts that are pervasive in the practitioner community and why they're keeping you stuck
The difference between chasing money from scarcity and pushing it away to avoid pressure — and why neither leads to a thriving practice
Why hustle is a coping strategy, not a business strategy
What it actually means to fail as an entrepreneur and why it's part of the process
The difference between having a money goal and needing it to feel okay
Why more money won't fix a broken relationship with money — and what actually does
How to use the feeling you think the money will give you as the way to get there, not the reward at the end
The key insight from this episode:
Your emotions drive your actions. If you've got thoughts about money that are creating fear, self-doubt, or constriction right now, more money is not going to fix that. You have to feel more free, more relaxed, more abundant first in order to create the money. Not the other way around.
Book mentioned in this episode:
📖 The Art of Spending Money: Simple Choices for a Richer Life by Morgan Housel — a really compelling look at the psychology behind how we spend and what we're really buying when we do.

185. From Medicine to the Mystical with Gregory Glick
2026/07/01
This one is a conversation I really loved having. I sat down with Gregory Glick, a Certified Biofield Tuning Practitioner, sound therapist, and founder of Coherence Sound Therapy, and we went deep. Into sound, frequency, mysticism, the journey back to yourself, and what it really means to say yes to the work you were meant to do.
If you're a practitioner who works with sound, energy, or frequency — or if you're just someone who knows there's something more calling you — this episode is going to resonate.
About Gregory Glick:
Gregory Glick is a Certified Biofield Tuning Practitioner, sound therapist, and founder of Coherence Sound Therapy, where he blends frequency medicine, mindfulness, and lifestyle coaching to help people calm the nervous system, restore coherence, and live more authentically.
With nearly two decades as a physician assistant in primary care including Emergency, Pediatric, Integrative, and Family Medicine, Greg brings deep clinical experience to his holistic practice. He left conventional medicine to address the root sources of dis-ease — energetics, beliefs, and lifestyle patterns — rather than only treating symptoms.
His guiding belief is that the one healer in the room is the client's own innate healing capacity. Greg's role is to be a conduit, providing a safe, supportive container for people to open into their truth, remember their own inner intelligence, and develop sustainable pathways toward health, balance, and inner stillness.
In this episode:
Greg's journey from physician assistant and Peace Corps volunteer to sound therapist and Biofield Tuning Practitioner
Mystical experiences in Mexico and how they shaped his path back to his own knowing
The gongs that changed everything — crystanium gongs and Grazioso gongs
The mysticism of sound and music and why frequency is medicine
How Greg navigated pace and sustainability — how many people you can really see in a day and still show up fully
What it means to say yes and step into the work that's calling you
The journey back to mysticism and what that looks like in a modern practice
About Coherence Sound Therapy:
Greg's practice integrates Biofield Tuning with energy medicine, sound and frequency therapies including gong baths, Himalayan bowls, tuning forks, and guided breathwork, alongside meditation and lifestyle support. He helps individuals and groups shift out of fight/flight stress into parasympathetic rest, balance, and deeper self-awareness.

Upcoming offering from Greg:
Starting late June 2026, Greg is offering a four week frequency medicine course called The Practice of Presence, Frequency and Listening. If you want to go deeper with sound and frequency work, this is a beautiful place to start.

184. It's Not Your Pricing. It's Your Energy.
2026/06/24
You became an entrepreneur for more time and more money. And instead you're exhausted, trying to get your website perfect, spinning on the right offer, chasing a strategy that never quite works. If that's you, this episode is for you.
In this episode Jillian talks about the real reason talented, capable practitioners stay stuck. It's not your pricing. It's not your offer. It's your energy, and the belief underneath it.
In this episode:
The spiral so many practitioners fall into when clients don't come in the way they expected
Why your energy is something potential clients feel, even when they can't name it
How to find the real why underneath the surface reasons you started your practice
Why confidence doesn't come after the result. It comes first.
The difference between a strategy problem and a belief problem
What it actually looks like to do belief work and how it changes everything downstream
The shift this episode is built on:
Most people think they'll feel confident once they get the result. The full schedule, the steady income. But it works the other way. Your emotions drive your actions. When you do the belief work first, you generate the emotion that fuels inspired action, and that action is what creates the result.
What working together actually looks like:
A dedicated space where nothing you bring is too much. The Becoming Framework, a five step process to building a thriving, aligned practice. Real business strategy alongside the inner work. And learning to use your mind for you instead of against you, so the results become a natural extension of who you're becoming.

183. One Client at a Time
2026/06/17
If you've ever looked at your schedule and felt the panic of needing to fill it all at once, this episode is for you. Jillian shares why "I need to fill my whole month" is one of the most paralyzing thoughts a practitioner can have and what to think instead. Smaller bites. Bigger results. One client at a time.
In this episode:
The story of a GATP member who had an amazing first part of the year, wanted things to slow down, and then panicked when they actually did
Why our brains freak out even when the slowdown is intentional
How scarcity thinking keeps you spinning instead of taking action
Why marketing from desperation lands differently than marketing from desire
The shift that changed everything for this practitioner: nothing has gone wrong
Why "one client at a time" is Jillian's answer to overwhelm across the board
What to do when you're sitting with an empty calendar and your brain is making it mean something is wrong
The key insight from this episode:
The slowdown is not a sign that something is wrong. It's an invitation to step into a new identity. One that doesn't need a full schedule to feel okay. One that trusts the process. One that takes it one client at a time and knows that is enough.
The practice:
Next time your brain goes to "I need to fill my whole schedule" — shrink it down. Who is one person who could benefit from your work right now? What is one action you can take today toward that one person? Notice what happens in your body when you shift from the big overwhelming goal to the one next right thing. That's where the momentum starts.
