Caleb Flynn Trial LIVE: Closing Arguments
2026/10/02
The case against Caleb Flynn came down to one final showdown. Prosecutors Matthew Joseph and Paul Watkins and defense attorney Patrick Mulligan duel over the evidence: Caleb knew Ashley had been shot twice—but how? Where did the missing 9mm go? What do we make of the confusing DNA results? And what did Caleb mean when he texted that February 16 would be a day he’d “never forget”? Authentic Cop Drew brings 29 years of law-enforcement experience, while Actual 911 Dispatcher Jon breaks down the closing arguments, the strongest and weakest moments from both sides—and the evidence the jury ultimately had to weigh. Then the case went to the jury. They needed only about two hours to decide Caleb Flynn’s fate.
Caleb Flynn : Body Camera Was Off!?
2026/09/25
On Day 1 of testimony in the Caleb Flynn trial, the jury heard the 911 call, watched body camera video from inside the Flynn home, and heard the first officer on scene explain why his own camera wasn't recording.A retired police commander (29 years) and an active 911 dispatcher break down the witnesses who do the jobs we do: the 911 center director who authenticated the call, Sgt. Corey Rismiller, the supervisor who beat his own squad to the scene, and Officer Alexandra Giampapa, whose Chicago experience made her the most seasoned officer in the house.
Caleb Flynn: Tragedy at the Speed of Sound
2026/09/23
In the Caleb Flynn case, we got to see a phenomenon in human communication displayed with poignance and subtlety from the witness stand. Jill Smith is told her daughter is dead. A father is told his daughter has been murdered. Both need to hear it twice. What that moment teaches us about the people answering 911.
Mica Miller: The Uncomfortable Facts | Part I
2026/09/21
Netflix’s Death of the Pastor’s Wife has put the Mica Miller case back in the spotlight. But before the accusations, protests and online theories, there are the facts. Jon examines Mica Miller’s heartbreaking 911 call, reconstructs her final hours and follows the evidence investigators used to determine what happened at Lumber River State Park. Then we look at the protests demanding “Justice for Mica”—and ask an uncomfortable question: when investigators follow the evidence but the answer doesn’t satisfy the crowd, has the justice system actually failed? If you care about Mica, instead of holding a sign in the street, make a memorial donation in her name to https://dare2caremissions.com to sponsor a child in Africa-- and don't tell anyone you did it. Part 1 of our Mica Miller series.
Flock Cameras Are Coming Down in Florida — One Memo Did It, Not a Law
2026/09/15
Flock Safety's license plate readers are coming off Florida's state roads after a single Department of Transportation memo revoked every permit statewide — not a court ruling, not a new law. A retired police lieutenant with 29 years in narcotics and criminal intelligence breaks down what Flock cameras actually do, what they got wrong, the 172 missing persons cases they helped solve in one Florida county, and why an officer's 717 searches on his estranged wife's plate matters more than you think.
Lindsay Clancy: The Mistrial's Lone Holdout
2026/09/12
He had reasonable doubt. He was filling out the paperwork to acquit. And at the last second, he wouldn't sign — because he couldn't get past the fact that Lindsay Clancy killed her children. The Lindsay Clancy trial ended in a mistrial, 11-1. Since then, jurors have started speaking publicly about what happened behind closed doors, why the vote broke the way it did, and what nearly happened before one juror held the line. Drew (retired police commander, 29 years) and Jon (active 911 dispatcher, crisis negotiator) break down what a mistrial actually means legally, walk through juror interviews and courtroom clips, and lay out what comes next — a retrial, a new jury, or a plea deal.
9/11/2001: The 911 Dispatcher Who Stayed on the Line
2026/09/11
On the morning of September 11th, 2001, Melissa Doi was on the 83rd floor of the South Tower. She called 911. A dispatcher stayed on the line with her until the end — because that was the only thing left she could do.Before the towers fell, before the first responders ran in, there were voices on the line. This is the story of the 911 dispatchers who never hung up — who bore witness to some of the final moments of countless lives and carried that weight home with them, and still carry it today.Through real testimony, documented calls, and firsthand accounts from dispatchers who were working that morning, The Comm Center examines what the 911 system experienced on September 11th — the infrastructure failures, the impossible decisions, and the human cost to the people behind the headsets.
