Episode #134: Your Partner Can’t Complete You - Krishna Can
2026/09/21
What makes a relationship truly meaningful?Whether we’re single, dating, married, raising children or navigating friendships, relationships shape so much of our lives. But Bhakti offers a different perspective on love: rather than asking what can this relationship give me?, we can ask, how can we help one another grow closer to Krishna? In this episode, we explore love, marriage, family and parenting through the lens of Bhakti, drawing on the Bhagavad Gita and Srimad Bhagavatam. We reflect on shared spiritual purpose, selfless service, patience, forgiveness and the power of leading by example.Because when Krishna is at the centre, a relationship can become more than a partnership. It can become a pilgrimage.Produced by: Sunni Sharma and Viraj Limbachia Filmed by: Filmwork Studios Edited by: Hannah BrownWant to connect further?Instagram: www.instagram.com/radhika_dasa/Facebook: www.facebook.com/radhikadasmusicYouTube: www.youtube.com/c/RadhikaDasWebsite: www.radhikadas.comPatreon: www.patreon.com/radhikadasKomi: radhikadas.komi.io
The Meat Eater And The Temple
2026/09/07
Can you go to the temple after eating meat? What if you’ve been drinking, smoking, or simply don’t feel “pure” enough? In this episode, we explore the tension between spiritual standards and compassion. We discuss whether people need to be perfect before entering a sacred space, the difference between guilt and shame, and how genuine spiritual practice can gradually transform our habits and consciousness. Through personal stories, the teachings of Srila Prabhupada, Bhagavad Gita, and the story of the hunter Mrigari, we ask a deeper question: Should we judge people by where they are, or welcome them for where they’re trying to go? 00:00 — Can Meat Eaters Go to the Temple? 05:52 — How Bhakti Changes Us 07:19 — Intention, Awareness & Respect 10:43 — Compassion vs. Boundaries 12:40 — Guilt vs. Shame 16:13 — Responding With Kindness 20:24 — Standards Without Perfection 23:32 — Bhakti Is for Everyone 30:03 — Transformation Takes Time 40:16 — Final Reflections Produced by: Sunni Sharma and Viraj Limbachia Filmed by: Filmwork Studios Edited by: Hannah Brown Want to connect further? The Most Impactful Work You’ll Ever Do
2026/08/24
Does becoming serious about spirituality mean leaving behind your career, money, success, and responsibilities? In this episode, we explore how the Bhagavad Gita offers a different path: not escaping our work, but transforming it into an offering to Krishna. Whatever we do and whatever we offer can be offered to Him. Bhakti isn't about withdrawing from the world - it's about bringing Krishna into the world we already inhabit. Our work, wealth, talents, and success don't have to compete with spiritual life. When offered in service, even an ordinary workday can become worship. The Problem With Modern Kirtan
2026/08/10
What happens when an ancient devotional practice like Kirtan moves from intimate spaces to concert halls and huge audiences? In this episode of For Soul’s Sake, Radhika Das, Stine, and Nama explore the balance between Kirtan, performance, devotion, and accessibility. Radhika reflects on his journey from small gatherings to thousands of people, and whether Kirtan can remain a sincere offering to Krishna while being shared on a larger scale. They discuss the importance of intention, humility, music, and consciousness, the relationship between Kirtan and Japa, and what it means to enter a Kirtan space not simply to attend, but to serve. 3:12 — Taking an ancient practice to the stage 4:46 — The power of intimate Kirtan 9:42 — Making Kirtan accessible to a wider audience 13:37 — Performance vs. devotion 23:21 — Are we attending Kirtan or participating and serving? 29:42 — Kirtan and Japa 41:29 — Humility and the foundation of chanting 46:53 — Making Kirtan accessible without losing its essence 50:54 — Bonus conversations Produced by: Sunni Sharma and Viraj Limbachia Filmed by: Filmwork Studios Edited by: Hannah Brown Want to connect further? You’ve Been Eating Wrong Your Whole Life
2026/07/27
When we think of spirituality, we often think of meditation, prayer, or pilgrimage - but what if one of the most transformative spiritual practices begins in the kitchen? In this talk, we explore the Bhagavad Gita's profound teaching that food is more than nutrition. The consciousness, intention, and devotion behind how it's prepared can shape our own consciousness. Your Challenges Might Be Divine Protection
2026/06/29
We explore how life in this world is always changing - relationships, circumstances, and even our own minds—and because of that, obstacles are inevitable. The real question isn’t why they appear, but how we respond to them in a way that keeps us steady and connected to what is permanent. Drawing from teachings in Bhakti Yoga and reflections from Radhanath Swami, we look at the principle of keeping the heart fixed on the permanent while dealing with the temporary according to time, place, and circumstance. Through the life of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu, we see how even the Divine faced obstacles yet responded with purpose, compassion, and surrender. We also reflect on Haridāsa Ṭhākura, who remained steady in chanting despite criticism, showing how obstacles can become part of spiritual growth when met with the right consciousness. Ultimately, this episode invites us to see obstacles not as setbacks, but as reminders to refocus, refine our intention, and keep Krishna at the center of everything we do. 2026/06/01
What changes when Krishna becomes the center instead of ourselves? In this episode of For Soul’s Sake, we explore a foundational aspect of bhakti: not just what we see… but from where we are seeing. “Do not try to see Krishna. Live in such a way that Krishna is pleased to see you.” A reflection on humility, devotion, chanting, and what it truly means to live for Krishna’s pleasure instead of our own. If this resonated with you, share it with someone on their spiritual journey. Filmed by: Filmwork Studios Edited by: Hannah Brown Want to connect further? Krishna & the Poison Within | Radhika Das, Stine Dulong & Nāma
2026/05/18
This episode we explore Krishna subduing Kaliya from the Śrīmad Bhāgavatam - where the Yamuna is poisoned and Krishna enters it directly to purify it from within. We reflect on what “inner poison” looks like in modern life - ego, envy, habits, and conditioning - and how real transformation isn’t about avoidance, but conscious confrontation with grace. Through stories, philosophy, and reflection, we discuss how Krishna’s response shows that divine love doesn’t stay distant from chaos - it enters it, transforms it, and restores it. A conversation on bhakti, humility, inner change, and learning to see life’s challenges as purification rather than punishment. What Really Pleases Krishna? Cooperation Over Ego | SOLO Episode with Radhika Das
2026/05/04
Ego or bhakti - which one is really guiding our actions? In this episode of For Soul’s Sake, we explore a subtle but powerful question: What truly pleases Krishna? Is it achievement, recognition, and being “the best”? Or is it something deeper - like humility, sincerity, and cooperation? Drawing from the timeless wisdom of the Srimad Bhagavatam and the teachings of A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, this episode reflects on the story of Prthu Maharaja and Indra - a powerful contrast between ego-driven competition and devotion-centered cooperation. This is an invitation to reflect deeply: Where can you choose cooperation over competition? Where can you let go of ego for a higher purpose? Want to connect further? Forgiveness sounds beautiful in theory… but what happens when someone has truly hurt you? In this episode of For Soul’s Sake, we explore Prahlada’s “impossible prayer” - a level of compassion that challenges the way we see pain, justice, and healing. Through this powerful story, we reflect on what it really means to let go, move beyond the ego, and find freedom within the heart.
