The Calm Before Every Storm
2026/10/12
What do you do when life feels like it's kicking your butt from every direction?
In this episode of The Wealthy Practitioner Podcast, Nikki gets real about a season of unexpected challenges, tough leadership decisions, team changes, personal loss, and a literal hurricane.
After two record-breaking months in business, things took a turn. But instead of getting stuck in everything going wrong, Nikki shares how she's choosing to navigate the chaos, raise her standards, and trust that everything is always working out in her favor.
From recognizing when someone is no longer the right fit for your team to learning what you're willing to tolerate as a leader, this episode is a reminder that sometimes the hardest seasons are making room for what's next.
Because just because things feel like they're falling apart doesn't mean they aren't actually falling into place.
Ready to build a million-dollar practice? Join us Thursday, October 15th, at 1 PM ET for our free masterclass, where we're breaking down the mindset, strategies, and frameworks behind building a seven-figure practice.

The Power of the Pivot
2026/10/05
Pivoting doesn’t mean you failed. Sometimes it means you finally have enough information to make a better decision.
In this episode, Gabrielle shares why she changed her goal of running the Philadelphia Marathon—and the mental battle that came with it. What started as a fitness goal had quietly become proof that she was disciplined, committed, and capable of following through.
But there’s a difference between commitment and attachment.
Commitment means staying connected to the bigger vision. Attachment means believing there’s only one way to get there.
Gabrielle breaks down how this applies to your life and your practice, especially when a goal, offer, hire, service, or schedule is no longer supporting what you’re actually trying to build.
In this episode:Why pivoting isn’t the same as quittingThe difference between commitment and attachmentWhy your goals don’t determine your worthHow new information can lead to a better decisionWhen to change direction—and when you simply need more clarityIf you know something needs to change in your practice but you aren’t sure what, start with the Practice Scaling Assessment. It will help you identify where your growth is getting stuck, uncover your biggest constraints, and get clear on what deserves your attention next.

60k In My First Month in Practice
2026/09/28
What would you do if your clinic opening was delayed, your license was held up, and you didn’t have the money to run ads?
In this episode, TWP Coach Alejandro shares the story he rarely tells: how he and Emily built relationships with their community for months before opening their doors—and went on to collect $60,000 in their very first month.
They attended every Chamber event, introduced themselves to local businesses, knocked on doors, created 100–200 new connections a day, and personally followed up with handwritten notes. They didn’t have a huge marketing budget. They were simply willing to do the work most people overlook.
Alejandro also shares how shadowing a high-volume practice shaped their vision, why proximity to the right mentors matters, and how staying grounded in their core values protected them from an opportunity that wasn’t right for them.
Five years later, that first clinic has grown into six—but it started with two people, an air mattress, a delayed opening, and a relentless commitment to becoming part of their community.
In this episode:
How Alejandro and Emily chose the community for their first clinicWhy observing a successful practice can change your entire visionThe lessons that happen outside the clinic when you get close to the right mentorsHow they created 100–200 personal interactions every dayWhy handwritten follow-up helped turn connections into patients and referralsHow they responded when their opening was delayedWhy you don’t need a massive advertising budget to create growthWhat to do when your practice feels stuck at its current level
If your business isn’t growing the way you want it to, there is still opportunity all around you. Meet your community. Learn from someone operating at the level you want to reach. Keep showing up—and don’t underestimate what you can build through real relationships.

People, Process or Policy.
2026/09/21
What if the problem in your business isn’t actually your team?
In this episode of The Wealthy Practitioner Podcast, Nikki is back after two weeks of travel: from France and Switzerland for her husband’s 40th birthday to six days in New Jersey with the TWP team. She’s talking about one of the biggest lessons in leadership: diagnosing the problem before you react to it.
When something keeps breaking in your business, it’s easy to assume you have a people problem. But before you blame the person, hire someone new, create another SOP, or jump in and fix it yourself, there are four places you need to look: people, process, policy, and leadership.
Nikki breaks down how to tell the difference between someone who needs more training and someone who needs accountability, why relying on your team to “just remember” is usually a process issue, and how unclear policies can turn you into the person everyone has to ask for permission.
And then there’s the hardest bottleneck to recognize: you.
If you require approval for everything, redo your team’s work, jump in the second something goes wrong, or say you want ownership but criticize decisions you wouldn’t have made yourself, you may be creating the exact dependence you’re frustrated by.
Because you cannot require control and then complain about dependence.
In this episode:
The difference between people, process, and policy problems“Can’t do it” vs. “won’t do it”Why leaders accidentally become the workaround for broken systemsHow to create decision-making boundaries that empower your teamThe four-question diagnostic Nikki uses when something repeatedly breaksWhy your role eventually has to shift from solving problems to building problem solversHow to recognize when YOU are the bottleneckThe goal of leadership isn’t to build a business that works because you’re there.
It’s to build one that works because of what you created when you’re not.
If this episode made you immediately think of a bottleneck in your own business, share it with another business owner and DM Nikki with what you discovered: people, process, policy… or leadership?

