Andi holds a Bachelors Degree in Film Studies and Computer Science from Clark University, an MS in Communications from Clark University, and an MLIS from the University of Alabama. They're a known lover of trashy genre films, and a known hater of Yorgos Lanthimos. Andi believes any future wiretripping should be accessed privately with a VPN, and that all users should be wary of streaming services that don't support ownership of S.Q.U.I.D. tech. Michael in an interdisciplinary artist from the San Francisco Bay Area, currently based in Durham, North Carolina. He explores the language of cinema as a tool to create experimental video, sound, performance, and installations. Michael has exhibited and screened his work internationally at museums and galleries, most recently in Oaxaca, Mexico, and Montreal, Quebec. He holds an MFA from the former Mills College and is an adjunct professor at the UNC-Chapel Hill Department of Art and Art History, where he teaches experimental video in the studio arts. Laurent currently lectures at the University of Notre Dame and the University of Western Australia. His first encounter with film noir came from an honors class screening of Alfred Hitchcock's NOTORIOUS (1946), and he has recently become interested in how the genre is reconfigured in an Australian context. They are a lifelong genre fanatic, in particular sci-fi and horror narratives, and their work at the Concord Free Public Library's makerspace allowed them to instruct patrons on everything from 3D-printing spooky props, to writing code that will hopefully not gain sentience.
