Another resolute performance sees the golden boys earn a point from another promotion hopeful in West Ham. Ned and James are back to discuss the match, from Nabizada's magical finish to Keben's defensive howler.  The boys then turn to the remainder of the transfer window. With the hornets finally linked to two CBs and a striker - is this enough for Dionisi to work with until January? only time will tell... Let us know your thoughts!! A strong performance by Alessio Dionisi's hornets on the road sees them take a point home to Hertfordshire. Ned and James are back to discuss the performance, from Kjerrumgaard's start over Doumbia to Albert Eames being Watford's only fit right back at the club. The boys discuss if the great dane took his chance with his goal, does Doumbia work better off the bench? then they discuss Bove and Kyprianou's partnership in midfield, Bravo's threat going forward and him linking up with the young Nabizada and Maamma.  But despite all the positives on the pitch there is a lot going on off the pitch which is cause for concern. Dionisi has to be backed or he is being set up for failure. The boys discuss where the gaps are in the squad and what needs to happen to help the Italian get the best for the club this season. Well it's been a busy couple of weeks surrounding Watford. Transfers in & out.  Ned and James are back for their fourth and final off-season special, they discuss how ready this squad is for the upcoming season. Do they have enough to compete? do we need more signings? Irankunda looks to be on his way out alongside Imran Louza. This is more holes in a threadbare squad - more incomings are needed, and fast. The boys then look ahead to Crawley (H) in the EFL Cup. First game of the season, the first test ahead of a 50+ game season.  All this and more!  Let us know your thoughts!! Pre season is well underway, Omar Traore officially signs for Watford from Udinese, and three more signings on the brink from the Italian Sister club (Look away Ian Holloway) Ned and James have a deep dive into the three possible signings, who are they and how do they fit into Dionisi's plans. Friendlies away to Boreham Wood and Barnet have yielded little - a standard affair in pre season but the squad is looking thin on the ground. Will these players make the difference? Academy players winning professional deals and others shining in their pre season opportunities, will Watford rely on youth once again? In our June edition: Nestory Irankunda lights the way for Australia at the World Cup, in our round up, Egil Selvik, Edo Kayembe and a whole host of former Hornets are competing at this Summer's tournament - but who will go the furthest? A complete academy restructure, the removal of the U21s, a player pathway from U18s straight to loans or first team action - is this the right decision? We're back. Well thank god its over. A fifth straight defeat thanks to a 4-0 battering at home to Coventry sees the hornets bow out of the Championship in 16th position, the lowest in 21 years. But lets not dwell on that, Ned and James talk Ed Still's departure - which was announced the morning after, before digging into the main talking point of the pod: Scott Duxbury's end of season statement. Admitting fault in the recruitment department, a dressing room full of players who want to leave and cultural problems all over the football club. Is this statement the first step in the right direction? or is the trust too broken to see any positives left. We talk all this and more in our final regular pod of the season! We'll be back for our annual Keep, Buy, Sell so until then - Thank you so much for your support this season! Let us know your thoughts!! A dreadful week for Watford that sees a resounding beating by West Brom get followed up by a capitulation against Middlesborough and the news we've all been expecting - Ed Still is set to leave Watford at the end of the season.  Ned and James discuss the breaking news and look to answer the question; Does sacking Ed Still solve the problem at Watford? Was Still right to be sacked? Was he operating with an arm tied behind his back? Is there now a divide at the top between Pozzo & Duxbury, Nani and Behrami? What does this say about the trust behind the scenes? Will the next Head Coach have any real chance of success? Are the club actually going to listen to the multitude of previous head coaches that have taken aim at the ownership, culture and lack of professionalism behind the scenes.  Its all a bit depressing and the club feels like it is on the edge of total collapse, where do we go from here.  If you have any thoughts let us know on socials or drop us a comment. Another week and another poor performance from the Golden boys sees the Hornets slip down to 13th place in the table with room to go further. Ned and James tackle the bigger issues at the club however. Is change needed from top to bottom to stop the rot (Starting with Gino & Duxbury) Are the players to blame too?  What do we feel as fans, we seem to be the only people who really care.  Is Still the man for the job? players turning up late for training, going missing in games, throwing him under the bus - Has he lost the dressing room? We're back after the Easter weekend break and we wish it had carried on. A 2-0 defeat on the road and a pretty pathetic showing from the hornets is leaving many fans with a sour taste in their mouth over this season. So what's the problem? Ned and James look through the Oxford performance, as well as Ed Still and Mattie Pollock's comments, then discuss if there is seriously a cultural problem at Watford FC, why do we always tail off at the back end of the season, do we make the right signings? Have we relied on the same transfer model for too long? All this and more in a heated Yellow Squared Podcast. Enjoy. Let us know your thoughts!!