Winning Requires Change
2026/09/14
Most businesses don’t have a strategy problem—they have a truth problem.
In this episode, we’re talking about what leadership actually looks like as your business grows: creating a culture where people can tell the truth, putting the right people in the right seats, rewarding your top performers, and confronting problems before they become expensive.
We also get into:
Why your mission should guide real decisions—not decorate a wallThe difference between loyalty and keeping someone in a role they’ve outgrownWhy treating every team member the same can drive away your best peopleHow great leaders create clarity and energyWhy every team failure points back to a training or leadership gapThe shift from doing everything yourself to building people who can do it even betterYour next level will require stronger decisions, harder conversations, and a new version of you.

2026/09/07
What does it actually look like to go all in on your vision?
In this episode, Gabrielle shares the story behind her and Trey’s biggest Full Send moment yet: purchasing the future home of PAX. She breaks down the preparation that happened long before they received the keys—from building a clear vision and paying down debt to strengthening their financials and surrounding themselves with the right people.
You’ll also hear the step-by-step process of purchasing a commercial space, including finding the right property, making a competitive offer, securing financing, navigating appraisals and underwriting, planning the build-out, and turning the building into a long-term wealth-building asset.

Stop Wearing Struggle Like a Trophy
2026/08/31
Working harder isn’t always the answer.
In this episode of The Wealthy Practitioner Podcast, Alejandro gets personal about the mistakes he’s made while growing businesses, raising a family, and trying to carry too much himself.
There’s a difference between being in a season that requires you to push—and destroying yourself because you haven’t built the systems, support, or capacity to handle the life and business you’re trying to create.
This episode challenges you to stop treating every uncomfortable season like burnout, stop waiting to feel motivated, and start looking at where you may need more discipline, better systems, or simply more help.
Alejandro breaks down why your first—or next—hire might not even belong in your clinic. A nanny, housekeeper, meal prep service, personal assistant, or someone handling repetitive tasks at home could buy back the hours you need to lead your business AND actually be present with your family.
Because the goal isn’t to prove you can do everything yourself.
The goal is to build the capacity to carry more without sacrificing everything that matters to you in the process.
In this episode, you'll hear:
Why motivation is NOT a business strategyThe difference between discomfort and true burnoutWhy taking care of your health increases your capacity to leadHow hiring help at home can be just as valuable as hiring inside your businessWhy buying back your time doesn’t mean delegating your responsibilitiesHow to identify the work that actually moves the needleWhy doing everything yourself can become a leadership problemHow to recognize when you're in a legitimate season of grindWhy capacity has to come BEFORE expansionHow to build a business that serves your family instead of constantly stealing from itQuestions to ask yourself:
Where are you calling yourself burnt out when you may actually need more discipline?
What are you doing every week that someone else could do 80% as well?
Are you tired because you’re working hard—or because you’re working without clear priorities?
What habits need to change for your body to support the business you say you want?
And most importantly:
Are you building a business that serves your family—or one that constantly steals time from them?
You don’t need to wear struggle like a trophy.
Build the systems. Hire the help. Protect your health. Be present with the people you love.
And build the capacity for the next level before you ask for more.
The Dreamer and the Doer: Why Every Business Needs Both
2026/08/24
You can have the biggest vision in the world—but without someone who can turn that vision into priorities, systems, accountability, and execution, it stays an idea.
In this episode of The Wealthy Practitioner Podcast, Alejandro breaks down the relationship between the Visionary and the Integrator and why understanding which one you are can completely change the way you lead and scale your business.
Using the relationship between Walt and Roy Disney, Alejandro explains why some of the most successful businesses weren’t built by two people who thought alike. They were built by people with completely different strengths who trusted each other enough to stay in their lanes. Walt could see the castle before the land was even purchased. Roy helped figure out how to actually make it happen.
Inside this episode, Alejandro breaks down:
The defining characteristics of a Visionary vs. an IntegratorWhy having more ideas probably isn’t what your business needsHow a Visionary’s greatest strength can become the company’s biggest distractionWhy Integrators create clarity, systems, accountability, and measurable resultsHow to build trust between these two very different leadership stylesWhy your right-hand person shouldn’t think exactly like youThe questions every owner should ask themselves before trying to scaleBecause the goal isn’t to find someone who agrees with everything you say.
The goal is to find someone whose strengths fill the gaps in yours.

