What does it really take to hunt leopard in Zimbabwe? We’re live from Dallas Safari Club 2026, sitting down with lifetime member Josh Kirkland to break down one of the most intense, rewarding hunts in the world. From daily baiting routines and the unmistakable smell of the gut bucket, to tracking individual cats by their unique markings and waiting through nerve-wracking moments in the blind—this is leopard hunting at its finest. Josh shares the highs, the lows, and the mental game of having a leopard in the tree, while Richie dives into the conservation side: age verification, strict quotas, and why responsible management produces bigger, healthier cats year after year. They also talk close calls, follow-ups no hunter ever wants, and why leopard remains the ultimate prize—even for someone who’s hunted all over the globe. If you’ve ever dreamed of a leopard hunt or wondered what separates a good operation from a great one, this conversation is a must-watch. 🔔 Stay Connected: Don’t miss a moment of the action!
