Episode 72: Jeff Kissel - 5 Handicap
2026/02/05
Jeff is on a mission to play golf in all 50 states. He’s played over 300 courses so far, and we share a love for local nine-hole gems. Awesome episode — make sure you check out Munis and Monsters over on Instagram!
Episode 71: Erik Anders Lang - 5.5 Handicap
2026/01/28
Erik Anders Lang is basically the godfather of modern golf content. When he launched Adventures in Golf, there really wasn’t anything like it, and honestly, that show is a big reason I’m sitting here today making golf content at all.
This episode was a blast to record. We didn’t actually talk a ton of golf — it was more about life, creativity, and everything else in between — but I guess that’s kind of the point of golf anyway.
All in all, this one was a lot of fun. Thanks for listening.
Episode 70: ShaneOh Golfs - 4.7
2026/01/14
I sat down with Shane — better known as ShaneOhGolfs — to talk about how he found his way into the game and what golf has come to mean to him over the years. We get into the competitive side of golf, the unwritten rules and etiquette that make the sport special, and how the younger generation is changing the way golf looks and feels.
Episode 69: Lyle Ciardi +3 Handicap
2025/12/17
I started this show to better understand why we all love golf so much, and this episode with Lyle from Feel Golf does a great job of capturing that.
We talk through what it really means to be a feel golfer, his quest to qualify for the Mid-Am, and how golf truly saved his life.
Episode 68: 2026 Bucket List
2025/12/10
This week I jumped back on the mic with friend of the pod Ben Malach to chat about some courses at the top of our list for 2026.
Episode 67: Hooper Golf Course
2025/11/13
It is no secret that I love nine hole golf courses. And this week I got the pleasure of sitting down with Josh Beer, President of Hooper Golf Course, one of the best nine hole golf courses in the world.
We chat through the history of the club, what the President of a course like Hooper actually does, and what makes Hooper special.
Episode 66: Scotland 101
2025/11/05
Scotland is the final frontier for most golf sickos yet it can be extremely intimidating to plan.
That's why I brought on Jordan from Dog Tracks and Cow Pastures to help me lay out the basics you need to know when planning a trip to Scotland and some simple mistakes to avoid.
Episode 65: Tim Ball - 6.5 Handicap
2025/10/08
I sat down with Tim Ball from Knockdown Golf to talk about his passion for golf, photography, and life on Cape Cod.
Tim also has a close connection to Cape Cod Country Club, which is slated to become a solar farm in the near future. There’s a petition circulating to help save the course — if this conversation resonates with you, getting involved could make a real difference.
Episode 64: Boots on the ground at Bethpage
2025/10/01
It didn't always look like it, but the 2025 Ryder Cup is a golf tournament I will always remember.
We bring back on Golfers Anonymous veteran Matt Weinstein to tell us some stories from his time on the grounds Saturday and Sunday.
Ryder Cup Preview
2025/09/23
The Ryder Cup is officially here so I had to make a call across the pond to my friend Dantalksgolf to come preview Bethpage with me.
We talk about our favorite Ryder Cup Moments, break down the two teams, and make some predictions for the weekend.
Episode 62: Jarrod (Cape Cod Golf Guys) - 13.5 Handicap
2025/09/10
This week on Golfers Anonymous, I’m joined by Jarrod from Cape Cod Golf Guys, who with his brother Adam set out to play—and document—the 51 courses across Cape Cod and the Islands.
We talked about how the idea was born on a family porch and grew into a full-fledged platform that helps locals and visitors alike discover everything from scrappy nine-holers to bucket-list private clubs. Jarrod shares their approach to reviewing courses, why capturing the vibe matters more than perfect greens, and how their creative tournaments—like Bird Fest at Royal & Ancient Chappaquiddick—bring the Cape golf community together.
As someone who hasn't ventured down to the Cape much for golf, this was a super fun conversation.
Episode 61: Bryn D'Andrea - 5.5 Handicap
2025/09/04
This week on Golfers Anonymous, I'm joined by Bryn D'Andrea, aka @swing_thoughts_.
We talk about Bryn's shift from focusing on competitive golf to enjoying the game in new ways. Bryn shares how he's now more interested in the golf course architecture, playing with friends, and just being outside. Tune in to hear how this change has made golf more enjoyable for him and might inspire you to see the game differently too.
Episode 60: Steve (Old Faithful) - 6 Handicap
2025/08/20
This week I'm thrilled to welcome Steve, the founder of Old Faithful Golf Co. Join me as I dive into Steve's fascinating journey into the world of golf and the timeless charm of vintage clubs.
We chat about the intricacies of finding the right shaft, the gearhead mentality, and the joy of tinkering that resonates with many golfers. Steve also reveals what's in his bag, shares some of the coolest submissions to Old Faithful, and talks about his dream guest submissions.
This episode is a Gearhead's delight. Had a blast!
Episode 59: What is a hidden gem?
2025/08/06
This week I’m joined by Jon Cone from Milwaukee Golf Blog for a special deep dive into the world of hidden gem golf courses.
We swap stories about the thrill of discovering out-of-the-way tracks, what really makes a course a “hidden gem,” and why some of our favorite rounds happen in very random places.
Episode 58: Daniel Clark - 4 Handicap
2025/07/23
This week on Golfers Anonymous, I'm joined by Daniel Clark, a lifelong golfer with a unique perspective on the game. We dive into Daniel's journey from growing up on a golf course in Germany to playing competitively in the U.S. and now living in the UK. Daniel shares his experiences of adapting to different golfing cultures and the challenges of maintaining his game amidst life's changes.
We also explore Florio Golf, where the mission to bring mental health conversations to every golf course. Daniel opens up about the inspiration behind his podcast, "Fairways and Feelings," and the impact of sharing personal stories within the golf community.
