Christy & Kayle got to sit down with fifth & sixth generation breeders Tina Clay-Miller, Gabe Miller, and Dillon Clay-Kruger. Conversation goes from the beginning of Clydesdales with the Clay name. The family originally from the UK, and have proof of breeding Clydesdales from 1911. The 2026 Raffle filly was bred and raised by Dillon & his wife Cassie. Henry & Brietta Ihling are newer to the Clydesdale industry. They are first generation Clydesdale owners, granted if you have been active at sales and shows you most likely have all ready met them. We get their story on how they started in the Clydesdale breed and what their future goals are. We sat down with Steve, Barry & Marty Gregg after the Clydesdale Sale Banquet. The stories and the joke with some beers kicked off! Message of the episode is to try your hardest, but have fun. Christy and Kayle got the opportunity to sit down with the former NBA player Marcus Landry at the 2026 National Clydesdale Sale. We reflect on his career and upbringing and how he decided to get into the Clydesdale business. he and his wife started Beulah Family Homestead, it is a program to teach inner city youth about farming and agriculture. While we were out in MA we had to record an episode with Ned & Jan Niemiec. Ned has had a lifelong career in the draft horse world. Christy & Kayle sit down with the co-chairs of the 2026 National Clydesdale Sale for an update about the upcoming sale.

The interview covers the history of Hallamore Clydesdales, how Barry first chose the breed for parade promotion, and stories from his half-century involvement with draft horses. Christy & Kayle Flew out last week to get a bucket list interview with Mr. Dennis Barry. Since the inception of this podcast he was an interview that was needed. Dennis has giving the majority of his life to the Clydesdale Horse as they were an advertiser of his business. Hallamore Corporation started out as a horse drawn livery business in Brockton, When Dennis took over Hallamore Corp. he thought it would be a great thing to have a pair of horses and a wagon to use in parades for promotion. I don't think at that time he thought it would be a 50+ year venture with the Clydesdale Horse.
