Jazzy’s Picks: Learning to Love Yourself with Liza Lomax
2026/10/12
Episode DescriptionJennie is off getting married, so Jazzy is taking over the podcast feed for October and bringing back four of the Badass Direct Sales Mastery episodes that have meant the most to her personally. And few episodes came into Jazzy's life at a more important time than this conversation with Liza Lomax. Shortly before this episode aired, Jazzy had undergone brain surgery and had to shave half of her head. She hated the way she looked, was struggling with depression, and wondered whether she would ever feel like herself again. This episode challenged her to turn some of the love she so freely gave other people toward herself. What started with saying three simple words in the mirror eventually helped change the way Jazzy saw herself. 💜 Show Jennie Some Wedding Love! Want to give Jennie a wedding gift that costs nothing? Vote for Jennie here: tophost.org/2026/jennie-bellinger 💍  The Top Three Things Jazzy Learned From Liza Lomax1. Loving yourself deserves to be a priority. It's easy to pour love, attention, and energy into everyone around you while leaving very little for yourself. 2. How you see yourself can change. The person looking back at you in the mirror deserves the same kindness and compassion you would give someone you love. 3. Self-love takes practice. You don't necessarily believe the words the first time you say them. Sometimes you have to practice treating yourself with love before you begin to truly feel it. How Jazzy Implemented the Lessons in This EpisodeJazzy started looking at herself in the mirror and saying: “I love you.” At first, those words didn't necessarily match how she felt. But she kept saying them. Eventually, they became true. And there's a pretty incredible ending to that story: today, Jazzy still keeps her head shaved—but now it's because she wants to. The thing she once hated about her appearance became something she loves and considers part of who she is. Jazzy's Favorite Quote“In order to love anybody else, in order to take care of any other person around ourselves, we need to take care of ourself first." - Liza Lomax
Jazzy’s Picks: Stop Bullying Yourself with Bruce Langford
2026/10/07
Episode DescriptionWhile Jennie is busy getting married, Jazzy—the woman working behind the scenes to help make Badass Direct Sales Mastery happen—is taking over the podcast feed! Throughout October, Jazzy is bringing back four episodes that made a lasting impact on her life. First up is Bruce Langford. This episode helped Jazzy recognize something most of us don't think about often enough: sometimes the biggest bully in our lives is the voice inside our own heads. Bruce's lessons on mindfulness, gratitude, meditation, and paying attention to your internal dialogue didn't just stick with Jazzy—she actually put them into practice. Years later, some of those lessons are still part of her daily life.   💜 Show Jennie Some Wedding Love! Want to give Jennie a wedding gift that costs nothing? Vote for her to become the next Top Host! You can cast one free vote every day—so let’s keep the wedding love coming! Vote for Jennie here: tophost.org/2026/jennie-bellinger 💍  The Top Three Things Jazzy Learned From Bruce Langford1. Pay attention to how you talk to yourself.Negative self-talk can become so normal that we don't even recognize we're doing it. Learning to notice those thoughts is the first step toward changing them. 2. Mindfulness can interrupt the cycle.Instead of automatically believing every negative thought that enters your mind, mindfulness gives you an opportunity to recognize it, slow down, and respond differently. 3. Start your day with gratitude.Taking time to intentionally recognize the good in your life can completely change the way you approach your day. How Jazzy Implemented the Lessons in This EpisodeJazzy didn't just listen to Bruce and move on. She signed up for the seven-day trial Bruce offered and used it to learn how to meditate. She also began keeping a gratitude journal every morning—a practice she continues and credits with changing her life. The episode also reinforced something else she tries to practice regularly: looking for small opportunities to help other people, whether that's through her time, money, skills, or services. Jazzy's Favorite Quote“What's happening in your mind? What are you saying to yourself? What are you allowing yourself to think about yourself?” — Bruce Langford
Badass Rewind with Jill Ludington: Making A Difference With Love
2026/09/28
