Roasting the Broligarchy: How Starlink Screwed Ukraine, Why Ken Paxton is Terrible, and The Risks of Public Investment Accounts for Kids
2026/10/21
Who restricted vital Starlink satellite access in Ukraine, and why? What's the record for the shortest term of a Press Secretary? How do the new mandatory investment accounts for kids work, what risks do they present, and why is the Annabelle doll there? What's going on with the reflecting pool and other D.C. landmarks? Why is Ken Paxton unfit for public office and arguably one of the worst people to ever run? Why is a tubby, pale poser with daddy issues dedicating more of his inflated wealth to meddling in America's midterms? This pod attempts to answer these questions and more with a comedic take, stack of sources, and lack of tolerance for the patriarchy. Recap: RHOSLC S7E4, Fortune and Misfortune, and The Golden Life Premier Party
2026/10/20
After a summary of what The Golden Life premier event in NYC was like, we jump back into a Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Recap. The women are still kicking off their San Francisco trip by kicking Ashley Quai when she's down, disarmed by the betrayal of Whitney. Angie confides in Heather that her marriage is struggling and confides to cameras about how bad its been. Heather continues to try to make Triflin' Tripp happen, Brittany grills Bronwyn, and Meredith remains a master of scowling. A trip to a vibrator museum adds some extra spice to a dinner that we already knew was going to go badly, with Lisa's lipliner is the uncredited housewife of this episode. We end with the Whitney/Ashley Quai fall out going strong and without any San Francisco peace and love on the horizon. Recap: Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, Season 7 E1-3
2026/10/07
Catching up on Season 7 of what is arguably the most entertaining Real Housewives franchise on Bravo for a nice break between deep dives. In the premier, the ladies set their petty differences aside to support Mary in her time of loss and through her decision to remain a cast member alongside women she refers to as family. We also meet Heather's new-old cheater boyfriend and get up to speed on three women currently leaving their sub-par husbands, and one who almost did. Across the episodes, heartfelt moments and hilarity ensue as the group delves into their personal struggles while also bickering about ridiculous perceived offenses. By episode three, we have props, wigs (both costume and incognito), accusations, and tears. It's pure joy. Season 7 is starting off strong. All opinions are personal and not representative of any outside company, person, or agenda. Deep Dive: The Cornell Gang Rape Seven
2026/09/29
Trigger Warning: Detailed discussion of multiple SA incidents. In October of 2024, an inebriated 20 year old woman (Jane Doe) was advertised as "free p***y" on a snapchat thread for the Chi Phi fraternity on Cornell's campus. According to her lawsuit, after reporting the incident and providing evidence, her case was never criminally investigated and she was never informed about outcomes beyond a separate Title IX process. This pod reviews that recent lawsuit against fraternity members, the bar who served her when underage, her sorority, and Cornell. Included are statements from her lawyer on how the case was mishandled, articles from campus papers about the school's failures, the history of widely reported sexual abuse at Cornell, and examples of different situations where the university didn't hesitate to expel students. “We don’t fight for our own happy endings. We fight to say you can’t. We fight for accountability. We fight to establish precedent. We fight because we pray we’ll be the last ones to feel this kind of pain.” - Chanel Miller If you or someone you love been sexually assaulted or abused, you are not alone. Books/Movie Review: The Love Hypothesis, Love on The Brain, and Not In Love
2026/09/27
Spoiler alerts are provided but listen at your own risk. An enemies-to-lovers, dating trope romcom? Yes, please. Having recently read several of Ali Hazelwood's STEM romance series, and just now watching the adaptation of The Love Hypothesis, this pod presents a review of each. It's understood that a movie will never be able to fully capture the nuances and detail provided in a 300+ page book, so the goal here is to critique the film as a stand alone work before comparing it to the book's plotlines. Those comparisons can be subjective, but specific choices did alter the book in a way that fundamentally changed the characters. Whether those changes were good, bad, or inconsequential is up for debate. Then, a quick synopsis and review of two more books I read, Love on the Brain, and Not In Love. While several elements remain constant throughout Ali Hazelwood's books, each one presents different scenarios and struggles that her lovable characters must overcome in order to find happiness. Along the way, witty banter, stellar references, awkward moments, and lots of yearning make for a great read. All opinions are personal and not representative of any outside company, person, or agenda. Roasting the Broligarchy: Senate for Sale, Microdick-tators, and Pride & Prejudiced Pedos
2026/09/24
