Description

Hey Lovely!  Welcome to The Lovely Home Podcast with Evelyn Hall, where we romanticize everyday life through a Christ-centered lens and lovely eyes. This podcast is for Christian wives who desire a soft, peaceful, and intentional life—one built on rhythms instead of rigid routines. Here, we blend faith-based habits, feminine routines, soft living, and modern homemaking to help you care for your mind, body, and home in a way that actually feels sustainable. Each episode is designed to help you renew your mindset, simplify your routines, and create a peaceful home through biblical truth, practical habits, and grace-filled living. We talk about identity in Christ, building habits that align with your life, and creating rhythms that support your unique season—without guilt, pressure, or perfection. You don’t need to become someone else to glow up. You just need to come home to who God created you to be and rest in His grace. If you’re ready to live with intention, embrace soft discipline, and build a life that feels both beautiful and rooted in Christ… you’re in the right place. If you're ready to drop the home guilt and feel more grace... you're in the right place. If you're ready to 100% believe that you are lovely and so is your home... You're in the right place. Clean With Me: The Ultimate Friday Home Reset for Newlywed Christian Wives
2026/10/23
It's Clean With Me Friday, friend! 🧺   Grab your cleaning supplies, put on something lovely for your senses, and let's reset four spaces in your home together. In today's episode of the Lovely Home Podcast, Evelyn guides you through a grace-filled cleaning routine for your kitchen, living room, bedroom sanctuary, and one room of your choice. We'll declutter, dust, disinfect, and clean our floors while remembering that homemaking isn't about achieving a perfectly spotless home. It's about faithfully caring for the space God has entrusted to us. Before we begin, we'll practice the Lovely Senses exercise, choosing something lovely to see, hear, taste, smell, and feel as we clean. Then we'll work through each room using a simple left-to-right method that helps you stay focused, avoid distractions, and make meaningful progress without feeling overwhelmed. In this episode, you'll learn how to: Reset four rooms without getting overwhelmed by the mess. Use the left-to-right decluttering method to stay focused. Make cleaning more enjoyable by engaging your five senses. Create a peaceful bedroom sanctuary for you and your husband. Practice gratitude and contentment while caring for your home. Give yourself grace when your home doesn't look the way you want it to. Remember, friend: your home is meant to be lived in, not kept perfectly clean. You can care for your home faithfully without demanding perfection from yourself.   YOUR LOVELY NEXT STEP: Choose one room in your home today. Find one thing that makes you smile, put on something lovely for your senses, and spend ten minutes caring for that space. Start where you are, and let grace guide you. You are lovely, your home is lovely, and you don't have to do it all today. Let's get cleaning! Welcome to the Lovely Home Podcast, where we help Christian wives cultivate more peace and less guilt in their minds, lives, and homes. #CleanWithMe #ChristianHomemaking #HomemakingRoutine #CleaningMotivation #LovelyHomePodcast

2026/10/14
The morning routine era is over. ✨ If your morning routine has started to feel more like a checklist, a test, or another reason to feel guilty, this episode is for you. As Christian newlywed wives, we’re constantly surrounded by advice about what our mornings should look like. Wake up early. Read your Bible. Exercise. Journal. Clean the kitchen. Get ready. Do all the things—and somehow do them perfectly. But what if your morning doesn’t need to be a routine you force? What if it could be a rhythm you create? In Episode 96 of the Lovely Home Podcast, we’re talking about how to stop copying other women’s morning routines and start creating a morning rhythm that actually fits your life, your home, and your current season. I’ll walk you through a simple, grace-filled approach using your five senses and five categories: Something Lovely, Something Body, Something Movement, Something Holy, and Something Helpful. You’ll also get your Lovely To-Do for the week and one question to carry with you each morning: “What does a lovely morning look like for me today?” Because your morning is not a test. 95 | Lock in Lovely! Create & Live Out the Fall of Your Dreams This 2026
2026/10/07
October is here, lovely! And instead of letting fall fly by only to reach December wishing you had done more, today we’re slowing down and intentionally creating a fall that feels lovely to you. In Episode 95 of the Lovely Home Podcast, we’re creating a fall bucket list—but with one very important foundation: you cannot do it all. We’re talking about seasonal guilt, giving God the eraser, using your five senses to discover what you want to experience this fall, creating a fall mood board and playlist, making a seasonal food list, and choosing what kind of fall you actually need this year. Then I’m sharing my own 2026 fall bucket list, including fires and jam sessions, cozy reading, nature walks with Ember, stargazing with Nathan, antiquing, farmers markets, Bible study, coffee shop reading, chess, cinnamon rolls, Little House on the Prairie, and more. Because your fall doesn't have to look like anyone else's. You don't have to attend every festival, visit every pumpkin patch, bake every Pinterest recipe, or decorate your entire house. 94 | Girl, You Don't Need Another Planner — How to Trust the Mind God Gave You
2026/09/30