In this episode, Jennie and Jill discuss: The “why” that got Jill into direct sales and the decision to take it seriously as a business that spurred her success. Getting beyond the soft market of family and friends and finding a team who are interested in their own success and willing to do the work it takes. The blessings and surprises from focusing more on service than sales during COVID-19.   The importance of taking advantage of opportunities for training and growth for yourself and your team. Key Takeaways: Being grounded in your “why” helps keep you focused and drives your path to success. Someone out there wants and or needs what you are selling, don’t get stuck on the ones who don’t. Providing customer service that goes above and beyond brings rewards on not just a monetary level, but also on a deeper level of connection and purpose. Success requires consistency and constant striving to grow and improve. "The biggest thing that I have told myself through all this is that I've got to give myself grace. And I also have to trust my ability in what I do as a consultant and a human being and providing excellent customer service. And again, going back to my why, which is helping people within and beyond the walls of my home. And as long as I'm staying true to that objective, and staying true to me, I know that this is all going to come back and come back to me whether it's monetarily or not." —  Jill LudingtonAbout Jill Ludington: I am passionate about helping others feel confident and loved in their own skin. I help others just BE YOU through empowering with education and knowledge in theatre, open and affirming the LGBT+ community, and skincare. Badass Rewind with Donnie Boivin: From Chump To Champ
2026/09/21
In this episode, Jennie and Donnie discuss: How Donnie walked away from a huge salary at a multi-million dollar company to follow his own dreams. Figuring out how to switch from operating as an employee to operating as a business owner. How being a guest on a podcast started a chain reaction that changed everything. Accepting the inevitability of things going wrong, and learning and growing from it Key Takeaways: Follow your own dreams, not someone else’s! It’s your business, you are the one who needs to lay all the groundwork. Shit is gonna break, you just have to figure it out and keep going. Have a vision bigger than yourself. Fight as if you don’t care if you live or die. Step into your fear. "If something's good It's the f*****g universe saying go that damn direction. Because it's not about overcoming the fear. It's about who the f**k you become going through it. Yeah, it's about evolving into the next level yourself. And that's probably the biggest lesson I've learned in running a business." —  Donnie BoivinGet your free training video by texting “I am a success champion“ to Donnie at 817-318-6030   About Donnie Boivin: About Donnie Boivin: An award-winning professional sales trainer, top-200 iTunes podcaster, Marine Corp veteran, and owner of his profitable Success Champions business, you better be ready for the badassery that is Donnie Boivin.  Donnie, fresh out of the Marine Corps, learned what it took to be successful in sales, business and life over two incredible decades of experience. Badass Rewind with McKinley Oswald: The Tech You've Been Wishing For
2026/09/14
In this episode, Jennie and McKinley discuss: An essential companion for business Technology should be easy  Gamifying to create habits  Connecting to your team Key Takeaways: Technology has been business leaders’ constant companion, it’s a great tool for training and communications. Growing your business will mean that you embrace growing technologies.  New technology shouldn’t have to require a Ph.D. to operate, it has to be approachable and easily operable for it to be effective.  Gamifying difficult or repetitive tasks is a good way to create and sustain good habits.  Being connected to your team, being present in their milestones, and following up on each new success is essential on growing your team and your business as a whole "The tools had to do the work… they allow the individual to become the messenger and not have to be the message." —  McKinley Oswald   About McKinley Oswald: For the past 25 years, McKinley Oswald has been heavily involved in working with direct sales companies and industry leaders to help them achieve success. His full-time contributions at Verb began after graduating from the University of Utah in 1998 when he became involved in the culture and direction of Sound Concepts (the company that was acquired by Verb in 2019). Although it originally started with kit assembly and cassette duplication, the company has now progressed far beyond that to offer a diverse lineup of sales-enablement tools and marketing services on the Verb digital platform. Badass Rewind with Mark Victor Hansen: ASK to GET
2026/09/07
