EP 42: #WhyAreWeFriends FT. Kendall
2026/06/12
Making friends as an adult can feel overwhelming—but it's far from impossible. In this episode of our recurring series, #WhyAreWeFriends, Daysha explores the real-life origins of her closest relationships to better understand how meaningful friendships are formed and maintained.
This week, Daysha reconnects with Kendall, her wifey for lifey from high school who she hasn’t lived in the same state as since they were teens. And yet, through a lot of conscious effort and communication, they’ve been able to maintain a vibrant friendship for the last 20 years! They chat about getting kicked out of the Vatican on a school trip to Italy, running high school together as Head and Vice Head of School, and what they learned being in an interracial friendship that started in their teens.

2026/05/01
Is it just Daysha or does even brunch feel like it’s gotten way more curated, aesthetic and high stakes lately? Or are you the person who likes to say yes in the moment to an invite but then bail at the last minute?
In this week’s episode, Daysha goes over:
The difference between hosting and hanging out
How social media has changed the way we think about those two terms
And offers some coaching for both event throwers and attendees on how to get better at communicating needs and setting appropriate expectations
So, if you’ve always wondered:
Why does hanging out with friends feel so complicated now?
Why is it so hard to casually hang out with friends?
And how you can enjoy your friendships again without feeling pressured to show off on social media?
Then I hope you are sat and ready because Real Talk Friend Therapy with Daysha Veronica is in session!

EP 40: Can Men And Women Truly Ever Be Friends? FT. Becky Harris and Jess
2026/04/06
While it’s coming a little late, in honor of Women’s history month, Daysha decides to tackle the age-old question of whether or not men and women — and more specifically hetero men and women can ever truly be friends. While the question can seem silly and slightly regressive, Daysha invites her bestie, Becky Harris, to sit down and ponder with her since Becky has had a lot of successful male friendships. But they soon realize, at what cost are women stifling themselves in order to maintain male friendship and discuss the impact that the media has had over societal norms about opposite sex friendship. And a jaw-dropping revelation forces Daysha’s boyfriend, Jess, to get in on the conversation as well.
So, if you’ve always wondered:
Why do opposite-sex friendships get complicated?
What are healthy boundaries in male-female friendships?
How to make your partner comfortable about your opposite sex best friend
Then I hope you are sat and ready because Real Talk Friend Therapy with Daysha Veronica is in session!

EP 39: How Living In Contrast Is Keeping You From Your Best Relationships
2026/03/20
Contrast, as defined in The Law of Attraction by Michael J. Losier, is “anything you don’t like, doesn’t feel good, or causes you to be in a negative mood.” And when we live in contrast for too long — aka we observe people who make us feel negative, but continue to engage with them and give them our attention, then we are only inviting more negativity into our lives.
In this week Daysha goes over:
What is contrast and why it’s keeping us from the relationships we want
How she’s approached getting out of living in contrast
And how to reframe using what you don’t want to get what you do
So, if you’ve always wondered:
Why do I keep attracting the wrong friends?
How do I break out of toxic friendship cycles?
How do I shift my mindset to attract better friends?
Then I hope you are sat and ready because Real Talk Friend Therapy with Daysha Veronica is in session!

EP 38: Where In The World Has Daysha Been FT. Becky Harris
2026/03/06
BESTIES! I know it's been a HOT minute since we've connected, and that season 2 ended rather abruptly. So for my first episode back, I wanted to give y'all some background on some of the drama that was going down in my life and spill some piping hot tea about my experience working on the immersive theater show, Brassroots District, that's going on in LA right now. And you know I had to have my bestie, Becky Harris, on to dish with me since she supported me through all the trials and tribulations. So get comfy y'all because this is about to be an episode for the ages.
As mentioned in the episode, to help Daysha get her story out there, she would deeply appreciate if you could leave a link to this episode in the comments section/review area for the following articles:

EP 32: I Asked My Mom If We Could Ever Be Best Friends FT. Angela and Erika
2025/05/15
Over the last several years, there has been a cultural push in America for mothers and daughters to become best friends. For last week’s episode, Daysha sat down with a licensed therapist to get her take. So, this week she decided it only made sense to reach out to her mom to see if she ever had a desire to be best friends with her or her siblings. In addition to her mother, Angela, her sister, Erika, who is a new mom, joins them to have the realest conversation on motherhood, parenting and grace.
