Description

Welcome to Study Sleep Soothe PLUS, ALL episodes AD-FREE, EXCLUSIVE EPISODES and ACCESS to our back catalogue. Study Sleep Soothe is perfect for individuals with ASD and /or ADHD. We offer a diverse library of natural and man-made sounds, (with and without music) to ensure a sensory-friendly, regulating experience for our listeners who may be experiencing overwhelm, poor concentration, distraction, frustration or sensory over-stimulation. Our sounds might also be helpful for those who need help focusing on study or work and to fall asleep at bedtime.  From rainfall, ocean waves, techno trance beats and pulse, copper, pink, green white and brown noise, to soft mechanical hums and ambient melodies, drum rhythms and constant tones, we’re here to help neurospicies find their balance in an often overwhelming world. We would LOVE to have feedback and requests from you. Tell us what sounds work for you, and which don't. This will really help us.We understand that sound is subjective; someone's heavenly sound, might be the next person's hellish sound! So we are creating as many variations of sounds we can, so that everyone will be able to find a sound that is JUST RIGHT for them. Each episode is produced by Clare Bailey, who is herself, an autistic woman who works as a counselling psychotherapist and entrepreneurship coach.

PINK NOISE with Heartbeat Sound 60 BPM - Warm Hiss with a Pulse
2026/10/29
🎧 Inside this Flooba episode... Pink noise has a softer, warmer sound than white noise, with less emphasis on the higher frequencies. Its slightly lower, more rounded character gives it a gentler edge, with less of that bright, fizzy hiss. We've paired it with a human heartbeat sound 60 BPM. We hope you like it. 🧠 This might suit your brain if ... ...you find white noise a little too sharp or bright, but are drawn to something softer and more rounded. Perhaps pink noise feels easier on your ears, or perhaps you enjoy the pulse alongside the fizz? No rules, no right way to listen. YOU decide what your brain needs. 👂🏻 A Quick Sensory Heads-Up: Contains fizzing sounds ⚠️ SAFETY WARNING: Pure sine tones, tremolo tones and colour noise (including Brown, Green, Copper, Pink, Coconut Ice, Olive, White etc) can feel intense, particularly through headphones. 🔉 Keep it low: Listen at a comfortable, low volume and avoid turning up quieter or low-frequency sounds. ⏱️ Give your ears a break: Avoid prolonged continuous listening, especially when using headphones. (Can cause ringing in the ears) 👂🏻 Listen to yourself: Everyone responds to sound differently. If you experience discomfort, irritation, ringing in your ears or any other unwanted effects, stop listening. ⚠️ PLEASE LISTEN SAFELY: For adults only. Do not listen while driving, operating machinery, or whenever becoming drowsy could be unsafe. Flooba content is for entertainment and psychoeducational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional medical or clinical advice. ♾️ FEEDBACK + REQUESTS. Tell us what sounds work for you, and which don't. This will really help us. Perhaps your brain enjoys beginning with the consistent texture of colour noise and gradually discovering that somewhere along the way, it has become rain. You might notice the transition, drift through it without noticing at all, or simply enjoy whichever part your attention happens to land on. There’s no right way to experience the drift. WHITE NOISE + Heartbeat Pulse, Steady + Repetitive Fizziness
2026/10/10
🎧 Inside this Flooba episode... A continuous wash of white noise sits alongside a repeating heartbeat pulse, bringing together a broad, consistent hiss and a deeper, rhythmic thump. Two distinct sound textures, sharing the same space. 🧠 This might suit your brain if... ...you find yourself drawn to the combination of a constant sound and a repeating rhythm. Perhaps it's the contrast between the two, the steady pattern, the texture of the noise, or something else entirely that catches your attention. There's no particular way you're meant to experience it. No rules, no right way to listen. YOU decide what your brain needs. 👂🏻 A Quick Sensory Heads-Up. THUNDERSTORM Heavy Rain + Thunder For ADHD - NOT FOR EVERYONE! Whistling and Gusting Wind, Rain, Thunder
2026/10/08
🌈 EXTRA LONG EPISODES and SO MUCH MORE on APPLE (Free Trial) + PATREON  (Free Collections) 🌈 SEE BELOW 🎧 Inside this Flooba episode... Heavy rain, whistling and gusting wind, shifting storm textures and sudden rumbles of thunder create a wild, immersive and deliberately unpredictable soundscape. This isn't gentle, consistent rain. The intensity changes, the wind moves around and the thunder arrives when it feels like it. 🧠 This might suit your brain if... ...predictable sound isn't always what you want. Perhaps your attention enjoys waiting for the next rumble, following the changing wind or getting swallowed up by something big enough to compete with everything else. For some sensory-seeking brains, a full-on storm might feel far more satisfying than something quiet and gentle. For other brains, sudden thunder and unpredictable changes may feel uncomfortable or overwhelming, and that's equally valid. There is no universally calming sound. Notice what works for you, your brain gets to decide what this sound is for. 👂🏻 A Quick Sensory Heads-Up. 2026/10/04