Hey lovely 🤍 Have you ever bought a planner, downloaded a new app, saved a morning routine from TikTok, or tried someone else's homemaking system thinking, “Okay… THIS is finally going to get my life together”? And then a week later, you're wondering why you can't stick to it? Maybe the problem isn't you. Maybe you just haven't stopped long enough to ask yourself what you actually need. In today's episode of The Lovely Home Podcast, we're talking about putting more confidence in the woman God created than in the physical things around her. Because we live in a world FULL of noise. Social media, podcasts, Pinterest, apps, planners, routines, influencers, and even well-meaning advice can make us feel like we're constantly supposed to be doing something differently. We're so used to answering other people's questions that we can forget to ask ourselves our own. So today we're talking about what it looks like to: ✨ Stop copy + pasting other people's routines ✨ Create rhythms based on your actual season of life ✨ Trust that God gave you a mind capable of thinking, discerning, and problem-solving ✨ Stop blaming yourself when someone else's system doesn't work for you ✨ Learn how to ask yourself better questions ✨ Get curious about how YOU naturally work, think, and live ✨ Create homemaking rhythms instead of rigid routines ✨ Seek God's wisdom while also trusting the woman He created you to be We'll also talk about the $9 Target calendar, the perfect TikTok morning routine, the Lovely Home Planner, Monday Mastermind, and the Lovely Rhythms Call—and why none of these things are meant to replace YOU. They're tools. You are the woman using the tool. And your Lovely To-Do this week is simple: Pay attention to the questions you ask yourself. For the next seven days, whenever you catch yourself asking, “What am I supposed to do?” pause and ask: “What do I think I need?” Because how can you create rhythms that actually fit your life if you don't know yourself? And at the end of the episode, we're doing a Lovely Thing of the Week together—so you can practice noticing something lovely through one of your five senses. You don't need to become someone else to create a lovely life. You may just need to start asking yourself better questions. 🤍 You are lovely, and so is your home. || LINKS LINKS LINKS || Shop the Planner Book Your Lovely Rhythms Call Tell me your Lovely Thing of the Week!     Christian homemaking, Christian wife, Christian newlywed wife, newlywed homemaking, Christian homemaking podcast, homemaking routines, homemaking rhythms, rhythms over routines, biblical homemaking, realistic homemaking, intentional homemaking, home management, peaceful home, Christian wife encouragement, homemaking mindset, Christian lifestyle, Christian women, Christian habits, Christian productivity, homemaking motivation, homemaking for newlyweds, how to create a homemaking routine that works for you, how to create a homemaking routine as a Christian wife, how to stop comparing your homemaking to others, how to stop copying other people's routines, how to find your own homemaking rhythm, how to build confidence as a Christian wife, how to create realistic routines, how to simplify homemaking, how to stop feeling guilty about homemaking, how to create a peaceful home, how to know what routine works for you, Christian homemaking without perfection, rhythms instead of routines, and intentional living for Christian women.

93 | The “Get Your Life Together” Fall Reset—but Make It Life Changing & Less Product Consumption
2026/09/16
🍂 A Fall Reset for Your Mind, Marriage & Home What if your fall reset isn’t about becoming a completely different woman? What if it’s about returning—returning to God, returning to your home, returning to your marriage, and returning to the ordinary life you’re already living? In this episode of the Lovely Home Podcast, we’re slowing down and looking at fall through a different lens: the rhythms God built into creation and what they can teach us about the rhythms of our own lives. As the earth moves toward the September equinox and the days begin to shorten, creation doesn’t panic. The trees don’t scramble to keep producing. The garden doesn’t worry that summer is ending. Creation simply moves into the next season. And maybe we can learn to do the same. We’ll talk about the science and rhythm of fall, the biblical idea of seasons, harvest, letting go, rest, and what it means to actually be present in the life God has given you. For Christian newlywed women especially, we’ll bring this idea into your marriage and homemaking—because your husband isn’t a project, your home doesn’t have to be Pinterest-perfect, and your marriage doesn’t have to become perfect before you’re allowed to enjoy it. Inside this episode, you’ll also be guided through a simple Fall Reset Journal Exercise using four words: 🍂 RECEIVE — What is God giving you right now that you’ve been too distracted to receive? 🍂 GATHER — What has grown in your life that you want to intentionally preserve? 🍂 RELEASE — What are you ready to stop carrying into this next season? 🍂 REST — Where are you being invited to stop striving and trust God? We’ll also talk about how to intentionally notice your husband, create a home that feels like home rather than another source of pressure, and practice gratitude for the ordinary moments you might otherwise rush past. And before you go, I’m giving you a little challenge: Instead of creating a giant fall bucket list, create a Fall Rule of Life. This fall, choose to notice what is already good, gather what God has grown, release what you don’t need to carry, and rest without guilt. Because you don’t need to wait for your life to look different before you start enjoying it. This is the day the Lord has made. So grab your coffee, light your favorite fall candle, find your journal, and settle in. It’s time for a fall reset—not to become a new woman, but to return to the rhythm God has already given you. 