197| The Truth You Keep Avoiding Is Trying to Bring You Home with Michelle Hillier
2026/10/29
What if the changes you’ve been avoiding are the very things that bring you back to yourself? In this episode of Dropped IN, I’m joined by Michelle Hillier, founder of Awaken Your Flame, to explore what it means to listen to your truth, even when it asks you to make uncomfortable changes. Michelle shares her journey to sobriety, the life experiences that forced her to stop overriding herself, and how reconnecting with her body changed the way she lives and works. We talk about the stories we tell ourselves, the masks we wear to keep others happy, and the freedom that comes when we stop performing and start listening. Because sometimes, the work isn’t about becoming someone new. It’s about returning to who you’ve always been. 195 | Trust Your Body with Lisa Pepper-Satkin
2026/10/15
What if the patterns holding you back were once the very things you developed to protect yourself? In today’s episode, Meghan sits down with Lisa Pepper-Satkin, licensed psychotherapist, integrated therapeutic coach, and certified Dare to Lead facilitator, to explore the connection between the body, the nervous system, and the patterns that shape how we show up in life. Lisa shares how her work helps people recognize their inner bully, understand self-protection versus self-sabotage, and reconnect with their own inner wisdom. They explore how to recognize a full-body yes or no, get curious about what the nervous system is communicating, and learn to stop overriding our needs just to keep everyone else comfortable. They also dive into burnout, over giving, the impact of unrecognized grief, and why we don't always need to feel better right away. Sometimes, we simply need permission to feel what we're feeling. 194 | The Hidden Cost of High Performance: Stress, Burnout & Leadership
2026/10/08
In this episode of Dropped In, Meghan Weir shares a powerful conversation from a recent Capacity Advantage executive leadership retreat, where one leader's comment about needing to turn on their "superpowers" opened a deeper discussion about the difference between authentic leadership and armouring up. Because looking composed on the outside doesn't always mean your nervous system feels safe on the inside. Meghan explores how chronic stress, protective patterns, and high-performance conditioning can shape our leadership identity, and why expanding nervous system capacity goes far beyond learning how to regulate. Inside this episode: The difference between armouring up and accessing your actual leadership superpowers. Why high-functioning doesn't always mean you're thriving. How nervous system activation influences leadership, decision-making, and emotional responses. The hidden cost of building your identity around being the person who can handle everything. Why your capacity for pressure may be different from your capacity for success, visibility, and wealth. How The Capacity Advantage moves beyond nervous system regulation to expand your ability to respond with greater flexibility. Why developing capacity might mean learning how to carry less. The question at the heart of this episode: When you say you have enormous capacity, are you describing what you can consciously hold, or what you've learned to silently endure? If you're a founder, entrepreneur, executive, or high-achieving leader who has mastered the art of holding everything together, this conversation will challenge what you believe about resilience and sustainable success. Because the next evolution of your leadership may require you to put down the very armour that got you here. You can handle a lot. But what's it costing you? 193 | Become the CEO of Your Health with Margaret Wallis-Duffy
2026/10/01
What happens when you stop ignoring the whispers from your body and start listening? In this powerful conversation, Meghan sits down with Margaret Wallis-Duffy, founder of Wallace for Wellness, and the visionary behind Preventative Health Awareness Month. Margaret shares her deeply personal journey with endometriosis, being dismissed and gaslit for years, and ultimately learning to trust her own body and advocate for herself. That experience became the foundation for a much bigger mission: helping people become the CEO of their own health. Together, Meghan and Margaret talk about why prevention matters, the “opportunity gap” between being healthy and reaching a diagnosis, the importance of curiosity, self-advocacy, nervous system regulation, community, and why we need to stop waiting until our bodies completely break down before we pay attention. Margaret also shares her vision for the future of preventative healthcare, the Preventative Health Awareness Movement, her upcoming health hub, and why collaboration over competition is at the heart of everything she does. 192 | How to Know When It’s Time to Let Something Go
2026/09/24
