In this episode, I’m having a very honest stationery chat about how my interest in Plotter somehow turned into a full-on ring binder rabbit hole. I didn’t even buy a Plotter, but I did end up getting a few more affordable binders, including a Raymay pocket, a Raymay bible-size binder, plus some inserts to test things out. Some of it worked, some of it didn’t, and somewhere along the way I started wondering: am I genuinely experimenting, or am I just shopping with a more responsible-sounding excuse? This is a relaxed chat about wanting all the things, planner brainrot, the difference between useful purchases and impulse buys, and trying to enjoy stationery without letting it take over my wallet, my tiny apartment, or my brain.

In this episode, I’m chatting a bit more about my recent planner hopping experiment and the thoughts behind it. I didn’t switch planners because everything was falling apart or because I was chasing the “perfect” system. I was just curious. I wanted to see what would happen if I gave myself permission to move around a little, especially while trying to get back into daily planning and rapid logging. So this is more of a behind-the-scenes companion to my latest YouTube video. I talk about why I tried it, what I noticed, and how changing planners sometimes helps me understand what I actually need from my system. A cozy planner chat about experimenting, figuring things out as you go, and not taking planner hopping too seriously. In this episode, I’m doing a little reset for the podcast. I still love making The Stationery Junkie, but between work, making videos, life changes, mood shifts, and just having limited energy, the podcast quietly took a backseat for a while. So instead of forcing myself to come back with a big plan or a perfect schedule, I’m easing back in more gently. I talk about where I’ve been, why podcasting started to feel harder to keep up with, and how I want this space to feel moving forward: more casual, reflective, lightly edited, and less pressure overall. Think of this as a soft re-entry. A cozy catch-up. A small reminder that creative things are allowed to change with us. Thanks for being here. #StationeryPodcast #PlannerPodcast #JournalingPodcast #CreativeReset #SlowContent #PlannerCommunity

Planner season 2026 has been… something else. Prices are higher, US buyers are dealing with new fees, some folks are redating their old planners, others are chasing Hobonichi freebies, and there’s even been some shady paper and manufacturer drama. It’s been a mix of refreshing moments and classic planner FOMO. In this episode, I’m sharing my reflections on what I’ve seen so far: the good, the surprising, and the eyebrow-raising. How has planner season felt for you this year? Are you buying new, reusing what you have, or still undecided?

Planner season is here again! ✨ But instead of just sharing a list of what I’ll be using in 2026, I wanted to take you behind the scenes of how I’m making my choices. This is Version 1 of my 2026 planner plans: my first draft lineup that reflects my full-time work schedule, my hobbies (YouTube, podcasting, and studying Italian), and the lessons I learned from my 2025 system. Things might still change as more planners and lineups are announced, but right now, this setup feels balanced and intentional. In this episode, I talk about: Why I want to consolidate and keep my system manageable How I balance FOMO with realistic routines My Version 1 lineup for 2026 and the role of each planner Join me as I process planner season in real time, and hopefully give you some ideas for your own 2026 setup!

It’s Hobonichi season, planner friends! Normally this is the most exciting time of year for us stationery lovers, but 2026 is bringing something new: higher prices and some confusing tariff talk. What do these fees really mean for us? And why is everyone worried about the de minimis rule ending? In this episode, I break it all down for you. We’ll go through an example of a Hobonichi order that jumps from $145 to almost $180 once you add in duties, courier fees, and taxes. We’ll also talk about how this compares to what buyers in Europe, Asia, Canada, and Australia have already been dealing with for years. I’ll share some tips for US buyers, alternatives like shopping from local stockists, and my thoughts on how the stationery community might adapt. Grab your favorite pen, a cozy drink, and let’s make sense of the Hobonichi price hike together. 💬 What are your thoughts? Will you still order direct from Japan or stick with local shops this year?
