It's sadly time to say goodbye to one of our favorite shows of all time and most importantly, the Merlin fandom who we love. Thanks for the memories and all of the support over our two and a half years of posting. From talking to the co-creators of the show to basically getting a minor in medieval studies from all of our academic friends, this has been such an incredible ride with all of you. We're taking a short break to focus on book writing (and skiing) and then will be back to review and recap Netflix's Medici the Magnificent starring Richard Madden and Bradley James in Season 2 complete with a fun Italian rebrand to Ladies of the Palazzo. See you in the Spring for Italian intrigue and some truly fabulous art.

He is a screenwriter and wrote on the show Hex, which was created by Julian Jones and he is the Co-Creator and Writer of BBC’s Merlin alongside Julian Jones, Julian Murphy and Johnny Capps and he of course wrote this episode of Merlin that we’ll be discussing. AKA where Merlin was filmed and where we got the iconic castle in the intro sequence. He was trained as an art historian and sociologist and served as the Director of the Amiens Metropole for over 10 years before working at the Center of National Monuments, which include Pierrefonds and Mont St. Michel. Today we recap Series 5, Episode 4, "Another's Sorrow", which we do agree with the popular vote that Series 5 isn't the bees knees. While we love the return of Mithian and her beautiful hair, the writing of some key relationships has us wanting more. We'll be back next week!