In this episode, Jennie and Mark Victor discuss: The story behind their written book about asking Increasing your network of contacts The effective way of asking Supporting a cause through your business Key Takeaways: There is no harm in asking. Learning and practicing the art of asking can help you turn your dreams into reality. To keep your network of contacts growing, you must first figure out what you want and who you're going to talk to, then visualize the story of showing your intention as well as your expectation of a positive response from them. You have to ask yourself, ask others, and ask God. Asking yourself positive questions will yield positive results.  Support charities or social causes that are close to your heart. Giving back not only helps you grow your business, but it also touches the lives of others, inspiring them to do the same and make a difference. "Everybody's got a destiny code from the minute you were born. Your job is to find it." – Mark Victor Hansen About Mark Victor Hansen:  Along with business partner Jack Canfield, Hansen is best known for creating what Time magazine called “the publishing phenomenon of the decade”. Chicken Soup for the Soul books is one of the most successful publishing franchises in the world today, with more than 500 million books sold internationally and more than 100 licensed products. The name “Chicken Soup” was chosen because of the use of chicken soup as a home remedy for the sick. The first Chicken Soup book, published by Health Communications, Inc., sold more than 2 million copies. There are now over 500 million copies in print and in 54 languages worldwide. In 2004 Hansen was inducted into the Sales & Marketing Executive International’s Hall of Fame, receiving the Ambassador of Free Enterprise award. He also received the 2004 Visionary Philanthropist for Youth Award by Covenant House of CA. In 2002 The University of Toledo presented Hansen with an Honorary Ph.D. in Business Administration and established the Mark Victor Hansen Entrepreneurial Excellence Fund that will help shape the minds of future business leaders and assist in the development of the faculty who will teach them. In 2000 The Horatio Alger Association of Distinguished Americans honored Hansen with the prestigious Horatio Alger Award as an American leader who personifies the virtues and principles inherent in the success stories written by nineteenth-century American author Horatio Alger Jr. In 2000 Northwood University honored Hansen as the Outstanding Business Leader of the Year. Badass Rewind with Luisa Cunha: I Just Started Sharing It With My Friends
2026/08/10
About Luisa Cunha: She is a therapist and she specializes in Aromatherapy. She gives training with Aromatherapy for all women who want to find their physical, emotional, and spiritual balance through essential oils. In this episode, Jennie and Luisa discuss: Developing new skills by learning from others All businesses have bad days What to do when you feel like giving up Business that transcends just you   Key Takeaways: Learn from other entrepreneurs, get out of your comfort zone and expose yourself to, practice, and learn one of people’s top fears: public speaking. All businesses have bad days. It’s important to keep going, keep your focus, and be positive, especially on those days. Know that those days give us perspective and build strength. When you feel like giving up, take some time for self-care. Drink some wine, take a bath, and relax. Talk about it tomorrow. We have to keep going if we want to help people more. If we go out of business, there’s a bunch of people that are not going to get the help that we’re going to provide. "We can grow as entrepreneurs, we win and we give to others too. Jennie Bellinger: 100,000 Downloads and 4 Lessons That Changed Everything
2026/08/03
What if 100,000 downloads were just the foundation, not the finish line? In this milestone episode, you’ll hear the real story behind a #1 network marketing podcast, the BDSM framework that built it, and how to use the same momentum-building principles to grow your own business.   In this episode, Jennie discusses: Origin story of the Badass Direct Sales Mastery podcast Overcoming fear and starting without a perfect plan Listener stories, client journeys, and real-world impact The BDSM framework: Business mindset, Discipline, Sales, Mentorship 100,000 downloads, legacy, and the 100k Gifts Page   Key Takeaways: You can’t build momentum in your business if you’re standing still; progress demands action, even when the plan isn’t perfect. Treating your direct sales or network marketing business like a real business, not a hobby or “side gig”, changes how you show up and what results you create. Consistency and discipline, not motivation, are what carry a long-term content platform through the hard days and into meaningful milestones. A podcast or platform can function as a powerful ecosystem—driving sales, nurturing relationships, attracting clients, and creating referral and JV opportunities. Mentorship (giving and receiving) accelerates growth, and every authentic conversation can leave success “clues” that reshape how you sell, lead, and build.   "100,000 downloads isn't my accomplishment; it's ours." — Jennie Bellinger   Don't forget to check out the new GIFT VAULT! https://badassdirectsalesmastery.com/100kgifts/ CONNECT WITH JENNIE: Facebook:https://www.facebook.com/badassdirectsalesmastery Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/badassdirectsalesmastery/ Website: https://badassdirectsalesmastery.com/ Show: https://badassdirectsalesmastery.com/blog/ YouTube: COMING SOON! She helps women 40 and over find their courage, confidence, and calm by helping them clear out what's holding them back. Having a large customer base is visible and tangible proof that you’re helping a lot of people.  There are a lot of people who have negative views about network marketing and the best way to enlighten them about the good things about this business is not through argument, but through your actions - by continuing to help people and by succeeding together.  Whatever it is you are passionate about or gets you up in the morning, integrate that into your business. Becoming aware of your inner saboteurs, such as the "judge," is the first step to overcoming them, and rather than judging yourself for these negative thought patterns, approach them with curiosity and compassion, and actively work to replace them with more empowering beliefs. By consciously shifting your attention to your senses and the immediate experience, you can short-circuit the fear response and access your more resourceful, "sage" state of mind. Combine practical business strategies, such as 90-day goal-setting, with emotional intelligence work, as it can be a powerful formula for sustainable success.  The synergy between Jennie's direct sales expertise and Erica's Positive Intelligence coaching suggests an exciting potential combination.   "The Zen theory of change. She not only has what it takes to help her clients build million-dollar businesses but she does it time and time again. For the past 6 years, she’s been focusing on helping entrepreneurs bring their businesses online from conceptualization to done for you IT automation. In this episode, Jennie and Michelle discuss: Competence vs. Confidence. You don’t need to have the competence you need to have confidence. Focus on your goals, short term goals, long term goals, and ultra long term goals. Business automation systems, how to attract people gain their attention, and hook them in. Money and business, spending vs investing.   Key Takeaways: Fear is part of being human, embrace it instead of feeling scared of it. Build and embrace your confidence. Expand your comfort zone and confidence by setting goals and then proving that you can achieve them. Pitch marketing is over, everyone wants to buy, but no one wants to be sold on something. Work to solve a problem for them. Luke Sutton: Leveraging LinkedIn Effectively
2026/07/06
Most professionals are unknowingly sabotaging their LinkedIn results with profile mistakes and weak content. Find out how to fix both so your ideal clients come to you ready to talk.   In this episode, Jennie and Luke Sutton discuss: LinkedIn as a professional relationship-building platform Common profile mistakes and benefits-focused positioning Structuring high-converting LinkedIn posts and hooks Effective calls to action and lead magnets Authentic, trust-building communication in DMs and sales   Key Takeaways: LinkedIn works best when treated as a professional relationship-building platform, not just another social network. Profiles that lead with clear benefits instead of titles and credentials are far more likely to attract interest and clicks. Strong LinkedIn posts start with a scroll-stopping hook, tell a relatable story, and end with a strategic call to action. Direct messages should focus on genuine curiosity about the other person, building trust before ever mentioning an offer. The energy behind your communication—authenticity, sincerity, and a true desire to help—is what people actually feel and respond to.   "No matter how you're communicating with people, people also smell desperation." — Luke Sutton   About Luke Sutton: Luke Sutton loves to help people. As an online marketer/content copywriter for 27 years, he has helped many people make money in online home businesses, as well as helping business professionals get more leads and booked calls that turn into clients.  These days, Luke focuses specifically on LinkedIn, helping professionals turn their LinkedIn presence into a lead engine with his full system of content, branding, outreach, and communication. Todd Krause: Lead Like a Pro with the LEAD Framework