🌈 EXTRA LONG EPISODES and SO MUCH MORE on APPLE (Free Trial) + PATREON  (Free Collections) 🌈 SEE BELOW 🎧 Inside this Flooba episode... A continuous layer of medium-light rainfall, with a soft, natural texture and gentle variations as the rain falls. No music or added distractions, just rain doing what rain does. 🧠 This might suit your brain if... ...you enjoy natural sound with a little variation, but nothing too demanding. You might reach for it when silence feels too silent, when unpredictable background noises keep grabbing your attention, or when you want a softer sensory backdrop for focus, settling, sleep or simply switching off for a while. 39 BPM Slow Heartbeat Pulse - Slow Repetitive Sound
2026/10/02
🎧 Inside this Flooba episode... Just a heartbeat. Nothing else. A very slow 39 BPM heartbeat, repeating steadily and predictably with no music, voices or extra layers competing for your attention. Simple, rhythmic and perhaps a little hypnotic. 🧠 This might suit your brain if... ..your brain likes having one predictable thing to follow, you're drawn to repetitive rhythms, or a simple sensory anchor feels easier to be around than a complicated soundscape. You might use it while resting, thinking, studying, drifting off, or simply noticing what happens when your brain meets a rhythm this slow. There’s nothing you’re supposed to feel or do while you listen. Notice what feels right for you. Your brain gets to decide what this sound is for. 👩‍🦳 Counsellor-y Bit! Rhythm can give us something interesting to notice in ourselves. Rather than assuming a slow heartbeat is inherently calming, try noticing your own response. Does your breathing change? Do your shoulders soften? Does your mind settle, focus on the beat, or find it irritating? From a person-centred perspective, your response is the useful bit. The same repetitive rhythm that feels grounding to one person may feel uncomfortable to another. ⚠️ SAFETY WARNING: Please listen responsibly. Keep the volume low, especially when using headphones, and avoid prolonged listening. Extended exposure to sound may cause discomfort, tinnitus or hearing damage. 🌈 EXTRA LONG EPISODES and SO MUCH MORE on APPLE (Free Trial) + PATREON  (Free Collections) 🌈 SEE BELOW 🎧 Inside this Flooba episode... Sound-Drift No.2 begins with the bright texture of pink noise, gradually and seamlessly drifting into the deeper, warmer rumble of brown noise as the hours pass. 🧠 This might suit your brain if... ...you like your sound to change, but very slowly and predictably. The gradual drift may give a busy brain less to notice as you settle, while maintaining a consistent sensory environment around you. You might reach for it at bedtime, to mask unpredictable nighttime noise, quieten mental chatter, or simply let your attention gradually drift away. As always, these are only suggestions. EXCLUSIVE: Escalator Whirring + Rhythmic Clunks - Give Your Brain Something Boring
2026/09/30
🎧 Inside this Flooba episode... The steady whirr, hum and gentle clunk-clunk pulse of an escalator doing what escalators do best... going round and round and round. It's repetitive, mechanical and reassuringly uneventful, with a consistent background hum and recurring rhythmic clunks. Nothing musical. Nothing meaningful. Just a machine quietly getting on with its job. 🧠 This might suit your brain if... Your brain likes repetitive mechanical sounds, predictable rhythms or having something neutral humming away in the background. You might try it while working, studying, zoning out, resting, or simply when silence feels a little too silent. Or you may discover that escalators drive your brain absolutely bonkers. COPPER NOISE + Gentle Backyard Rain - A Softer Place for Your Neurodivergent Brain
2026/09/27
🎧 Inside this Flooba episode... Flooba’s warm Copper Noise, a blend of brown + pink noise, sits beneath the gentle patter of light backyard rain. Soft, continuous and uncomplicated, with subtle natural variations in the rainfall over the steadier noise underneath. 🧠 This might suit your brain if... ...there’s something about soft rain and steady background sound that just feels nice to you. Perhaps your brain enjoys the little changes in the rainfall, or maybe it prefers the warm, consistent noise sitting quietly underneath. You might find yourself focusing, settling, sleeping, daydreaming, or simply enjoying the sound for what it is. There’s nothing you’re supposed to feel or do while you listen. Notice what feels right for you, your brain gets to decide what this sound is for. 👩‍🦳 Counsellor-y Bit! Sometimes it can be useful to notice your response to a sound rather than deciding in advance what it should do for you. Does your breathing change? Do your shoulders soften? Does your attention settle onto the rain, or does your brain find it irritating? Those little somatic clues can help you learn more about the sensory environments that feel comfortable for you. The sound itself isn’t inherently regulating. Your experience of it is the interesting bit. 👂🏻 A Quick Sensory Heads-Up: Contains: continuous 'broadband' noise and soft hiss. ⚠️ SAFETY WARNING: Pure sine tones, tremolo tones and colour noise (including Brown, Green, Copper, Pink, Coconut Ice, Olive, White etc) can feel intense, particularly through headphones. 🔉 Keep it low: Listen at a comfortable, low volume and avoid turning up quieter or low-frequency sounds. ⏱️ Give your ears a break: Avoid prolonged continuous listening, especially when using headphones.
