147. What If Stress Isn’t the Problem? with Dr. Alexandra Crosswell
2026/09/23
What if stress itself isn’t the problem, but never getting a chance to recover from it?
In this conversation, I’m joined by Dr. Alexandra “Daisy” Crosswell, a psychological scientist who studies how stress affects the body. We talk about why so many of us feel constantly “on,” what Daisy calls deep rest, and the small cues of safety we can weave into an ordinary day.
Daisy also shares what happened when she tried to run a research lab while raising three young children, and how that experience changed her relationship with work. We get into the choices women face around careers and motherhood, the often invisible work of running a home, and the freedom of defining success for the chapter you’re actually living.
We explore:
Why recovery matters as much as how much stress you carry
Warmth, connection, and other small invitations to rest
The space between pushing through and leaving a career altogether
The mental load at home and what it takes to share it
What it means to “solve for the now” and trust yourself with what comes next
Daisy leaves us with a beautiful reminder: we don’t have to know the whole plan. Some of the best parts of life may be the ones we never saw coming.
146. SOLO: How I’m Holding It All Without Burning Out
2026/09/02
My loves, I have some big work updates and honestly, I feel like I’m getting my spark back!
After leaving my tech startup and navigating burnout, I needed to work on my own, slow down, and create space to heal. Those boundaries served me so well. But lately, I’ve been craving something different: collaboration, in-person community, and being part of building things alongside other people.
In this solo episode, I’m sharing what that looks like—from becoming Growth Partner at The Hivery to helping my husband Raúl grow Eco Experience, alongside my coaching business and writing my book.
And with all this excitement comes a very real question: how do I make room for more while still taking good care of myself?
We’re talking about:- Finding my way back to the ambitious, excited version of myself- How joining a community opened the door to an unexpected opportunity- Recognizing my personal signs that things are becoming too much- The everyday practices helping me navigate a fuller season- A powerful question: “What is your business asking of you?”
I don’t have it all figured out. This is an honest glimpse into a season of growth, recalibration, and learning to trust myself as things change.
If you’re feeling ready for more but wondering how to do it differently this time, this one is for you! And if there’s something you’d love to hear more of on the podcast, send me a DM. I’d love to know.

145. She Left Corporate Law to Build a Different Kind of Yoga Studio with Sne Allan-Sharma
2026/08/26
After 15 years in corporate law, Sne Alan Sharma stepped away from a high-pressure career to pursue her lifelong connection to yoga and build Intarya Yoga in Mill Valley.
In this episode, we explore what the Western world often misses about yoga, why the practice is about so much more than movement, and how yoga and Ayurveda can help us better understand what our bodies need. Sne also shares how she built a business around three essential pillars—intentional movement, nourishment, and community—and why reconnecting with our authentic selves begins with self-love.
This is a beautiful conversation about career reinvention, Eastern wisdom, creating balance, and giving yourself permission to honor the life you truly want.
In this conversation, we explore:
Sne’s journey from corporate lawyer to yoga entrepreneur
The deeper meaning of yoga beyond physical exercise
How yoga and Ayurveda work together
Building a business that creates more balance instead of more burnout
Why honoring your authentic self is an act of self-love

144. SOLO: How Do You Make the Right Decision?
2026/08/19
After getting this question from a few of you, I realized that, for me, the answer comes down to one thing: self-trust.
In this episode, I’m sharing a very personal story about a decision I agonized over for months (whether or not to travel across the world for one of my best friend’s weddings). Deep down, I think I knew what I wanted to do from the beginning. But finances, fertility decisions, logistics, other people’s opinions, and fear slowly became louder than my own inner knowing.
Until one conversation made everything crystal clear.
I share:- what intuition actually feels like- how outside opinions can create confusion around something we already know- why anxiety can sometimes be a sign that we’re going against ourselves- how even making the “wrong” decision can help us strengthen our self-trust
Because becoming a better decision-maker isn’t necessarily about always making the “right” decision. It’s about building enough trust in yourself to listen when something inside of you already knows.