2026/05/25
Discover how a former C-suite finance leader scaled a home services business from $1.8M to over $4M by putting people first and learning to let go. In this episode, you’ll hear a practical framework for leadership that turns “volunteer” teams and employees into loyal, high-performing advocates for your business.   In this episode, Jennie and Todd Krause discuss: Journey from CPA and finance to leadership and entrepreneurship Why caring cultures drive retention, reviews, and referrals The business math behind employee engagement and profits The three pillars of a thriving workplace: caring, positivity, and cultural competence The LEAD framework: Let Go, Empower, Align, Develop   Key Takeaways: Sustainable growth comes from unlocking the untapped potential in the people who work with and for you, not just from technology or tools. When employees stay longer, care more, and work with fewer mistakes, operating expenses drop while revenue and profits rise. Culture is built by flipping the script from “rules and consequences” to clearly stating what you want and rewarding behaviors that deliver for your clients. Effective leaders must learn to let go of tasks, empower others, and align them with clear goals so they can make good decisions independently. Developing future leaders happens in everyday conversations just as much as in formal training rooms—every discussion about how and why a decision was made is leadership development.   "If I can't do it all myself, I need help. I have to let go of things and give it to other people, so they can do it, because if I can no longer get my arms around everything, then things either fall through the cracks and stop getting done, or I'm self-limiting in how far I can go with my business." - Todd Krause   About Todd Krause: Todd A. Jennie Bellinger: Step Into Your Power
2026/05/18
From a breakup on December 30, 1999, to commanding the room with unapologetic confidence—this episode is your invitation to rewrite the story of your power.   In this episode, Jennie discusses: Breaking free from emotional and verbal abuse Redefining assertiveness and DOM power Societal conditioning and barriers to women’s power Language, labels, and how women undermine their authority Guided visualization to step into personal power Key Takeaways: You can choose not to believe the limiting stories and labels others have placed on you, no matter how long you’ve carried them. Assertiveness rooted in respect—moving forward on purpose with others in mind—is a powerful and ethical way to lead. Societal conditioning, media narratives, beauty standards, and workplace bias all subtly push women away from their own authority and leadership. Everyday language like “I’m just…” and constant apologizing chips away at confidence and reinforces a smaller version of yourself. Embodied practices like guided visualization help you literally step into a more powerful identity and carry that energy into your life and business. "You are powerful. You are unstoppable." —  Jennie Bellinger    Book a Complimentary Coaching Session with Jennie: https://calendly.com/jenniebellinger/complimentary30   Connect with Jennie: Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/badassdirectsalesmastery Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/badassdirectsalesmastery/ Website: https://badassdirectsalesmastery.com/ Show: https://badassdirectsalesmastery.com/blog/ YouTube: COMING SOON! [Classic Rewind] If It's Not a "Hell Yes!" It's Not a Yes At All
2026/04/27
In this episode, Jennie discusses: The difference between a “yes” and a “hell yes” Saying “hell yes” to your dreams How saying “hell yes” can affect your life and career Commitment, confidence, and passion Key Takeaways: Let your “hell yes” be louder than your fears and doubts Start by saying hell yes - going all in - to your dreams, your family, and yourself You need to know what’s going to make people say “hell yes”. A timid yes can become a hell yes, and it starts with you Confidence in yourself is what makes you badass enough to get a “hell yes” "Are you someone that you would say ‘hell yes’ to? If not, why not? Don’t let fear being seen as ‘talky’ hold you back. People prefer confidence." —  Jennie Bellinger    Check out VIDYARD by clicking this link: https://vidyard.com/badass Book a Complimentary Coaching Session with Jennie: https://calendly.com/jenniebellinger/complimentary30   Connect with Jennie: Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/badassdirectsalesmastery Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/badassdirectsalesmastery/ Website: https://badassdirectsalesmastery.com/ Show: https://badassdirectsalesmastery.com/blog/ YouTube: COMING SOON!
