78. The identity shifts behind scaling to 7 & 8 Figures - Shannon Matson | Industry Leader Interviews
2026/10/01
Industry Leader Interviews is a recurring series in The High-Level Entrepreneur podcast, featuring industry leaders. In this interview, I have invited a special guest - Shannon Matson, founder of The Social Bungalow, an 8-figure online marketing business. Shannon has also built a completely different kind of business alongside it - a 2,500 square foot coffee shop in Las Vegas, started from scratch with almost no experience in physical retail. In this episode, we talk about what it actually takes to go from a six-figure business to a seven & eight figure business that scales - and the pattern she sees over and over again that holds entrepreneurs back. Her answer comes down to two things: team and visibility. We dig into why so many entrepreneurs stay stuck as the "doer" in their own business instead of freeing up time to lead, what it actually takes to build real visibility & own your position as an industry leader, the conviction it took to land a major deal as the most expensive option in the room, and what it really costs to change a business model you've built your identity around. Want more from Shannon? Follow her here: instagram.com/thesocialbungalow If this episode has you thinking about your own pricing, positioning or next level - I'm hosting a free live training this October: "How To Become the 1% Industry Leader That Signs $20k Clients." 77. What actually makes an offer premium
2026/09/24
In this episode, I talk about one of the biggest myths in premium pricing: that charging more means you have to give more - more calls, more content, more access, more of everything. I share what actually makes an offer premium - and it's not about quantity, it's about quality, packaging and experience. I take you through a recent trip to a castle that completely shifted how I think about premium, and why the truth is the opposite: your most advanced clients don't want more, they want better. If you're ready to sell more premium, raise your prices and grow your business through premium offers - apply to Industry Leader Lounge here: https://joellaskoogh.com/industry-leader-lounge-application
76. Stop choosing between intuition & strategy
2026/09/17
In this episode, I talk about something I hear constantly from entrepreneurs: feeling torn between following your intuition and being strategic - like the two can't coexist. I share why that disconnect usually isn't a sign that you need to choose one over the other. It's actually a sign that something in your business - your ideal client, your positioning, your offer - has become misaligned. When you're truly connected to what you do, following your intuition and being strategic naturally start to look the same. I also get personal about how my own positioning has evolved as I've grown, why I almost never spoke about mindset and philosophy in my brand for years even though it's always been a huge part of me, and why premium positioning requires you to stop making yourself digestible. If you've ever felt uninspired doing "the strategic thing" and wondered why - this episode is for you.
75. From 7-figure business to building a manifestation app & gaining 100k followers with Hayley Lloyd
2026/09/03
Industry Leader Interviews is a new series in The High-Level Entrepreneur podcast featuring industry leaders. In this interview, I have invited a special guest - Hayley Lloyd who is the founder of InAwe, an app that teaches breathwork & manifestation. Hayley built a 7-figure coaching business and became a millionaire - and then walked away from it all to start over. She's had an incredible journey: from struggling with alcoholism and debt, to running a successful 7-figure business, to trusting her intuition enough to leave it behind and build InAwe from scratch. In just over a year, Hayley grew InAwe's Instagram account to over 100k followers - something she credits entirely to manifestation and alignment. Because when you follow your true purpose, things just fall into place. Today, we dig into her full story - the rock bottom, the rebuild, and the leap - how breathwork & manifestation have shaped her results, and what it actually looks like to trust your intuition enough to leave something successful behind for something bigger. Want to start using breathwork & manifestation to create real shifts in your own life? Try Hayley’s app InAwe - use code INAWE26 for 20% off: inawemanifestation.com
74. Stop doubting & start acting like your future self
2026/08/27
In this episode, I talk about why so many six-figure entrepreneurs struggle to move to the next level - not because they don't know what to do, but because they struggle to trust themselves, stay the course and make decisions aligned with the entrepreneur they want to become. I also speak about self-trust, identity, long-term thinking & growth, and what actually changes when you stop making decisions from your current identity and start acting like the future version of you - especially when growth requires you to do things that feel uncomfortable, invest, raise your standards or go bigger than you've gone before. Are you ready to lead like the Industry Leader you know you're capable of becoming?  Send me a message on Instagram & we'll talk there: https://www.instagram.com/joellaskoogh or apply directly: https://joellaskoogh.com/industry-leader-lounge-application

66. The cost of being the most ambitious person in the room
2026/07/02
In this episode, I talk about a challenge that almost every six & multi-six figure entrepreneur I work with brings up at some point: feeling like you're always the most ambitious person in the room.  While other people see you as inspiring, successful and confident, you may find yourself craving deeper conversations, bigger goals and people who genuinely challenge the way you think. I share why I believe this can become a real business problem, how the people around you influence what's possible for you, and why being surrounded by the right mentors, peers and expanders can change  what's possible for you and your business. If you're ready to be surrounded by entrepreneurs who challenge you to think bigger, join the Industry Leader Lounge waitlist here and be the first to know when we open the doors: https://joellaskoogh.com/industry-leader-lounge-waitlist And if you're looking for even more conversations about the realities of entrepreneurship, make sure to check out my new limited podcast series, Loners with Hybris, where I sit down with two of my entrepreneur friends to discuss the parts of entrepreneurship that nobody seems to talk about: https://open.spotify.com/show/033DVBQgWx7L77D5lDYVcU
65. Your lack of self-trust is costing you more than you think
2026/06/25
In this episode, I talk about one of the biggest things holding entrepreneurs back from making bold decisions, raising their prices, investing in themselves and truly going all-in on their business: self-trust. I dive into what self trust actually means, why so many smart and capable entrepreneurs struggle with it, and how to build evidence for your own decision-making. I also share lessons from investments, business partnerships and mistakes I've made along the way- and why making the wrong decision is often less dangerous than you think. If you're a six-figure entrepreneur looking to strengthen your leadership, trust yourself at a higher level and surround yourself with ambitious entrepreneurs who challenge you to think bigger -  join the waitlist for Industry Leader Lounge here: https://joellaskoogh.com/industry-leader-lounge-waitlist
64. The identity shift I’m moving through right now
2026/06/18
In this episode, I share a big shift I’ve been experiencing in my business and leadership over the past few months.  I talk about the balance between strategy and intuition, why maintaining your standards matters more than hitting a revenue goal, and how I’ve learned to make decisions that are aligned with both the business I want to build and the life I want to live.  If you can relate to this episode, I’d love to hear from you.