The Practice Growth Marketing Plan
2026/08/17
In this episode of The Wealthy Practitioner Podcast, Gabrielle is talking about one of the biggest mistakes practitioners make as they head into the second half of the year: taking their foot off the gas when they should be building momentum.
Because your Q4 isn’t built in Q4. It’s built right now.
Gabrielle shares why CEO days matter, how she’s using storytelling in her own marketing, and why the stories you tell can be far more powerful than simply sharing facts about what you do. She also breaks down a simple framework for capturing patient and client stories that actually connect with the people you want to reach.
Then, she walks you through how to audit your marketing going into Q3 and Q4: identifying where your best leads are already coming from, finding ways to get another 5–10 people from what’s already working, and recognizing the marketing channels you may be underutilizing.
You’ll also learn what to consider when building your marketing calendar—from seasonal opportunities and strategic partnerships to campaigns, events, lead magnets, patient appreciation, and the business goal that should be driving your marketing each month.
Your Q4 is being built right now. The question is: are you intentionally building it?
And if you’re ready to stop guessing and create real momentum heading into the rest of the year, join us for our 5-Day Grow Your Practice Challenge.
We’re spending five days helping you get clear, get confident, and make the moves that can change the trajectory of your practice before the end of the year.

The Blue Angels: What Elite Teams Understand About Excellence
2026/08/10
The world thinks the Blue Angels are a story about talent.
They're actually a story about standards.
After watching the Blue Angels for the first time, I couldn't stop asking one question: How?
How do six pilots fly just inches apart at hundreds of miles an hour? How do they trust each other enough to make something so dangerous look effortless?
The deeper I dug into their story, the more I realized the real performance isn't the 45-minute air show.
It's the thousands of hours of preparation no one ever sees.
In this episode, we're diving into the hidden world behind one of the most elite teams on the planet—and the leadership lessons every business owner can learn from the way they prepare, train, communicate, and pursue excellence.
In This Episode:
The surprising reason the Blue Angels were created after World War IIWhy they relocate to El Centro, California every winterWhat 120+ practice demonstrations teach us about preparationThe role of each Blue Angel pilot—and why role clarity mattersHow new pilots are selected (it's not just about talent)Why communication during the show is almost silentThe importance of debriefing after every performanceWhy the public sees talent, but elite teams see standardsIf you've ever wondered what separates good from truly exceptional, this episode is for you.
Because excellence isn't built when the crowd is watching. It's built in the standards you refuse to lower when no one is.

From the science of "collisions" to the importance of proximity, mission, vision, core values, and creating opportunities for your team, this episode will challenge the way you think about leadership and growth.
In this episode, you'll learn:

The Gift of a Well-Oiled Machine
2026/07/06
In this episode, Nikki sharing one of the biggest leadership lessons I've learned after more than 10 years of owning a chiropractic practice.
I recently heard the quote, "The greatest gift you can give your team is a well-oiled machine," and it completely changed the way I think about systems.
This episode isn't about building a business that feels robotic. It's about creating an environment where your team has clarity, confidence, and the freedom to focus on what matters most-serving people.
I also share why I was able to spend more time away from the office this past month, why that wasn't an accident, and how years of intentional leadership-not luck- made it possible.
If you've ever felt like your business depends on you for every decision, this episode is for you.
In this episode, we cover:
Why a well-oiled machine is one of the greatest gifts you can give your teamThe biggest misconception business owners have about systemsHow every great system is built from a need—not from perfectionWhy reducing decision fatigue creates better team members and better patient experiencesThe difference between creating dependence and creating ownershipHow small improvements, repeated over time, create massive freedomOne simple question to ask this week that will help you build your next great systemQuestion of the Week:
What's one thing your team has to think about every single day that they shouldn't have to?
If you can remove just one point of friction this week, you'll be one step closer to building a business that creates more clarity, more confidence, and more freedom—for both your team and yourself.
If this episode resonated with you, I'd love for you to share it with another business owner, leave a review, or send me a message on Instagram and let me know your biggest takeaway. Those messages truly make my day.