How did a typo on a PAC contribution check expose Senator Susan Collins and an entire network of politicians willing to trade government contracts for cash? What intimate letters were uncovered in the White House and why do they quote Pride & Prejudice? Why did a group of CA attorney generals acquiesce to the Paramount/Warner Brothers merger and who is funding it? Why were several news outlets banned from reporting on the President? Who did ICE terrorize and shoot this week? Why does it always come back to micro-dicks? This pod aims to address these questions and more. Roasting the Broligarchy: Beastiality BS, Russian Sugar Daddies, No Tab Pete, and Buying A War
2026/09/16
Why is gas getting even more expensive? Why did Kashyap Patel remove beastiality from disqualifying FBI applicants? Why was a Russian oligarch at the recent wedding of the U.S. President's son? If a billionaire wanted us to start a war, how would they accomplish that? Who just had eight articles of impeachment filed against them, and why? How is Ed Sheeran a coward who capitulated to the Epstein class? Why were leaders of the legendary military publication 'Stars and Stripes' fired? This pod aims to address those questions, and more. Roasting the Broligarchy: Remembering 9/11, Seeing Midterm Stress, and Understanding Gas Grifts
2026/09/13
Twenty five years later, we're still learning more about what happened on 9/11 and the weeks after. Newly uncovered records change the narrative about New York City's lauded leaders and their motivations to, yet again, prioritize money over the good of the people who became heroes in the aftermath of tragedy. That tragic afternoon then became months, years, of toxic clean-up efforts, aided by people who went unknown and unnamed for decades. As families of those who were lost speak out against political indifference and societal bigotry, I remain in awe of their strength and resilience.  With midterms coming up, we also see desperate moves by desperate men who once again squandered their opportunity to improve the country in favor of personal gain. Their choices resulted in the loss of relationships with most of our allies, like Canada. This pod aims to explain what led to that particular loss, and how it will affect our daily lives. Also, a shameless gas grift, why real estate developers aren't peace negotiators, the latest efforts to turn Washington D.C. into a shrine for idiocy, and why bribes for voting a specific way is both unconstitutional and not feasible.  Check your voter registration, find your polling location, or contact your representatives via USA.GOV, VOTE.GOV, and/or the "5 Calls" app. All opinions are personal and not representative of any outside company, person, or agenda. Deep Dive/Recap: Lindsay Clancy's Mistrial Verdict
2026/09/05
DISCLAIMER: Discussion of violence and murder involving small children After days of deadlocked deliberation, notes from the jury, the arrest of a spectator in a restricted zone, and an emergency filing, the first iteration of the Lindsay Clancy trial has come to an end. This pod summarizes the events of the last few days, presents lingering inconsistencies, and describes actions by the prosecution, defense, and Judge as they weathered a very unusual outcome in a very unusual case. With the next hearing set for September 29, 2026, the public must now wait to see if Plymouth County will stay fixated on charges of premeditated first degree murder or forge a different path in pursuit of justice for the Clancy children. Deep Dive: The Lindsay Clancy Trial - How The Wearable Tech Suggests It Was Her
2026/08/19
*DISCLAIMER: Discussion of violence and murder involving small children  The last two days of the Lindsay Clancy trial have been pivotal. Days 14 and 15 presented data from her iPhone and wearable technology, information about her state of mind, and devastating testimony from her mother. All these factors answered key questions and presented conflicting information from what was previously shared in court. When reviewing her Apple Watch data, it reveals her heartrate monitoring that abruptly ends and consequently presents a timeline where she could have committed the crimes. Then, when considering her mental state as reflected in confirmed iPhone notes, confusing elements fall into place. That new timeline is described, along with the impact of new information, a rant about the prosecutors, and the lingering questions and caveats that remain.  As devastating as that acknowledgment can be, finding out what happened is the entire point of following the trial. What's even clearer is her myriad, desperate attempts to get help and how gravely she was failed.  This is an ongoing trial, currently in progress, that has sparked an important discussion about post partum care and mental health, please see resources listed below for support.  Pregnant or just had a baby? Deep Dive: The Lindsay Clancy Trial - Why I Have Reasonable Doubt
2026/08/17
DISCLAIMER: Discussion of violence and murder involving small children Who is Lindsay Clancy and what is she being accused of doing? What has happened so far in court? What evidence has been presented to show that she snapped and harmed her children while her husband was out on an errand? Were any other possibilities investigated? These are the questions this pod aims to address. We begin with background of who Lindsay Clancy is, her work as a labor and delivery nurse, her marriage, the births of her children, her post partum struggles, and her life as a mom in Duxbury, Massachusetts. Then, we focus on learning about the night of January 24, 2023. From there, we look at what has been presented thus far regarding the crime scene, cyber analysis, cell data, Lindsay's injuries, her diary and notes, her doctors and prescriptions, and most importantly, the timeline of events. Lingering questions and observations, along with possible alternative events, are discussed at the end. Roasting the Broligarchy: Money Laundering, Rampant Corruption, and the Miseducation of Todd Blanche and Pete Hegseth
