Welcome to the Tank Commander Podcast, hosted by Jeffrey Pidlaoan and Noah Sharp! Just like the players we'll be covering, this is an up-and-coming NBA and Dynasty Fantasy podcast focusing on the newest players in the NBA, ranging from prospects about to enter the league in the incoming drafts, to the young rookies and sophomores who are making their way and ascending into stardom or at least a long career in the league. We are two dynasty tank commanders with the youngest teams in our league and highest picks in our rookie draft who keep falling for the youth movement. We focus on these young players because we love following their journey and seeing how their tools and abilities help them make it to the next level, or even change the NBA itself. In this podcast, we combine our scouting eyes along with our fantasy skills, to provide ongoing young player coverage throughout the year: from the draft to summer league, to the mid-season doldrums, to the playoffs, and all the way back to draft season over again. Whether it's the first or second year players adapting to the league and evolving past what anyone could have predicted, to the draft prospects that will make even the most old man fantasy squad want to send their team deep into tank mode, the Tank Commander Podcast is your best bet to get year-round insights on the future of the NBA.

Patrick Ngongba II is a sophomore from Duke who does all the right things from a 6'11" big man: he can attack the rim, he can defend inside the perimeter. ...And he can pass from hub positions like a madman with fascinating creativity. And he's got more than flashes of shooting touch, and great fluidity to match. He's an intriguing big to watch for this draft season, and this class just keeps getting better. Spoilers again: this man is in the second tier of prized picks in 2026 draft, and potentially playing spoiler to the first tier of the Big 3. UNC's freshman forward Caleb Wilson is statistical darling, generating highly efficient scoring and free throw numbers, with freakish dunks, insane stocks, and surprisingly advanced playmaking. He has one obvious weakness in shooting, but we break down other areas where his game can improve, and analyze in-depth why his strengths are so strong.