🍁 In this episode: The science behind the changing seasons God’s design for fall and the rhythm of creation What fall can teach us about our own seasons of life The spiritual meaning of harvest and recognizing what has grown A fall marriage reset for Christian wives Why your husband is not a project Creating a home that feels like home instead of chasing perfection The Receive, Gather, Release & Rest journaling exercise How to practice being present in your ordinary life A simple 5-minute grounding exercise Creating a Fall Rule of Life Learning to rest without guilt Finding something lovely in an ordinary day Returning to God, your home, your marriage, and the present moment 🍂 Lovely Rhythms Call: Create lasting rhythms that work with your mind, body, menstrual cycle, and love languages. 📖 Lovely Home Planner: A grace-filled, undated planner created specifically for Christian homemakers who want rhythms that are founded on grace instead of guilt.   TELL ME YOUR LOVELY THING OF THE WEEK!!   You are lovely, and so is your home. 🤎

93 | 12 Must-Have Registry Items (And 12 You Can Skip) | Wedding Registry or House Warming Registry Tips | Amazon Wishlist Ideas
2026/09/09
Planning your wedding registry? Or maybe you're setting up your first home, creating a housewarming registry, or simply trying to figure out what you actually need for your home? In this episode of the Lovely Home Podcast, we're talking about the things that are actually worth putting on your registry—and the things you can confidently leave behind. I'm sharing 12 things I highly recommend putting on your wedding or housewarming registry, based on my own experience as a newlywed and homemaker. Then we're flipping the list around with 12 things I think you can skip. 🛍️ 12 Things You NEED on Your Registry 1. Quality Bedding Good sheets, duvet covers, comforters, and pillows are worth investing in because they're things you'll use constantly. 2. Quality Pots & Pans Take advantage of your registry to get a quality set of pots and pans that will serve you for years. 3. Quality Towels Skip the cheap towels that fray and get rough. Invest in towels you'll actually enjoy using. 4. Serving Trays & Bowls Beautiful and practical serving pieces are perfect for hosting family and friends in your home. 5. A Good Vacuum Especially if you have pets, a quality vacuum can make keeping your home clean so much easier. 6. Glass Food Storage Containers A variety of sizes is incredibly useful for meal prep, leftovers, and storing food. 7. Something for a Hobby You & Your Spouse Can Do Together Think camping supplies, pickleball paddles, board games, or anything that helps you enjoy time together. 8. One Quality Appliance You Really Want My personal recommendation? A Ninja Bullet-style blender with single-serving cups. We use ours constantly for smoothies and protein shakes. 9. Bulk Cleaning Supplies Things like Swiffer pads, mop pads, and dusting supplies can be surprisingly wonderful registry gifts because you'll actually use them. 10. Gift Cards Restaurant, grocery store, gas, Amazon, and home store gift cards can be incredibly helpful as you begin married life and establish your home. 11. Something Lovely for YOU & Something Lovely for Your Spouse Put something on the registry that simply makes each of you happy. For me, that was an espresso machine. For my husband, it was a board game. 12. Quality Kitchen Utensils Look for utensils you'll use constantly, such as stainless steel, wood, or silicone options. 🚫 12 Things You Can SKIP Then I share 12 things I personally don't think you need to prioritize on your registry: • A huge collection of wine glasses or specialty drinkware • Every kitchen appliance under the sun • China and fancy hosting materials • An expensive knife set • A matching four-pack of coffee mugs • Organizational bins before you know your space • An iron and ironing board • Single-purpose kitchen gadgets • Things you're only registering for because you think you're "supposed" to have them • Furniture you haven't thoughtfully planned for your home • Anything you're buying because you're comparing your registry to someone else's • A fancy rotating or drawer spice organization system before you know your kitchen The biggest takeaway? Your registry should serve the life you actually live—not the imaginary life the internet tells you that you should have. You don't need the biggest, fanciest, or most complete registry. You don't need everything that appears on a traditional wedding registry checklist. You need things that will bless you, your spouse, your home, and your current season of life. And most importantly, don't let this list make you feel discontent with the things you already have. Your home is still lovely. Your things are still gifts. These are simply my opinions based on my own experience—and what wasn't necessarily necessary when I first got married. 🤍 🍳 BONUS: COOKBOOKS One more fun thing I recommend putting on your registry: cookbooks! Cookbooks can be such a lovely way to build your kitchen and grow in confidence as you learn to cook and care for your home.   ** WANT TO CONNECT?? ** Instagram | @lovelyhomepodcast Website | https://allthingslovely.co Join our Newsletter | Lovely Thoughts Newsletter Submit Lovely Thing of the Week | Google Form   ** CHECK OUT THE LOVELY HOME PLANNER!!**  "Lovely Home Planner & Guided Journal"  ** BOOK A LOVELY RHYTHMS CALL!!**  One on One Coaching Call!!
