From Fuji to the Future: Season 3 Starts Here!
2026/01/16
Kicking off 2026 and Season 3, the boys are back — starting with a look back at Joe’s questionable fashion choices from last year;)
Starting with a preview of some new partner courses for 2026 - particularly in the Fuji area, including Dai Fuji Golf Club, Fuji Golf Course, Hayama Kokusai Country Club, and Gora Kadan Fuji Golf. The boys also share ther New Year’s resolutions, covering personal golf goals and the spectacular regions and courses they want to play in 2026.
The episode also pays tribute to Japanese golf legend 'Jumbo' Ozaki, who sadly passed away. With his amazing 115 professional wins in Japan record, we remember the gentle giant and his enormous impact on the game.
LIV Golf is back in the headlines with Brooks Koepka’s return to the PGA Tour, and the boys break down what it means for the professional landscape.
With more manufacturers moving toward custom fitting, they discuss the benefits of getting fit — and why so many visiting golfers are choosing to do it while in Japan.
Finally, looking ahead to the year to come, the boys talk about where the Golf In Japan business is headed and how they plan to deliver new, higher-quality ways to serve you — our community.

Ron Chopper in Japan Interview
2025/11/19
Catch up with the boys — a full squad this week with KC, Damon, Ryan, and Pro Joe — plus a special interview with Ron Chopper and Joel!
We kick things off by learning what “joints” are on Japanese golf courses. DJ and Ryan share their experience at Club Gazan in Gunma, just 50 minutes from Tokyo and absolutely worth a visit. Kyoto also gets a healthy shout-out.
Was the Baycurrent a little light on punters? Despite an amazing line-up, a deserving winner, and a killer location, the boys break down what might have happened. And what’s going on with LIV these days? KC floats a big idea: why not combine the DP World Tour and LIV to create a truly competitive alternative to the PGA TOUR?
From 45:40 onwards, enjoy the mobile interview with Australian big man and golf creator Ron Chopper — the legend, the myth, the T-shirt! Why is he in Japan, and what did he and Joel get up to? How did he get into golf YouTube, and could he actually play professionally in Japan?

Rory’s Redemption: Masters Recap & Oita Golf Adventures!
2025/04/16
An emotional Rory McIlroy finally captures the Masters, and KC, Damon, and Ryan jump on the mic for an instant reaction show. A proud moment for KC, the resident Irishman, as he gives his countryman props for closing it out—but the big question remains: will Rory add more majors this year and beyond?
The crew also recaps a few other big storylines: Justin Rose's strong showing, DeChambeau’s backyard pint stop, none of the crew's dark horse picks came through; Lowry had a tough +9 final round, and Aberg's slip-up on 18 cost him any sliver of hope. Matsuyama quietly carded the low round of Sunday, and once again, Augusta National proved why it's golf’s Disneyland with flawless conditions and world-class organization.
In our Japan travel segment, we spotlight Oita—famous for its incredible onsen towns, 22 golf courses, fresh seafood, and the local favorite, Mugi Shochu.
(And a quick correction: Ben Hogan also completed the career Grand Slam, making it six players in history not 5 as KC points out- sumimasen!)