What if your capacity isn't measured by how much you can continue to tolerate? In this episode of Dropped In, Meghan shares a very real-life lesson in nervous system capacity after the backend platform supporting her business began falling apart. What initially looked like a technology problem became a much bigger realization about stress, decision-making, energy, and the hidden cost of constantly compensating for something that isn't working. She explores why capacity isn't about becoming someone who never gets stressed or overwhelmed. It's about maintaining access to yourself when stress happens, having enough flexibility to recognize what's happening, make decisions, ask for support, change direction, and recover. Sometimes capacity means holding more. And sometimes it means finally saying, "Nope. This isn't working anymore." Inside this episode:The difference between regulation and capacityWhy chronic problems can become invisible energy leaksHow your environment can contribute to hesitation and stucknessWhy not every block is a limiting beliefWhat stress can reveal about your capacityWhy capacity isn't the same as enduranceBuilding capacity before you know exactly what you'll need it forHow success, growth, money, visibility, and leadership create new demandsRecognizing when you're compensating for something that isn't workingWhy greater capacity also requires greater discernmentThe question to ask: What could become available if I stopped using my capacity to compensate for this? You don't need to build a bigger life by becoming better at overriding yourself. The goal is to have greater capacity to actually experience the life you're building. 191 | From Confusion to Clarity with Alex Street
2026/09/17
What if the story you keep trying to figure out is actually the thing that makes you uniquely powerful? Alex Street returns to Dropped In for a conversation about storytelling, confidence, finding clarity, and what happens when someone finally sees something in you that you couldn't yet see in yourself. Alex shares the story of discovering his own zone of genius during a mastermind in 2020, when one simple comment shifted the way he saw himself and his work. From there, we dive into the power of a simple story arc, moving from who I was, through what happened, to who I am now. We also explore why storytelling matters more than ever in the age of AI, why humans will always connect to lived experience and emotion, and how your "one clear story" can become the thread that runs through your business, your message, your speaking, and your impact. Inside this episode:The moment Alex realized he was forcing the wrong businessWhat it feels like to finally be seen in your zone of geniusWhy storytelling is about transformation, not simply recounting what happenedThe simple story arc: from there to hereHow to find your own "one clear story"Why public speaking can bring up fears of rejection, inadequacy, and not belongingCreating a safe space to practice before stepping onto a bigger stageWhy storytelling still matters in the age of AIThe difference between information and lived experienceThe power of entering rooms asking, "What can I give here?"Why being invited back can be its own powerful moment of being seenA message of hope for anyone who feels confused, stuck, or ready to quit Alex's reminder is simple: you have done hard things before. Your story already contains evidence of what you've overcome. And maybe you're not as far from clarity as you think. Sometimes you just need to look back and notice how far you've already come. Alex Street believes your story is your superpower. From performing on stage as an actor to spending 15 years as a pastor, he’s seen firsthand how the spoken word can move people to action. Now, as a Speaker & Storytelling Coach, and author of StoryArc, he helps impact-driven leaders craft authentic messages that create unforgettable brands. 190| The Window of Tolerance: What It Actually Tells Us About Stress & Capacity
2026/09/10
“Nervous system regulation” has become one of the biggest conversations online. And somewhere along the way, regulation started getting confused with being calm. That’s not how your nervous system works. In this episode of Dropped In, Meghan Weir explores the Window of Tolerance, a framework Dr. Dan Siegel developed to understand how much emotional and physiological activation we can experience while maintaining access to connection, awareness, and choice. Your nervous system is designed to respond to what’s happening around you. Activation is part of being human. Stress is part of being human. The question isn’t whether your nervous system becomes activated. It’s what happens to your capacity as that activation increases. Meg breaks down what can happen above the Window of Tolerance, often described as hyperarousal, where the system may move toward increased sympathetic activation. This can show up as anxiety, urgency, agitation, hypervigilance, racing thoughts, or increased drive. She also explores what can happen below the window, often described as hypoarousal, where energy and engagement decrease. This may show up as shutdown, numbness, disconnection, fatigue, or difficulty initiating action. Neither state tells the whole story about a person. And neither should automatically be labelled as “dysregulation.” The Window of Tolerance is also dynamic. Sleep, cumulative stress, relationships, environment, perceived safety, past experiences, and available resources can all influence how much activation we can handle in a given moment. This is where the conversation shifts from trying to constantly “regulate your nervous system” to understanding nervous system capacity. The work isn’t about manufacturing calm. It’s about increasing your ability to notice activation, stay connected to your body, and have greater access to choice as intensity changes. Especially at the edges. Meg also challenges some of the language currently circulating in the coaching and wellness industries, including the assumption that an intense somatic or emotional experience automatically means meaningful nervous system change has occurred. You’ll finish the episode with a simple body-based practice for noticing sensation and activation without immediately trying to make it disappear. And Meg introduces The Capacity Advantage™, her forthcoming digital program exploring nervous system capacity and what it means to expand what you can sustainably hold in life, leadership, and business. 189 | Can You Hold the Success You’re Creating?
