My fifth baby was a surprise, and her home birth during the pandemic lock-downs was a planned unassisted birth. This birth also includes a slow transition that required my support. If you're afraid of birth (and even pregnancy), you are NOT alone and you aren't crazy! We live in a world that gives us lots of scary images and stories that naturally induce fear. BUT you don't have to stay there. I'm chatting a bit about the process of moving past fear and into joyful anticipation. There's much more that could be said, but this is a good start.