143. SOLO: Life Lately: Coming Home, Slowing Down & What’s on My Heart
2026/08/12
After five weeks away, I’m back behind the mic and this episode is a little life catch-up from me to you
I’m sharing some of the moments that filled my cup this summer: biking through Amsterdam, visiting the Anne Frank House, slowing down by the sea in Deauville, celebrating my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary, and soaking up time with my very big (and beautifully chaotic) family.
But coming home has also had me thinking about what travel gives us beyond the trip itself: perspective.
I’ve been reflecting on the slower, more communal way of living I experience when I’m in Europe, how working from home has changed the way so many of us connect, and why I’m craving more community and clearer boundaries between work and home in this next season.
I also share a little behind the scenes of life lately—from an unexpectedly slow workday that felt like exactly what I needed, to celebrating four years of marriage with Raúl and the questions we ask each other every anniversary.
And finally, I open up about something that’s been on my heart: how we can grow spiritually as a couple and create practices that help us feel connected to something bigger than ourselves.
In this episode, we chat about:What five weeks away reminded me about rest and perspectiveWhy travel always makes me reconsider how I want to live at homeThe European approach to community and connection I want to bring back with meMy evolving relationship with working from homeThe four questions Raúl and I asked each other on our wedding anniversaryA few books, shows, and very random life updates along the way
Consider this our coffee date after a few weeks apart. I’m so happy to be back!📲 Connect with MagaliBook a discovery call Join the Unlock Your Vitality COMMUNITYInstagramMagali's Substack
142. SOLO: I Stop Podcasting Every Summer
2026/07/01
Halfway through the year, I’m pressing pause.
In this solo episode, I share why I intentionally take a summer break from the podcast and how stepping away has become one of the most valuable practices in both my business and my life.
We often celebrate consistency, hustle, and always being "on." But what if some of our biggest breakthroughs come when we create space instead of pushing harder?
In this conversation, I explore:
Why I take a 4–5 week podcast break each year
The difference between working in your business and working on your business
Questions to ask yourself at the halfway point of the year
How intentional pauses can prevent burnout and spark creativity
Why stepping away doesn't mean you're falling behind
Whether you're an entrepreneur, creator, or simply someone who rarely gives yourself permission to slow down, this episode is an invitation to zoom out, celebrate how far you've come, and create space for what's next.

141. SOLO: Self-Trust Is Your Greatest Business Strategy
2026/06/24
Building a business isn't just about having the right strategy, it's about trusting yourself enough to take the next step.
In this solo episode, I'm sharing one of the biggest patterns I've been seeing with my coaching clients (and one I've lived through myself): the entrepreneurs who make the most progress aren't necessarily the ones with the best business plan. They're the ones who stop waiting for permission and start trusting their own voice.
We talk about why so many founders end up outsourcing their authority to courses, coaches, or social media, how comparison is often a symptom of low self-trust rather than an Instagram problem, and the simple practices that actually help you build confidence over time.
I also share stories from my own entrepreneurial journey (from building a tech startup to navigating burnout, rebuilding my career, and learning that the greatest business strategy I've ever developed wasn't another marketing funnel) it was learning to trust myself.
In this episode, we'll cover:
Why self-trust is one of the most overlooked business skills.
How to stop outsourcing your authority while still asking for support.
Why comparison is really a self-trust issue and how to move through it.
The difference between learning from others and copying someone else's path.
How to build self-trust by keeping small promises to yourself.
If you've been second-guessing yourself, overthinking your next move, or wondering whether you're doing enough, I hope this episode reminds you that the answers you're searching for may already be within you.

140. From Tech Exec to Building a Wellness Empire with Barbara Mighdoll
2026/06/10
This week on the podcast, I’m joined by entrepreneur, founder, mom, and absolute visionary Barbara Mighdoll and this conversation is so much more than business.
Barbara shares the behind-the-scenes story of leaving her successful tech career to build what is now becoming one of the Bay Area’s fastest-growing wellness brands: MNT Studio.
We talk about the courage it takes to pivot careers, building businesses while raising young kids, navigating uncertainty, creating community in a post-COVID world, and why women need spaces that support both wellness and connection.
Barbara also opens up about:
starting her side business while still working full-time
the reality of entrepreneurship behind the scenes
building with your spouse
autoimmune health and stress
why “action creates clarity”
and the power of taking pauses before making big life decisions
We also dive into the vision behind MNT Studio’s “wellness social club” model combining Pilates, co-working, childcare, sauna, and community all under one roof and why this concept is resonating so deeply right now.
This episode is incredibly inspiring for anyone dreaming of building something meaningful, making a career pivot, redefining success, or craving a more connected way of living.
If you’ve been feeling the pull toward something bigger, this conversation will leave you feeling expanded, energized, and reminded that you do not need to see the full staircase to take the next step.

139. SOLO: What If It All Works Out?
2026/06/03
This week’s solo episode is a gentle reminder that maybe, life is not working against you. Maybe it all works out!
Inspired by Outrageous Openness, I’m sharing reflections on surrender, synchronicities, burnout, nervous system healing, and what it means to loosen our grip on life long enough to actually receive.
Highlights of this episode: creating pockets of quiet in a noisy worldgratitude as the foundation of abundancesmall daily practices that reconnect us to presencelearning to ask for support from life (and actually receive it)the tiny synchronicities that reminded me things are unfolding exactly as they need toshifting from a victim mindset into becoming an active creator of your reality
This episode is part reflection, part pep talk, and part invitation to soften into the possibility that things may work out even better than you imagined.📲 Connect with MagaliBook a discovery call Join the Unlock Your Vitality COMMUNITYInstagramMagali's Substack

In this solo episode, I’m opening up about what it’s really been like building businesses alongside my husband over the last 9 years. From my startup days with atlasGO to helping grow EcoExperience, I share the beautiful parts, the messy parts, and the lessons we’ve learned about communication, boundaries, resentment, and partnership along the way.
We talk about:
What happens when “pillow talk” turns into work talk
The importance of boundaries when building with someone you love
Why resentment is often a sign we’re not listening to ourselves
Learning the difference between support, advice, and simply being heard
The rituals that help us stay connected outside of work
This episode is for anyone navigating entrepreneurship in a relationship, building something meaningful with a partner, or simply trying to create more balance between ambition, love, and real life.