2026/08/07
After a quick rundown of some of the dumbest news of the week, we delve into the biography and background of Attorney General nominee, and Epstein files embarrassment, Todd Blanche. Newspaper archives provide valuable insight into pivotal years of his upbringing that seem to have shaped his world views. Then, we learn that "googly eyes" are fightin' words and merkins are making a comeback before delving into the aftermath of tariff mania, and learning how some financial grifters may have planned for this exact outcome. An impromptu side quest about Pete Hegseth leads us into a musty quagmire of booze and sexism, all under the weary eye of his disapproving mother. Lastly, why Capital One says they closed 300 Trump accounts for suspected money laundering, how DOGE helped America become the land of cyclospora, and how making Dr. Fauci's diary public uncovered the utter hypocrisy of a boring racist and her bald mayo rat who both grandstand about wanting him jailed.  Check your voter registration, find your polling location, or contact your representatives via USA.GOV, VOTE.GOV, and/or the "5 Calls" app.  All opinions are personal and not representative of any outside company, person, or agenda. Deep Dive: The Tate Brothers - Detailing Their Connections to the White House and How They Mirror Epstein
2026/08/01
*Trigger warning: Discussion of abuse of women, girls, and children including sex trafficking, SA, DV, and CSAM.* Who are the Tate brothers and why was their arrest in Miami earlier this month a big deal? What are their connections to the current administration? How have they been able to continue amassing wealth and online attention amidst longstanding allegations of abuse of women and children? How were they able to fly to the U.S. despite a travel ban and while charged with sex trafficking?  This pod walks through the known origins of Andrew and Tristan Tate, two toxic pillars of a hellish grift referred to as the "manosphere", and addresses the questions above. The correlations to Epstein abound, with several familiar names making cameos. We also delve into what young women have stated happened to them at the hands of the Tate brothers, and we review statements the brothers have made that show an ethos, bravado, and ego that seem to blatantly contradict their claims of innocence. What becomes clear, is that the analog era of modelling agencies and referrals Epstein relied on to recruit victims has been replaced with the immediate access social media allows via one quick DM. Understanding modern sex trafficking is vital in any setting, but especially in a country where nothing is being done about abusers revealed from the Epstein files.  Check your voter registration, find your polling location, or contact your representatives via USA.GOV, VOTE.GOV, and/or the "5 Calls" app.  All opinions are personal and not representative of any outside company, person, or agenda. Movie & Book Review: Obsession (2025), Yesteryear, and the Shatter Me Series
2026/07/23
After catching up on Salt Lake City divorce drama and the mediocre manosphere that I believe contributed to it, we jump into a review of the psychological "horror" film, Obsession. An instant classic, Obsession tells the story of a cowardly man's choice to put his crush under a spell to love him, rather than muster the courage to express his feelings and accept whatever hers may be. His choice to force his will upon her has devastating consequences for her, for him, and their entire community, but his resolve to have her love him remains. The movie is layered and filled with clues about motivations and messages regarding both the characters and the script. It's a powerful cautionary tale about how quiet, polite, unassuming men can still be dangerous and how narcissism, patriarchy, and fear can warp understanding what love is and isn't.  Then, a review of the book Yesteryear, by Caro Claire Burke, another psychological ride. This one takes you into the mind of a "modern day trad wife" as her commitment to being a perfect, content generating, wife and mother plays out. With a fixation on a life mirroring that of the early frontier and wild west, Natalie, strives to project a specific image and aesthetic. Yet, she hides the unsavory truth of her hard forged reality, perhaps to herself most of all. While the main hook is Natalie suddenly waking up in the early 1800's, the book's observations on centering men, the roles women play to enable that illusion, and the high stakes of religious extremism, are also primary topics.  We close with my plug for a series of books that I've recently discovered, the Shatter Me series by Tahereh Mafi. The series begins by introducing a girl named Juliette as she's trapped in an asylum due to her dangerous supernatural powers. From there, it evolves into a dystopian, la resistance, self acceptance, enemies to lovers arc - with a love triangle. I'll do a more thorough review when I finish all the books! Both Yesteryear and Shatter Me are currently being adapted into theatrical releases.  TIMESTAMPS *approximate due to varying ad placement*: OBSESSON review begins at 13:23 YESTERYEAR begins at 48:43 SHATTER ME begins at 1:14:00 All opinions are personal and not representative of any outside company, person, or agenda.
