Phoebe Simmonds' Love Story
2026/02/04
Hi!!
Welcome to our new three-part series, Love Stories.
Every Thursday for the next three weeks, I’ll sit down with a guest who tells me about their love story.
Today, I sit down with Phoebe Simmonds, co-founder of The Memo, to share her personal love story with husband Shaun Caton.
In her mid-30s, single and career-focused, Phoebe was dating with intention when she met Shaun. Shaun was navigating life after the devastating loss of his former partner, Sam, and Phoebe stepped into their world with patience and care, embracing co-parenting Shaun’s young son, Tyler. With a strong desire to have children of her own, Phoebe and Shaun went on to grow their blended family, welcoming their son Remy.
Phoebe’s journey to motherhood might not have been what she expected, but it’s been one of the most rewarding experiences yet, and she’s been so grateful to have Shaun, who is no stranger to parenting, right by her side.
Thanks so much to Bumble for supporting this episode of Inherited. Start your year with intention and find meaningful connections on Bumble today.
Your host today was Ruby Hall (@rubytuesday2.0), and the guest was Phoebe Simmonds (@phoebeactually).

Geebungalow's Roísín Tarrant on why she took her kids of social media
2026/02/02
Hello!
Today, I’m joined by Roísín Tarrant. Roísín has built a loyal and engaged online community under her Instagram and TikTok handle, @geebungalow, where she generously shares the ins and outs of her career and motherhood journey. Late last year, she added another string to her bow with the launch of her kidswear brand, By Gee The Label.
In this conversation, Roísín reflects on the steady process of building her online profile alongside her now-husband Zac, and the deep personal challenges they’ve faced together, including infertility and pregnancy loss. She speaks candidly about resilience, partnership, and what it means to keep showing up when life doesn’t go to plan.
Roisin also opens up about the juggle of parenting three children under three, the boundaries she’s intentionally set around sharing her children online, and how her own difficult childhood has shaped the way she wants to parent.
