Why Would I Become a Religious Sister After Leaving the Church? Sr. Phoebe's Vocation Journey
2026/09/18
Sr. Phoebe from the Daughters of St. Paul sits down with us to discuss her journey from growing up Catholic, to experiencing hurt within the Church, leaving the Church for Orthodoxy, and eventually finding herself drawn back to Catholicism. This vocation journey is one of redemption. What Satan could've used for poor, Sr. Phoebe has instead been brought to a place of faith and deep encounters with God. She shares her perspective on suffering, being with someone within their suffering, and meditating on the face of Christ within each interaction. This episode is great for the heart learning to trust in God, needing encouragement in their vocational journey, and searching for how to encounter the Lord in the day to day. Every morning, we make the same decision: what am I going to wear today? But what if getting dressed could be about so much more than simply choosing what looks good? In this episode, Mary Harper, founder and author of Liturgical Style, shares her faith journey and what led her to explore the connection between our clothing, the Liturgical Calendar, and the lives of the Saints. I’m 23 and saving s*x for marriage. Here’s why.
2026/09/04
I’m 23 years old, and I’ve been choosing to save sex for marriage for as long as I can remember. And honestly? We’re still going strong. But why? What is sex actually for? Why does God ask us to wait? In this episode, I’m sharing a talk I gave to the “Huskies for Life” group at Michigan Technological University about saving sex for marriage and navigating relationships in college. We get into why the Church asks us to wait, not just what the rules are. We talk about the goodness of the body, God’s design for relationships, making moral decisions when you’re surrounded by a culture that normalizes hookup culture, the practical reasons for saving sexual intimacy for marriage, and what it actually looks like to live this out in college. I Thought Catholicism Was Heresy (w/Elias)
2026/08/28
I met Elias in high school. At the time, he was avidly anti-Catholic. Now, five years later, he's on fire for his CATHOLIC faith. What changed? In this episode, Elias shares his journey from Protestantism, to agnostic, to becoming Catholic. All things are on the table with this conversation: learning how to forgive yourself, navigating when you feel mad at God, and what it looks like to let God love you. What I Learned at 22 that I'm Keeping at 23
2026/08/22
Graduating college, moving 1,000 miles away from home, building a new community, speaking at SEEK, and launching a speaking career... 22 was quite the year. As I step into 23, I’m taking a few lessons with me. Some I learned through prayer and some I learned the hard way. In this episode, I’m sharing the things 22 taught me about faith, trusting God, silence, contentment, and becoming the woman He’s calling me to be. 22 taught me a lot. I certainly don't have it all figured out at 23, but I'm learning that maybe the point isn't to have all the answers, it's to keep letting the Lord teach you along the way. Being Christian at America's Biggest Party School (w/Alyona)
2026/08/14
It’s easy to say that Jesus fulfills everything when you’re surrounded by people who share your faith. But what happens when your environment seems to point toward everything except virtue? In this episode, Alyona shares what it’s really like being a Christian at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, a campus known for its party and drinking culture. Rather than letting her environment pull her away from Christ, Alyona’s experience at UW–Madison has actually challenged her to grow deeper in her faith, build genuine friendships with people who don't share her beliefs, and learn how to evangelize in the middle of everyday college life. We also talk honestly about anxiety, mental health struggles, vulnerability, and faith. Alyona opens up about how some of the hardest parts of her journey have ultimately become opportunities to share the Gospel. By being honest about what she has experienced, she has discovered that vulnerability can become a powerful way to evangelize and help others recognize their own need for Jesus. If you're a college student trying to stay close to Jesus in a secular environment, or simply wondering how your own struggles could become part of God's mission, this episode is for you. That's on God's Providence (w/Shelby)
2026/08/07
Actually trusting in God is radical. Telling people to trust in God is misunderstood. And sometimes telling God you trust in Him is just a straight up lie. In this episode, Eve and Shelby discuss what God's providence really is: those moments when you don't know what it means for God to provide, or the times where you don't know if you can give God control. This SEASON EIGHT (what??!) kickoff delves into the understanding of God's providence, its representation in scripture, and the vulnerability associated with it. This is what really happens when you give God your heart, and accept His along with it. Can We Talk About Medjugorje? My Honest Experience
2026/07/03
In 1981, the Blessed Mother supposedly appeared to six children under the title "Queen of Peace" in Medjugorje. While not yet an approved Apparition Site in the Catholic Church, it is a place of pilgrimage for many Catholics seeking healing, answered prayers, and peace. Last month, I pilgrimaged to Medjugorje, and honestly, I don't quite know what to make of this experience. In this episode, I share about my experience: the honest reflections, moments of transparency, and some practical tips for visiting along the way.