137. SOLO: The 5 Questions I Get Asked Most as a Business Coach
2026/05/20
In this solo episode, I’m answering 5 of the most common questions I get asked as a holistic business coach, especially from women in the early stages of building a business or dreaming about starting one but honestly applicable to so many.
This episode is a mix of practical business advice, nervous system support, mindset shifts, and honest reflections from my own journey building both a tech startup and now a soul-led business.
We talk about the very real questions behind entrepreneurship:1. Should I quit my job and go full-time?2. How do I stay consistent without burning out?3. How do I actually get clients?4. What if I’m scared to put myself out there?5. Can you really build a successful business without hustling 24/7?
Whether you’re building a side hustle, navigating burnout, craving more freedom, or trying to figure out your next step, this episode will remind you that there’s no one “right” way to build a business.
You get to create your own version of success.

136. Building The Hivery Through Grief, Community and Starting Over with Grace Kraaijvanger
2026/05/13
In this deeply honest and moving conversation, I sit down with Grace, founder of The Hivery , to talk about entrepreneurship, grief, reinvention, community, and what it really looks like to build something meaningful through life’s hardest seasons.
You’ve heard me mention The Hivery so many times on the podcast because becoming part of this community has genuinely changed my experience of entrepreneurship and womanhood. In this episode, Grace shares the incredible story behind building The Hivery: from her early career as a professional dancer, to navigating burnout and searching for deeper meaning, to creating one of the first women-centered coworking and community spaces in the Bay Area.
But this conversation goes far beyond business. Grace vulnerably opens up about losing her mother, supporting her younger sister through terminal cancer while simultaneously expanding her business, and later losing everything she had built during the pandemic when The Hivery was forced to close its doors.
We talk about what it means to hold grief while continuing to show up for your dreams, the courage it takes to start over, and why women so deeply need spaces where they can be fully seen, supported, and human.
This episode is for anyone navigating a transition, rebuilding after loss, questioning what success really means, or craving deeper community in a world that often asks us to do it all alone.

135. SOLO: Anxiety, Accountability & Returning to Myself
2026/05/06
In this solo episode, I’m sharing a little life update of my day today! It's a mix of anxiety, intuition, self-trust, accountability and the growing tension between being and doing. After waking up anxious from a nightmare and struggling to regulate my nervous system, I found myself thinking deeply about the tools, habits, and technologies we rely on and whether they actually bring us closer to ourselves or further away.
I open up about my relationship with data tracking, fitness watches, health metrics, and the pressure to constantly optimize ourselves, especially in the wellness and entrepreneurial spaces. Inspired by a friend’s decision to stop wearing her Apple Watch, I reflect on what happened when I unintentionally stopped using my Garmin and how it actually helped me reconnect to my body, intuition, and self-trust.
I also share the new monthly accountability practice inside the Unlock Your Vitality Community, including the three focus areas I’m currently working on: writing my book, building deeper relationships in my business, and exploring Ayurvedic living.
This episode is a reminder that sometimes healing isn’t about more information, it’s about learning to trust yourself again.
In this episode, we talk about:
Navigating anxiety and nervous system regulation
The difference between being vs. doing
Why wearable data can sometimes disconnect us from intuition
Reconnecting to movement, running, and body wisdom
Accountability practices that actually feel supportive
Jennifer's article I mentioned

133. The 3 Identities That Shape Who You Are (and How You Move Through the World) With Amber Allen-Peirson
2026/04/22
In this episode, I’m joined by Amber Allen-Peirson (aka Clarity), a creative, educator, and storyteller whose work deeply moved me when I experienced her workshop in our coworking community.
We dive into a powerful framework she teaches around the three identities we all carry—and how understanding them can completely shift the way you see yourself, your relationships, and the world around you.
This conversation is an invitation to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with who you are beneath everything you’ve been told to be.
We explore:
The difference between your 3 identities: self-identified, assigned, and projected identities
Why feeling misunderstood might actually be a doorway to deeper self-trust
How to navigate other people’s perceptions of you without losing yourself
The role of projection in judgment, triggers, and emotional reactions
Why burnout, anxiety, and breakdowns can be powerful catalysts for coming back to yourself
How to strengthen your inner voice in a world constantly telling you who to be
