After a long hiatus, we are finally back — and this is a good one. I had the pleasure of sitting down with Jeff Stein, founder of Stein Golf Design. Jeff has had quite the journey in the golf world, taking him all over the world to New Zealand, Uruguay, and more wild and interesting places in pursuit of his dream of becoming a golf course architect. We touch on his journey in golf, but also discuss his design philosophy and specifically the work he did at Great Dunes, one of the most popular new courses of 2026.

This week on Golfers Anonymous, I'm joined by Alex Anthony, a Toronto-based golfer and content creator. We chat about Alex's golf journey, the booming golf scene in Toronto, and the friendships the game has built along the way. We also get into some of the incredible golf travel options across Canada — from Whistler to beyond — and why Canada might just be one of the most underrated golf destinations out there. This week we diverge from our typical interview format, and instead I brought on Sean Melia, aka @baystategolf, for a conversation about our ideal version of the golf world. We each came into the conversation with some genie-in-a-bottle type wishes for not only golf as a whole, but specifically golf here in Massachusetts. We cover things ranging from pace of play to pro golf and persimmon woods. This was a fun one!

Erik Anders Lang is basically the godfather of modern golf content. When he launched Adventures in Golf, there really wasn’t anything like it, and honestly, that show is a big reason I’m sitting here today making golf content at all. This episode was a blast to record. We didn’t actually talk a ton of golf — it was more about life, creativity, and everything else in between — but I guess that’s kind of the point of golf anyway. As someone who hasn't ventured down to the Cape much for golf, this was a super fun conversation.
