England announce a TWENTY player "A" squad for their tour of Australia and the pair pick that apart.
The HUNDRED draft took place and they look at the headlines from that and how the squads are shaping up for the summer.
Plus the Mumbai Indians make it TWO WPL championships in the first three years.
And Blue the dog makes an unscheduled appearance!

Daggers (in India) and Lyds (in the UK) return with a look at the first two weeks of the Women's Premier League in India.
Daggers catches up with commentary colleague and former Indian international Anjum Chopra to get her thoughts on how the first three years have fared, the possible expansion of the League and what the pathways are for young domestic players.
Then, ahead of International Women's Day on March 8th Lydia tells us about sitting down with three other England players from different era's. Current captain Heather Knight, Lynne Thomas, Carole Cornthwaite & Lydia chatted about their respective times representing their country. You'll hear a chunk of that chat.

Daggers and Lyds return after a short break (which there is a very good reason for) to finally look over some of the reasons for England's performances in the Women's Ashes and to respond to some of the comments made by ECB Managing Director of Women's Cricket Clare Connor.
The look over the issues and the potential remedies going forward. Plus Daggers is in India for the WPL and also looks back at the recently completed Women's Under-19 T20 World Cup.

Daggers and Lyds get together to review a dominant start to the WAshes by Australia as they complete a 3-nil series whitewash of the 50 over part of the series.
That means a lead of 6-nil lead in the multi format system needing only 2 more points to retain the trophy.
The pair discuss the games and try and put a finger on what's gone wrong for England.
Season 2: Chapter 6 - Women's Ashes Preview

Daggers & Lyds are back for their big preview of the forthcoming Women's Ashes series.
After Australia retained the Ashes in England in 2023, this contest is one of the most eagerly anticipated in years after England won both the T20 and ODI sections of the multi-format series, with the Aussies winning the test at Trent Bridge.
Plus the pair answer some listener and viewer questions, and do a quick run-down of the rest of the news.

A Bumper episode!!! Daggers and Lyds round-up the ODI series between South Africa and England and are joined by Pace-Ace Lauren Filer for a chat!
They then move onto Australia v India with Sky Sports colleague Mel Jones discussing their form and the recently ended WBBL.
Finally the pair go through an historic T20 series victory for Ireland over Bangladesh.
And finally Daggers rants about an article written about the women's game by a Times food critic.
Season 2, Chapter 3 - Mel Jones talks Afghanistan Women.

In this episode Daggers & Lyds are joined by Sky Cricket colleague and former Australia international Mel Jones to chat about a topic which has returned to the headlines recently.
The plight of the Afghanistan women's team has been ongoing ever since the country returned to Taliban rule back in 2021. The Taliban refuse to allow women to play sports (amongst many other laws against women) and so the team assisted by Mel and other sought out refugee status for them in Australia.
The ICC still allow the Afghan men's team to compete despite the rule that states that a full member nation must have a recognised women's team and pathways for women and girls.
The outgoing ICC chair Greg Barclay was interviewed by the Daily Telegraph recently where his comments regarding this topic caused quite the reaction.

Season 2: Chapter 2 - Charlie Dean drops by from Kimberley

Daggers and Lyds are joined by spinner Charlie Dean after England's 3-0 T20 series win against South Africa. She chats about the post world T20 fallout, predictions of her being a possible future England captain and whether having a birthday so close to Christmas, she receives two lots of presents.
Plus the pair are across all the news of the moment in the women's game looking at the international scene with Ireland in Bangladesh and the forthcoming series between Australia and India.
Also, the appointment of Jay Shah as ICC Chairman, The WBBL final and the release of the Metrobank and Vitality Blast fixtures.

Daggers and Lyds catch up after Australia's demise at the hands of South Africa at the WWT20 in Dubai.
The "Big 3" are out of the competition and the pair react to that, then a bumper edition of the mailbag focussing on the England Women failing to reach the knockout stage.