'Not Human': Bizarre 911 Call For Close Encounter
2026/09/07
In 2021 in Currie North Carolina, a man was driving his pickup when he came across two strange things-- first a man suffering from terrible injuries walking in the dark. Then something else which defies explanation. The driver dialed 911 and for 11 minutes his close encounter with something unexplainable was documented in real time. Then, the call disappeared for four years. In 2025, renewed interest in the case has drawn the caller out of obscurity to say what he saw that night.

Jon and Drew go live and talk Lindsay Clancy; the latest successes and changes to the show, and take live comments.
Amy Eskridge: "I Did Not Kill Myself"
2026/09/01
Retired Air Force General Neil McCasland is still missing—but his case led us to an even stranger mystery. We investigate Amy Eskridge, the anti-gravity researcher who reported stalking, death threats and directed-energy attacks before sending an eerie warning: “If you see any report that I killed myself, I most definitely did not.” Now her 2022 death has resurfaced amid questions about a growing list of missing and deceased American scientists—and even Congress and the FBI are paying attention.
Karen Solomon Case: The First 5 Hours
2026/08/28
On the morning of August 18th, three systems collided in Worcester, Massachusetts: a 911 center, a police department that had to investigate one of its own. Officers were called to Wildwood Avenue on a report of a person down. They found Kurt Solomon — 57 years old, a former military police officer, a 31-year veteran of the Worcester Police Department. Six days later, his wife Karen Solomon, co-founder of Blue H.E.L.P., was found dead in the woods off May Street. Worcester Police Chief Paul Saucier has said investigators believe this was a murder-suicide. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has not issued a ruling. Nobody has been tried, and nobody ever will be.
Lindsay Clancy Didn't Love Her Kids
2026/08/26
I tried to understand Lindsay Clancy without condemning—or excusing—what she did. Since then, something changed my mind: the people determined to make her a tragic hero. When compassion becomes exoneration, when responsibility is blamed on everyone except the person who killed three children, true crime has lost the plot. Time to take down the self-important Lindsay Clancy cult, and the true crime community which has allowed emotions to hijack the higher reasoning.
Hannah Payne: New Trial Denied | What They Got Wrong
2026/08/21
A Georgia judge just denied Hannah Payne's motion for a new trial — and for the first time in this entire appeal, he actually explained why. This is the “clean order” the Georgia Supreme Court demanded after the last one was thrown out for citing cases that don't exist. A retired police lieutenant breaks down what the judge ruled, whether his reasoning holds up, and the two-word detail from a 911 call transcript that could decide what happens next. I'm not an attorney. This isn't legal advice. This is an operational read — command-level analysis of a case that started with a 911 call and is now on its second trip toward the Georgia Supreme Court. 🔴Want Comm Center Merch? https://comm-center-shop.fourthwall.com/
Jeremy Renner | The 911 Call That Saved an Avenger
2026/08/18
Jeremy Renner was crushed beneath a 14,000-pound snowcat on New Year’s Day 2023, suffering more than 30 broken bones and catastrophic injuries. With deep snow and abandoned vehicles making the mountain difficult for rescuers to reach, his survival depended on neighbors, a 911 dispatcher, firefighters, paramedics, deputies, an air ambulance—and a remarkable fight to stay alive. I'm a real 9-1-1 dispatcher and I'll unpack the extraordinary rescue that defied all odds.
Twin Falls Fights Back: Chad Williams, Active Shooter
2026/08/14
Two 911 dispatchers. 85 calls. One active shooter moving through a Twin Falls, Idaho In-N-Out — and every call had to be sorted, triaged, and turned into a picture the responding officers could actually use. Drew, a police commander with 29 years of law enforcement experience, and Jon, an active 911 dispatcher and certified crisis negotiator, break down what it actually takes to run a comm center through an incident like this — how two people split the work when the phones won't stop, how a description gets built out of panicked, conflicting 911 calls, how a "second shooter" report gets born from nothing but fear and bad information, and how one dispatcher has to keep listening while the other starts talking units through a scene that's still moving.
