Huge game 5 coming up tonight between the Avs and Wild. Avalanche Head Coach Jared Bednar joined us this morning to preview the action. What did Coach think of the Manson - McCarron "butt ending" scuffle? How's Nathan MacKinnon doing after taking a puck in the schnozz last game? Why did Coach start Blackwood in net in Game 4 instead of going back to Wedgewood? Will Coach divulge any injury updates?

The Colorado Avalanche are 6-0 in the playoffs so far! 4 wins against the LA Kings, 2 wins against the Minnesota Wild (and counting). How's Coach Bednar feeling about his squad? Long time no talk! Jared Bednar joined the show again this morning. How's Bedsie feeling after last night's win? Will he continue to roll with the red-hot Wedgewood in net, or will he start to rotate goalies? How did he pass the time during the 20-minute glass break delay?

Coach Bednar is still recovering from that errant puck he took to the face, so we let him sleep in this morning. We also don't know if he can talk? How easy is it to talk with a broken face and a scratched cornea? Either way, he earned a day off.  No Moser, no Vic, no Bednar, no problem! The show must go on! Erik Johnson tapped in for the injured Coach and had a nice one-on-one chat with Kaner this morning.

Avalanche Head Coach Jared Bednar joined us this morning! We let him sleep in a little bit, but he still had to wake up and talk to us, unfortunately. Does Coach have an update on Kadri? Does he plan on resting any of his big guns in these last few games before the playoffs? What's on Coach's mind this morning?

You can all exhale now. Coach Bednar says Cale Makar's injury isn't serious. He'll miss a few games with precautionary rest, and he'll be back in time to chase Lord Stanley.

Because of their travel schedule, Coach Bednar joined us a little early this morning. Last night, Bedsie said he thought his team played sloppy overall and that Wedgewood bailed them out time and time again. Wedgie was the best player on the ice for Colorado. Does he still feel that way this morning? How great is it to have guys re-entering the lineup? The line combos are starting to look more "normal" again, if you will.

The Avalanche got SHELLACKED by Pittsburgh on Monday night, and they have a massive game against Dallas tonight. For all the marbles in the Western Conference (essentially). How is Head Coach Jared Bednar feeling ahead of the game? Is his battered, beat up, bruised squad ready? Also, Nathan MacKinnon made a comment after the Pittsburgh loss about how the lineups weren't working, and shouldn't look they way they did. Everyone's been making a big deal out of it on social media. MacKinnon called out his coach! Here's the thing...Coach told us today that MacKinnon's comments weren't out of line at all. In fact, Bedsie agrees with him.

Bedsie was fired up last night about MacKinnon's penalty and ejection. Has his mind changed at all after a good night's sleep? Let's also pick his brain about the game as a whole, and get an injury update on guys like Landy and LOC.

Quite the opposite. Bedsie loves how Gabe is playing right now. We also got an injury update from Coach, and previewed Friday's MASSIVELY important clash with the Dallas Stars.

After a (much deserved) 3-week hiatus, Jared Bednar joined us again today! We asked him about the Sam Girard trade, the Olympic break, and the thrilling Gold Medal Match between USA and Canada that featured like half of his Avalanche roster (at least that's what it felt like).