2026/09/03
What if the hardest part of success isn't creating it, but holding it? In this solo episode of Dropped In, Meghan explores the often-overlooked relationship between success, stress, and nervous system capacity. Because while we spend so much time talking about how to reach the next level, we rarely talk about what happens inside our bodies once we actually get there. More money. More visibility. Bigger opportunities. Greater leadership. These are the things we say we want, but they also create more demand. And when our nervous system isn't familiar with that level of demand, even something wonderful can create activation. Meghan explores why high performers sometimes struggle to receive their own success, recreate problems when things are going well, or immediately chase the next goal instead of allowing themselves to actually experience the win. 188 | The Capacity Gap: Why Knowing More Isn't the Answer
2026/08/27
You already know what needs to happen next in your business. The conversation you've been avoiding. The decision you've been postponing. The visibility you've been craving but resisting. The strategy you've spent countless hours learning but still haven't fully implemented. So what's really getting in the way? In this solo episode of Dropped In, we explore the hidden space between what you intellectually know you're capable of and what your nervous system currently has the capacity to hold. This is what I call the Capacity Gap. Rather than treating every challenge as an information problem, this episode invites you to consider a different possibility: what if you don't need another strategy, course, or certification? What if the real work is expanding your capacity to hold the growth, visibility, responsibility, and success you've been asking for? Whether you're building a business, leading a team, or stepping into a bigger version of yourself, this conversation will help you understand why execution often breaks down and what it actually takes to create sustainable expansion. 187 | Close the Tabs: Reclaiming Your Capacity
2026/08/20
What if the thing draining your energy isn't your workload, but all the decisions you haven't finished making? In this solo episode of Dropped In, Meghan dives into decision fatigue and the hidden impact of unresolved decisions, unfinished conversations, and commitments that are sitting in the background of your mind. Using the metaphor of having dozens of open browser tabs, Meghan explores how these "open loops" quietly consume your attention and reduce your available capacity. She also explains why the answer isn't always to do less. Sometimes, we need to close the tabs, and sometimes we need to build the capacity to hold more. In this episode, Meghan explores: How unresolved decisions quietly consume your capacityWhy decision fatigue can make simple tasks feel overwhelmingThe connection between open loops, attention, and your nervous systemWhy capacity isn't about making your life smallerHow to recognize what needs closure versus what requires greater capacityWhy reclaiming existing energy can be more powerful than trying to create moreHow decision fatigue can become a leadership bottleneck as your business growsA simple journaling exercise to identify your "open tabs" Your next level will ask more of you. The goal isn't to eliminate every demand. It's to develop the capacity to meet those demands without losing access to yourself. And maybe it's time to close a few damn tabs. 186 | The Power of Prevention with Tatianna Graham
2026/08/13
What if your body has been whispering to you long before it ever starts screaming? In this episode of Dropped In, Meghan sits down with Tatianna Graham, a physiotherapist, yoga teacher, and online mind-body coach who is passionate about preventative health and helping people reconnect with their bodies before pain, injury, or burnout forces them to stop. Tatianna shares how her 15+ years as a physiotherapist, combined with her personal journey through yoga, motherhood, running, and injury, shaped her approach to health. What began as yoga to stay active during pregnancy eventually became an anchor for stillness, mindfulness, and nervous system regulation. Her philosophy is simple but powerful: don't wait until your body breaks down before you start listening to it. Tatianna