Steve is still sick with no voice, so a bunch of the gang helps the guys answer some pre-season listener questions!

Snow season is almost here, so we brought a panel of snow pros together for a preseason Q&A. They cover where to find good snow labor and how to attract it beyond pay. They discuss whether to pay standby time or guarantee minimum hours, and what keeps employees loyal, including leading from the front. Then they weigh experienced operators against training new people in-house, and share how they handle equipment breakdowns mid-storm and customer calls at 2 a.m. To close, they ask which tech gives the best return (routing software, GPS trackers, site cameras, geofencing salt spreaders with salt tracking) and whether technology is helping or hurting the snow industry.

The guys sit down with Jordan Smith of Storm Equipment to unveil the winning companies of the six coveted Season 3 spots!