also opens up about a significant hip injury that forced her to recognize the difference between knowing how to listen to your body and actually embodying that practice. Through breath, awareness, movement, and attention, she began rebuilding her relationship with her body and ultimately returned to the activities she loves. Tatianna Graham is a physiotherapist, yoga teacher, MindBody coach, and host of The Move With Ease Podcast. She helps women reconnect with their bodies through a unique blend of physiotherapy, mindful movement, breathwork, and deep core retraining. Inspired by her own journey through injury, motherhood, marathon running, and midlife, Tatianna's work is rooted in one simple belief: our bodies are always communicating with us, and when we learn to listen, we unlock greater strength, resilience, and ease. 3 Foundational Shifts  https://pages.tatiannagraham.com/3foundationalshifts-951772 One Core Secret (everyone needs to know) https://pages.tatiannagraham.com/onecoresecret The Move With Ease Podcast www.tatiannagraham.com Instagram @tatiannagrahaminc Email [email protected] Join The Capacity Advantage Waitlist HERE Grab the free Capacity Code Magazine HERE. 185 | Stay at the Table
2026/08/06
In today’s episode, Meghan shares a simple experience at a wedding that became a powerful lesson in nervous system regulation, leadership, and the unexpected opportunities that unfold when we stop resisting what is and start getting curious. After discovering she and her husband had been seated away from the people they knew, Meghan noticed her mind immediately trying to rewrite the situation. But instead of resisting, she chose curiosity—and that single shift led to an unexpected conversation with the leadership team of a large organization, opening the door to a potential corporate partnership. This episode is a reminder that our greatest opportunities often don't arrive wrapped in perfect plans. They arrive disguised as inconveniences, unexpected conversations, and moments we never would have chosen ourselves. 184 | Breaking Cycles, Reclaiming Power & Finding Hope in Recovery with Jen McCutcheon
2026/07/30
In today’s conversation, Meghan sits down with Jen McCutcheon, founder of Enable No More: Take Back Your Power, spiritual recovery coach, pattern disruptor, and advocate for families impacted by addiction and mental health challenges. Together, they explore the deeper layers of recovery, healing, trauma, and personal transformation. Drawing from over 25 years of lived experience supporting loved ones through addiction, Jen shares how her son's journey became the catalyst for her own awakening. What began as a search for answers evolved into a mission to help others break generational cycles, reclaim their power, and reconnect with their authentic selves. This conversation dives into the often-overlooked emotional, spiritual, and energetic dimensions of recovery. Jen discusses the importance of healing at the root, the ripple effect of personal transformation, and why true lasting change begins within. You'll also hear the powerful and miraculous story of her son Jared's recent recovery following a near-fatal relapse, and how a service dog named Charlie is becoming part of his healing journey. Whether you're navigating addiction, supporting someone you love, healing from trauma, or simply looking to reconnect with yourself, this episode offers hope, perspective, and a reminder that you are never alone. Jen McCutcheon is the founder of Enable No More, speaker, podcast host, author and subconscious pattern educator focused on helping people disrupt survival patterns that impact mental health, behaviour, burnout, addiction, relationships, and self-leadership. Drawing from lived experience and training in NLP, hypnosis, spiritual psychology, breathwork, yoga, trauma-informed recovery, and nervous system regulation, Jen bridges awareness, prevention, and personal transformation to help individuals and communities move beyond survival mode and reclaim their personal power.  Connect with Jen: Website https://enablenomore.ca/ Moms On A Mission https://enablenomore.ca/moms-on-a-mission Jared's Go Fund Me Link https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-me-reclaim-my-life-life-through-a-service-dog Grab the free Capacity Code Magazine HERE.
